Love the increased production value in recent years. It keeps me coming back more than the gameplay. I literally Loled to "I'm out of spells, time for a Long Rest." Loved the meta humor.
While I would have liked to see some of the mechanics from the set, like dice rolling, that was a fun match to watch regardless. Also, the animations for Tiamat and The Ozolith were fantastic!
In all honesty I couldn't help but laugh when the Barbarian popped off faster than they realized that the Barbarian was playing something other than red XD

We way overvalued lifegain (and feared life loss, it took some time to get necropotence), ask anyone who has tapped out to play Stream of Life. If I have all the life, I can't possibly lose!

My playgroup would have frowned upon that "deal" which Lady "upheld"... leaving the Ozolith in play the single creature removal on Michaels side was kind of a joke...
...fair enough but you would certainly hate playing with ME then. I use every opportunity I can to play a board wipe (if it makes sense for me to do so that is)
@@profozpin227 Tbf, I think it was less the board wipe and more the underhanded deal aspect. Lady danger intentionally and maliciously left the terms of the deal very vague on what she'd do and and was very specific on what she wanted to get out of it. She did more damage to her partner in the deal and didn't even handle the worst part of the opponent's board which was the ozolith.

I was really rooting for Kalain, since everyone has been really devaluing this commander since it came out, but I really liked it and was very excited to see it perform this well in this game!

They did delay and modified a ton of trigger during that game. I guess its easier for general viewer to understand the game. But as far I am concern I haven't seen one that would modify the board state.

36:34 this was an awesome opportunity to show people visually how the stack works, explain APNAP, FIFO, etc. And even explain why Necromantic Selection can steal commanders. Instead we see triggers mentioned after the fact. I think they should have used the opportunity.

I was really rooting for Kalain, since everyone has been really devaluing this commander since it came out, but I really liked it and was very excited to see it perform this well in this game!
I built a commander deck with her and I wipe the floor with people's faces! She is an awesome commander :). Sorry to chime in. But I agree very underrated.

They did delay and modified a ton of trigger during that game. I guess its easier for general viewer to understand the game. But as far I am concern I haven't seen one that would modify the board state.

36:34 this was an awesome opportunity to show people visually how the stack works, explain APNAP, FIFO, etc. And even explain why Necromantic Selection can steal commanders.
Instead we see triggers mentioned after the fact. I think they should have used the opportunity.

The esper Sentinel trigger resolves before the smothering tithe does. So when she draws a card the tithe isn't on the battlefield yet.
hahahahahahaha that intro scene was hilarious. OK I've watched like 5 of your commander game vids with guests and I'm def a fan... but this production was top notch and hilarious. You guys are really incredible. All the work put into these videos... the animations, the editing, the planning, the promotions and making them fun to to watch, the guests, and most importantly the showcase of Magic the Gathering. I think anyone from veteran players to complete beginners trying to get into commander would enjoy these videos.....
I just want to say Thank You.... to everyone involved in making these videos. You guys are awesome.
