Baltany and Milifortic are the same company (Dongguan Baoying Watch Industry Co Ltd) as sibling brands. Pouying, Scutumette, SCMT and Amitola are others they own.

Nice find! I like the fauxtina! And it's got better specs than the other Murph homages. The Milifortic branding is OK, at least it's inoffensive. If I had to guess, is it a Baltany sister brand? If so I wouldn't mind a Baltany branded Murph homage.

Very cool. Don’t mind the name at all. When you said NH38, I knew it was a Baltany sister brand. Thanks for the great review! (Edit) I went to their website. They seem to have only about four watches for sale. And their dive / GMT Watches have yet another name. Hopefully they get everything squared away soon because this seems like a nice watch.

I agree with your excellent review; the best Murph homage if you value a fine crystal, anti-reflective treatment and a proper no-date movement. Branding is subtle BUT I'd prefer Baltany over Milifortic.

I wish Milifortic would do a quartz VH31 no date like the Escapement Time one as I don't like that one due to no sapphire and off the shelf hands!
Nice watch. Looks good, the brushing is top notch. The brand name lets it down though. It's not terrible but "Fortic" just rolls off the tongue a bit easier than Mil-li-for-tic....

Nice "Murph style" field watch with good specs and price. Nothing more off putting than a ghost date position so I'm happy they didn't cheap out there. In the basket hoping for a good sale discount.
I think more brands need to start using "true" no date movements, with no-date dials. It shows that extra attention to detail. Hope you get it for a good price! Thanks for watching!! 👍👍
If I were to do this, I'd get the Escapement Time and put a sapphire crystal on it. It would still be cheaper. For some reason, I feel like this would be better in quartz.

Nice review as always and a nice watch. Has anyone ever contacted sellers on Ali express to let them know how Ali express sale prices affect UK buyers? Maybe worth doing a video on this subject to try to influence sale prices for the UK. What I’m getting at is any watch on aliexpress sold below £135 is hit with 20% tax, so a watch that was maybe £160 before the sale reduced to let’s say £130 ..jumps back up to £156 inc tax. It does my head in …if they reduced price to £135 that’s the price UK buyers would pay. In a recent sale the Thorne shy036 Pelagos dropped from £162 to £124 (yes £124) but when tax was added back it jumped to £148. I tried to explain to the seller I would buy if they increased the price to £135 but this was lost in translation.
Cheers, I really appreciate that! I hear what you're saying and I've been in the same situation myself. It can be quite frustrating when buying items just under the £135 threshold. From a seller's point of view, I suspect there's little they can do, as AliExpress deals with numerous countries, some of whom will be subject to tax at checkout, others not...and selective pricing according to region is probably not feasible/practical on their system. Agree with your comment. The 20% addition, can push the price up to close to the cost of something more expensive, that has been well discounted.
Baltany field case.. I haven't seen any reviews on this guy yet, Kinda surprised that it hasn't gotten more attention, given its family connections. Yes, it is the best Murph homage. The name is so-so, more no, but with just the small print and no large logo its not offensive like the Addiesldive Resembles the OG more than other offerings. The color of the printing and hands are similar. If the case was a smidgeon thinner It'd feel less chunky and be closer to the OG. But what are you going to do? Spend $700 ish on the OG? NAH! I picked this guy up on the 11/11 sale for $110. At the time only one had been sold from the Mififortic store. I was a little concerned about trying an unknown label, but I'm glad I did.
It seems that the Scutumette seaQ is from the same family, its thin skin-diver case is tight. Maybe a review of that one.. Thanks for the content.

Great looking watch! I do wish these brands would come up with better brand names. I would buy a watch from some of tnese stores/brands if they had a traditional Chinese name instead of these silly brand names. Mysterious Code anyone. Are these brands even trying? Sorry for the rant. It's a still a great watch and your review was spot on!
