Carlo is a legend, but there are other trophies that count, and his league performances with a series of top teams have left a lot to be desired - he's still never won multiple league titles at any club.

@@Fmfcg Exactly one. Pep and Mou would also win titles at PSG and Juve/Milan, and at a better rate than Carlo, who won 1 of 2 in France with a team who outspend the whole league, and just 1 across 10 seasons with AC Milan and Juventus. Carlo has had a great career, and his UCL results have been spectacular, but his league performances have been undeniably poor compared to other great managers, the only reason he's won all the different ones is that he's managed more clubs in more places.

Honourable shout for Forest should be Brennan Johnson - he was unplayable in a few matches and, for his first ever season in the Premier League, he did really well. Forest would have been dead and buried without his goals at key moments. e.g. double vs. Leicester at home, goals home and away vs. Everton for a point each time, goal at home vs. Leeds that won 3 points and a goal at home against Wolves for another point.

Definitely agree with Danilo at Forest as he has been absolutely superb once he got a brief rest after joining us straight after finishing a full season in Brazil. He needed the break, but once he had been given his chance you hit the nail on the head as he has been absolutely superb. I realise Morgan Gibbs-White has already had a full season last year out on loan from Wolves but that was in the Championship where he was clearly the best player at Sheffield United, therefore this year was his true breakout full season in the Premiership, however he is 23 and was Forests best player of the season voted by fans despite his price tag! He was absolutely superb and deserved all the accolades though sadly he didn't get the England Call-Up that his performances deserved or warranted, especially the one against Manchester United when MG-W had Casemiro in his pocket until Casemiro snapped and injured him thus putting him out of the game in the 70th minute, from that point on Casemiro ran the game and Man Utd won the game after MG-W had to be subbed off injured! Thankfully he was able to shrug off the injury as we were all seriously concerned as to how long he would be out for as it looked to be a bad injury too! I must admit, I can't even remember if Casemiro was even booked for the crippler of a foul that he used on MG-W for which he really deserved a Red Card as it was a really rather dangerous tackle! Great video as usual and very informative too! Wtg!

Correct answer for Bournemouth is Phillip Billing. He had 3 previous PL campaigns for Huddersfield and Bournemouth, but looked much improved this past season and was involved in most of Bournemouth's attacking moves. Yes, he had 2 good goal-scoring seasons in the Championship in 2020-21 and 2021-22, but scoring 7 in 36 in the PL is a very decent record for a midfielder, particularly for a mid-table side like Bournemouth - he actually scored 1 more goal than Solanke!

Jensen has really gone under the radar. A LOT of people said brentford would be in a relegation scrap this season, whcih if you know brentford is a hilaruous prediction. But there was an issue in midfield with a lack of creativity.

He started 24 matches in the PL. He had 25+ league starts in each of the last 4 seasons at BVB, even though the Bundesliga season is 4 matches shorter.
He was subbed in 11 times for Man City this season, more times than in all of his 5 season BVB career combined where he was supposedly a "benchwarmer".
He's played 39 matches at CB and only 2 at both RB & LB. An outside centrehalf in a back 3 is not a fullback. 2 matches don't make a world class defender.
He has world class physical attributes, so he is obviously looking more impressive than he is. But his concentration and his decision-making puts a ceiling on him. I'd be surprised if he could play on such a high level next season.

Another example is your almost 2 year old video on which country's best player of all time would best fit into their Euro 2020 squad - I only just watched this a few days ago as unfortunately I didn't know about your channel back then.
