Great video I had no problems. Thanks so much my application was plug and play no cutting or soldering of the wiring harness. Mine came with the rear sensor magnet attached. To the plug which plugged right into my factory wiring harness. My vehicle was a 2007 Mazda 5 and mine was a non floating application which relied on proper shimming and very close tolerance. Relying on Magnetic force to spin the clutch. There was no movement on the old bad clutch or the replacement. Working fine now.
Great video...I would like to say when I installed my new pully and clutch plate with the original shims the gap was to small. I had to adjust shims ( a few were provided with the new clutch) to get a gap of .018 to .020 inch. So always check the gaps with a feeler gauge and add or remove shims as needed.

Hey buddy need help… what is the part you are sanding call? I need to replace it because my A/c clutch rubbed against it and damaged it… Thank in advance.
Dude. Awesome tutorial. Can u tell me the specs/measures of the shims? I have m3 2008 2.0 150hp and I lost the cover of my clutch so I have to buy a new one and shims+central screw. Is there always 3 shims inside?
Yes but you will have to losen the bolts to remove the belt if you have a dedicated belt or no tensioner. But you don't have to discharge the system or remove the AC lines mine was a 2007 Mazda 5
Great videos! I replaced the bearing in my pulley and when I re-install everything and put in the screw the gap is incorrect. The clutch is too close to the pulley. Is it normal to need more shims (i have the 2 original shims that were there when I removed the pulley)? I was wondering if the pulley itself needs to move further in (i.e. I need to use a pulley pusher to put on the pulley?
@@jonathangaliano2617 i don't seem to have the specs anymore. I purchased the bearing and had a local shop remove the old bearing and press in the new one into the pulley. I'm sure you'll find the bearing specs with some deep googling. Good Luck

Soldering is superior, by far. It will be stronger than the wire itself. Use some heatshrink tubing and you're good to go.

The clutch plate is a 2 piece assemble held together by the 3 moulded rubber material.
The kits now come with the original harness and thermal switch, no splicing is necessary. ACCLUTCHKIT.COM
I have a noise and the air conditioner is very cold, but I suffer from noise, it is very annoying. Do I just change the coil or what 😭
Great video

If the bearing is your problem then you can remove the pulley as seen in the video and just change the bearing which is pressed in.
Great video, thank you! It really helps

Hi,
Needs to be between the clutch and the thermal protector for it to work proper.
If you bypass the thermal it won't work properly
i see a gap when you engaged that clutch to many spacers
Hello is it the same as a 2009 mazda 5??
Why are you so specific on where to splice the wire and what happens if you do it elsewhere?
very good
hello year for Mazda 3 1.6 or 2.0?
Can this be done without removing the compressor from the car ?

It is possible to install it in place, but it would take a lot more time and patience.
what the name of the tool used to remove the clamp ? some sort of plier with 2 pins
Are you asking about the snap ring pliers? That was a snap ring in the middle holding the coil

Hi
How can I help you?
I replaced my compressor last year with a GDP brand one. Will your parts fit with a non-Mazda AC compressor?
I'm sorry but these kits only fit the original compressor.
They do not fit aftermarket models.
