Completely agree re the second phase, I couldn’t find any sort of pattern in the 2nd phase with the constant holy damage. Did it last night using this build, thanks very much!!

Blocking that flame attack instead of jumping it was the tech. You’ll take some frostbite damage but cleared this boss first try using your method. Thanks!!

Thanks for another great guide! Once I went out to get the missing talismans and tears, the stamina issue was fixed, and Thiollier+Mimic and I went to work on Radahn. Felt so good to get this weight off my shoulders.

He absolutely has to be less resistant to holy than the other types because I just melted him with the sacred relic sword lol. Im at like level 13 scadutree blessing also.

Is the Moonveil or Rivers of Blood katana Nerfed.. because that’s what I use and I’m getting nowhere 153 level ..Intelligence 60 .. Dex 28 .. Strength 23

tbh the biggest boost i needed was just someone saying that his attacks are honestly not that bad lol

I absolutely decimated this boss by accident. I think i was blessing level 10 cus i was exploring like crazy and ended up here. I rushed up to him and jump attacked him quickly followed by a lions claw and broke his stance. I had enough stamina for another lions claw + jump attack so he was basically in a stun lock. I wish i had found him earlier tho cus dodging his wombo combo and horse was super fun.

Man fuck this game. 😂 I must have died a few hundred times. That 2nd phase is crazy.

Out of elden ring as a whole, this is the only boss that isn't fun and is just trash. Not saying that cause I was getting beat by it, but it's pooly designed gameplay wise

Don't lose this sense of teaching and visual aid. This is really easy to watch and understand. These boss fights are becoming more manageable. Subscribed for more guides like these :)

Only thing that is hard about Bayle is that the lock on is his head and its so hard to hit because he wont stop moving and he lifts his head all the time. But when you hit the body you do no damage. Why cant I lock on his feet?

Im too impatient, and he's so aggressive. This will be the only boss of every souls game (including Sekiro) I will never beat.

Boss was really fun and I got really close to beating her a lot of times it’s just so hard to find a time to hit her for me, also she never gets staggered for me

When I first got to this boss I was like OH MY GOD, A DLC BOSS THAT DOESN'T HAVE NEAR INFINITE COMBOS OR VOMIT INDUCING AOES THAT DROWN THE PLAYER IN PARTICLE EFFECTS AND IS THEREFORE AN ACTUAL GREAT BOSS? I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!

OK thank you so much tried many two handed builds with both mimic and summons and it just wasn't working. Moved to this build word for word, tried solo twice just to get the patterns down with the shield, summoned another awesome shield and spear buddy and BOOM he was down! Thank you again.

I've already put in a couple nights worth of experience fighting Messmer so I was kinda familiar with the combos but your advice and tips gave me insight from a detached perspective and things sort of just clicked for me -- I became more patient and I ended up finally seeing the second phase twice, killed him on the second time! Great guide man, feels good to finally beat him

Great video! In my experience the first two deaths I felt intimidated but I somehow managed to beat her in less that 5 tries using a bleed build with maxed out Rivers of Blood and Uchigatana. I also wasn't shy to let the summonable knight from outside the boss room and my own Black Knife Tische summon distract while I picked spots to spam Rivers.

Really wish I wasn't on NG+3 when I started the DLC.

I am having a hard difficulty but so far my erdtree fragments a equal to lv 3, I think I need to find more, I am almost there, she always gets me with the damn moons

I decided to go for the complete edition as a new player in quite some time.

The shroud potion does work in the shroud it adds 2 or 4 minutes to your timer not time but max time nothing restores time but being out of the shroud or flame sources this is just people not understanding the potion nothing more

Who the hell is going to remember all this in a middle of a fight as a mage........😂😂

Using the dragon hunters great katana (+9) made all the difference for me. Was able to get into a position where Igon and my summon was distracting it so I could spam the ash of war.

I summoned the knight and my mimic tear and used my Lightning Beast Crest Heater Shield +25 to block Rellana's sword strikes. Beat her on the first attempt after discovering I could block her sword.
