apple should have never got rid of the Mini. Not everyone wants a big phone. it doesn't hurt their bottom line to have it in the line up

Agreed! I upgraded to the 13 mini last year - I didn't want a large phone - and LOVE it! I'm keeping it until it's not supported by Apple anymore. Apple did make a mistake discontinuing the mini line.
@@davidjacobs6244 They still sold millions. Could've made it the new SE, instead of the now expected 14 body. There are just some people who have a phone as a tool and not as a social media hub. Many people don't want to carry around bricks. I went from using an S23 Ultra to the 13 Mini and I never looked back.

I haven't been able to upgrade. I've returned: the 14 Pro, the 15 Pro and the 15 (in that order). I can't get myself to use anything larger and heavier now. I'll upgrade when Apple releases another mini, or when it is no longer supported in 3-4 years and I'm out of options at that point.
Love the content man! Love my mini in green. Only complaint is I didn’t go with more than 128GB. Wish I got at least 256GB. I traded my 12 mini to a 13 Pro, went to a 13 mini, back to a 13 Pro and finally back to a 13 mini. You are 1000% right. The form factor is its greatest strength. I will be keeping this one until I’m either forced to upgrade or they bring the mini back in my dream phone of a mini pro. Just make it thicker with a bigger battery, I wouldn’t even care!

I've had my iPhone 13 mini for almost two years...I still really loove it‼️
discontinuing the Iphone minis were such a mistake. I will hold on to my 13 mini, now 2+ years old, as long as I can.
It didn’t sell enough to make it viable.They would have kept it in the line up otherwise.
I like the rotating part of the o-ring at 5:53. It has an oddly satisfying look to it. And I enjoy playing around with my ostand case in a similar way lol.

If I didn’t have eye problems, I would have stayed with the 13 mini: it’s a phone for someone who doesn’t like the massive phones and use it for minimal app use. I used it for phone calls and texts and minimal emails and social media and it was great!
Actually quite similar. I loved my 13 mini more than my 13PM (too heavy) but since I got long Covid I’ve had to go back to a bigger phone (15PM) as get too fatigued using my 13 mini due to text size. It was the ultimate phone when you have a baby or toddler too as always need a spare hand then!

I have both 12 mini (blue, 128GB) and 13 mini (green, 128GB), I daily the 13 mini that I picked up in January 2023 and kept my 12 mini as a back up phone that I purchased at launch November 2020. The 12 mini was the device that pulled me away from Android back in 2020. I just LOVE the size. I will use them both until they die since Apple support just goes on and on within iOS. Battery Health on the 12 mini currently is 87% and the 13 mini battery health currently is 96% so I'm not worried on that front!!! Amazing phones!!

I love my 13 mini, I just have a hard time going back to 60hz. I also feel like iOS 17 doesn’t run as smooth as iOS 16 or iOS 15 did. Lots of little stutters when swiping around the os.
Yeah once you go pro motion it’s hard to go back
Had the exact same combo since the 13 PM and in same colours. I reluctantly sold my 13 mini to my best friend this month (about 6-7 of my mates in 40s and my wife all have one). The massive difference in weight for the 15PM to the 13PM means I stopped using 13 mini as my daily phone. I still miss it sometimes though. It still sold well just not well for Apple. I wouldn’t be surprised is the plus models hadn’t sold much more!

The intro looks cool, and I have the same phone case which is very solid.
I finally upgraded from the 12 mini due to battery life and I missed the telephoto lens. The ultrawide is almost useless to me.
When my current iPhone SE [2016] finally busts, I look forward to moving up to the Mini. Only 1 ounce more but screen size grows from SE's 4" screen [44.1 cm2] to Mini's 5.4"screen [71.9 cm2].
If mostly at home or in your own office, you're close to a charger and as well, if you don't need all of the Mini's A15 chip power, keep it in Low Power Mode to extend the battery.
I got a 15PM after having the 13PM for 2 years and for the first time I miss the 6.1 for factor😭 I didn’t want to but I think I’ll upgrade next year to 6.3 since it’s the perfect size up without being massive (the pros small battery is the main thing holding me back)

