I haven't checked this out yet, but I read the patch notes and I'm very impressed with what they've added/changed for their first update. I would've been happy with just the Hollow Halls, or just the QoL improvements, but they gave us both! Excited to check it out once my friends are available.

Thanks for doing this video! All the great things they did in this patch is amazing. Other much larger companies can seriously learn a thing or two (looking at you EA) I am reluctant about the new dungeons though because I play solo but it appears you can at least do the first one solo at level 25. With so many things to love about this game for solo players I was sad to see the patch notes suggest that you go in them with friends which means (to me) that it is most difficult to do alone, easier with one other person, easier still with two, etc. so difficulty scales down not up. I was hoping they would just scale dungeons based on the number of party members and not force us to find groups. but I am only one player probably in the minority.
I think majority of players probably are solo players - lots of survival game players are. I've done all four Hollow Halls solo and they aren't that bad fully geared at level 25. I'd recommend just giving them a go t least its good new content.

After the second one I am sure I will not do the third one. I was in there for way too long and I am not sure what would have happened if I quit. Maybe if I have more time on the weekend I might come back.
Also that stupid slime slope kept killing me and I could not recover the items that got stuck in the middle of it.
I can confirm for you if you quit the game mid way through then when you start you'll spawn back at your last flame alter outside and need to restart. Learnt that the hard way.
