And bear in mind us being a top flight club would only be an odd proposition because of mismanagement we were in the top flight for 34 consecutive seasons and were a founding member of the PL. Most people actually expected that he would first begin being semi-regular starter by next season, since he'd have to use most of the current one to get back into form and clock frequent hours in the gym to beef up a tad, since he's somewhat on the light side in terms of expected physical demands in Premier League.

    One has to understand that when De Gea signed that deal in 2019, Manchester United where desperate to keep him from joining Real Madrid, something that would have been very tempting for a player such as himself.
    Finding a proper replacement for him would have cost even more (in terms of transfers & wages) than giving De Gea that contract.
    Speaking of which, it's quite telling that Real Madrid where unwilling to offer Varane & Casemiro anything like £300k a week to either player. Despite the fact said club has lost some key players over the years...

    @nachoschg ปีที่แล้ว

    If it wasn't for Ivan Toney's betting issues and his extended ban from any football activity, he would have been in the best conditions to negotiate a new contract and make himself the highest earner at Brentford. As Alfie stated, Damsgaard is still young, but he hasn't made anything worthy of recogntion at club level to be the player with highest wages at Brentford. They just signed Damsgaard because he had, indeed, great performances for Denmark NT at 2020 Euro. But he was just a meh player at Sampdoria despite being a regular starter for the Italian club. Sampdoria was already in financial troubles a year ago, so the club didn't doubt that much about selling a player who was not impressing at club level and the fee was way too good to be rejected by a financially troubled side like Sampdoria.
    Speaking of Sampdoria, do you think the club will be liquidated in the upcoming months? Do they have any chance to find investors to avoid being dropped directly to Serie D?

    I'm gonna put in another request for a hypothetical starting XI for the East African Federation, a proposed federation (big surprise there) of Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda. None of them are exactly what you'd call powerhouse footballing nations, with the exception of the DRC, but with plenty of players from those nationalities in the French and German leagues there's bound to be some diamonds in the rough. I did actually send Alfie a Twitter DM detailing my own attempt at an EAF first team, complete with a kit design and a subs bench, but since that didn't get a response I can only assume it got lost in the post. It's not like he'd ignore an unsolicited private message about putting together a national football team for a country that doesn't exist, right? Right?
    This is request number 16; calling it a streak feels a little disingenuous considering I miss days a lot of the time due to my health. I intend to go for as long as I can until Alfie either makes the video or tells me to bugger off. I'm sure you have your own opinions about which is more likely. =]

Same with Zimbabwe, which is just a horrible look for FIFA - because Zifa (the football governing body in Zimbabwe) was shuttered by the government on account of a massive scandal involving the routine sexual abuse of female referees as well as open corruption by Zifa officials. FIFA is retaliating against national teams for their governments holding their footballing bodies accountable, and it's a pretty dreadful look. They will charge me £7 for a Fosters. People would have a lot less problems with the amount of money footballers make if these prices was fixed because it’s not right when they take a massive proportion of my salary to watch my team lose every week I’m a QPR fan