I have my purple 12 mini with 98% battery health. Brought it as a keeper because I love it. I also have the purple iPad mini. However my main iPhone is the 15 Pro and seems to be the perfect iPhone for me.
I’m still on my iPhone 12 mini since it was released back in 2020 and using it every day as my main and only source of internet as a hotspot on my MacBook at home. Battery is at 75% but I wouldn’t even noticed if I didn’t checked on it tbh. Still I put about 350GB internet traffic through this thing each month.
I mean, I have a small powerbank with me at all times but it works fine for me since I have a bag with me anyways.
Now I’m thinking of upgrading to a 13 mini or a new battery. The form factor ist just the best and I don’t know anything similar to that. Love the mini line and praying for a tiny SE4 in the near future at least ❤
I had it the 12 mini for about three months but because the screen was so small and my eyes are getting older I switched out with the regular 12 but now I have the 15 pro max and the pixel 8 pro. My last iPhone will be this one as iOS has gotten long in the tooth and I’m sure this one will last for years to come
This [15 Pro Max] is brilliant! But I like this [13 mini]!
I owned the 13 mini and loved everything but the battery life. The 5.4 screen is damn near the same 5.5 inch screen of the old plus models. Minus the bezels. I lived the size and feel in the hand and pocket, but being a heavy user I needed more. My 15 pro max now serves me best. Heavy use and no charge during the day and ending with about 20-30%. If somehow the 13 mini lasted as long I would not mind going back. Also even loved its cameras.
I love Torras phone case. Material is premium, soft and strong.
Last Christmas, I bought my sister a 13mini, and she was happy with it because the smaller screen size is more user-friendly for her small hands. Now, I think it would be a great idea to gift her a Torra phone case to complement her phone.
I have the blue 12 mini. Might upgrade to the 15 Pro Max or wait for the 16 series
Man, I could punch myself for not getting the mini. I needed a larger display and battery for work related stuff so I bought the 13 pro max when they came out.
But the mini is unique. The size and weight is perfect. Now they discontinued it, I regret not getting one. I hope the mini gets a comeback. Either as mini or a se model.

13 mini is so good! I miss those mini phones right now!!! Everything is just so big and not that comfortable for using!.

Yes! I think both phones need to exist. I totally get why people would want both of these options. My wife and I are still both using minis.

I don’t understand why people hate the Dynamic Island so much. Sure it could use some more add ons but I think it’s great especially when you’re listening to music while playing a game or being on another app.

I loved my Mini when I had it, but for my job I needed something with a better camera and battery so I got the 15 Pro. It’s the perfect size phone for everything. The all rounder.

I jumped into the iPhone 12 mini and liked it a whole lot but, then went to 14 Pro Max for battery life as I was traveling a lot... and promptly decided I hated it and went the 13 mini which I've used ever since. I will give up my mini when they pry it from my cold dead fingers 😛 or when they make another comparable phone. Thanks for the fun video!
Yeah I found that the battery performance from the 12 mini to 13 mini was quite better, 12 mini struggled to get me through the day while the 13 was fine. Apple needs to bring the mini back in someway, hopefully soon!

Folk forget, the first iterations of the iPhone were about the size of what the mini is now. Marketing has convinced the masses "bigger is always better." Your video perfectly sums up why that is not always true in the case of the 13 mini.
You just got to give the phone a chance and people will know that bigger isn’t always better!

I think stores like target and Walmart might have stock. You can get refurbished ones on Amazon as well.

@@sunilnathani3924 I just did a quick google search and won’t investigate further. More than 600 android phones against 4 iPhones. If you don’t see the bias in your comparison I can’t help you.
For me, the max is a bit cumbersome but a normal size iPhone is important for being able to play games and watch tv. Honestly i probably need some kind of joystick setup even on the normal navigating live action games can have bad inputs.
