she is an incredibly fun character to me. so quirky and well.. toxic. the animatuons reflect her really well. the bouce to her step combined , the ^_^ that turns into a -_- sometimes, the upbeat theme with its punky parts, really fits well altogether

Bede can't even go an encounter without bringing up his endorsement by Rose or him "going easy on you". Like bruh, all your guys got one-shotted, and you're still talking smack? Never before did I want to crush someone's dreams and leave them utterly broken before. Part of that may be because he was piss easy, but seems to be an issue with SwSh as a whole. Literally only trainer to ever give even a modicum of difficulty was Leon.

Just for once, I'd like to see the opposing Pokemon also get the "morale" buffs. Like "the enemy Weezing broke free of confusion to not let down its trainer" or something. Not only would it add more challenge and level the playing field, it'd help add characterization to enemy NPC's and their relationship with their Pokemon.

You could argue maybe Team Galactic, since they use a lot of Poison-types, but, from what I can remember, the only exclusively Poison-type trainers I can remember are Koga, Janine, and Roxie, who don’t really act evil in the slightest.
I love both Avery and Klara - they feel like humans and the rivalry with them feels organic because you really wanna beat them and rub their faces in it. And then you read their league cards and feel sorry for them

I wish they would scale more things. Like if you have 6 Pokémon she’d have 6. If her Pokémon were able to evolve at that level, they’d evolve. And giving her some items couldn’t hurt, even just Oran and Sitrus Berries would make it just a tiny bit more difficult

Oh man, that was cool. I was always waiting for something like that to spice the game up, she’s the first trainer in these games to ever cheat like that as far as I recall. Between the two rivals of Isle of Armor, I like Klara more than Avery. I feel that, as a rival, she's more vile than what he tries to show. Also, while both of them speak their type out loud, I don't have to read her speaking moves in normal sentences every two or three seconds.
One thing that baffles me maybe it's just with pokemon or maybe everything else but when the dlc was revealed and saw Klara everyone was whooping and clutching their chests and it was all 'I LoVe HEr" etc but I dont get it.. Meanwhile loads of hate at Avery. Is that common or what because I just dont get it.

The DLC can be played so long as you have reached the wild area. They didn’t want people who have just started the game to fight evolved Pokémon

Between the two rivals of Isle of Armor, I like Klara more than Avery. I feel that, as a rival, she's more vile than what he tries to show.

One thing that baffles me maybe it's just with pokemon or maybe everything else but when the dlc was revealed and saw Klara everyone was whooping and clutching their chests and it was all 'I LoVe HEr" etc but I dont get it.. Meanwhile loads of hate at Avery. Is that common or what because I just dont get it.
I think people love Klara because she's a cute girl. While the people who hate Avery are people who bought Shield and so they are forced to get a "douchey" looking guy in a hat instead of a cute girl.

I am so disappointed that Klara wasn't my adversary in Shield. I don't care that she is as condecending and conniving as Avery. She is so much more appealing to the eyes.
