Lol, I came to this video because I was literally humming this song to myself and had to hear it... songs from my youth lol... I'm 45 now and this song is still in my head decades later lol
This minor-key, military-cadence-style overworld music is a small masterpiece for the NES. It starts off perilous and angst-ridden, and ends almost triumphant. As a kid it stuck with me for a long time.
One of the few NES games i actually played through multiple times (or at all) Couldn't understand english at the time so many games were pretty frustrating experience. BC had some tricky parts that really tested the durability of the legendary controller when I died but it wasn't painfully difficult like some games.
@@xVNDL_ Preaching to the choir, but if my extensive experience with this kind of situation is correct...just...don't get your hopes up. Unless they add it to NES online, then you're all gravy.
@@TomAnderson7 Although Tim Follin composed for the European computers, and in my opinion, his version of the songs just crush the original versions (Arcade/NES).
Wow... my childhood. I hum this song to myself a lot 30+ years later.

Oh my god, i'll never forget this song...
This is like Gutsman’s brother’s theme
omg, totally is!
No. Gutsman’s theme is Spencer’s brother’s theme, if we’re gonna compare the two at all. Honestly, I don’t hear the resemblance.
THE SNARE
Yes! All the remixes, remasters, and "orchestrated" version always miss the snare!
The first area the most epic raid sing ever

30 Years of Bionic Commando NES Game (1988-2018)
And now is 35th anniversary and still they haven't port the Rearmed 2 into PC, PS5 and latest Xbox series.
@@mr.pointman1930hey, we still have it on PS Premium, so there’s a little bit of hope for a new game, I guess…
This is the song I think of when I hear just the word “bionic”
Like the area 5 version, this sounds leagues better than the arcade version.
There were several NES games that surpassed its arcade counterparts. Balloon Fighter to name one

Apparently Harumi Fujita, the composer of this tune, is going to appear in the USA at Otakon 2022!
It sounds like a mix between Gutsman and Gun smoke!!
Catchy as fuck.
Even in the Dubstep remix by Rusko the first 26sec. of 8-bit is the best part :P
bionic commando on switch anyone?
ryan shearon please!
Seriously.
As long as the don't fuck it up like they did with the "open world" bionic commando.
@@newbaggett i meant the NES version its the only one i have fond memories of
