Of course and teams based on just by being in the Premier League now. I was just looking through the EFL recently and was really shocked at the size of some of the teams down there.
The reason why parachute payments became a thing in 2000-01 was because Sheffield Wednesday's relegation the season before. They had a couple international players on big wages but had a terrible/decrepit defense and went down, thus hemorrhaging money with no TV money to pay their salaries. Wednesday have been out of the EPL since 2000, closest they came to promotion was a 2015/16 playoff final loss, but have a 40k stadium in the 4th biggest city in England. The club had to liquidate most of it's assets including it's own training ground, and had to abolish their youth academy for many years (right at the time Jamie Vardy was released at age 16). Just awful, awful timing with it all.
Post 5: Alfie you should really consider doing a video on the Bosnian men's national team, from being ranked 13 in the world in 2014 and qualifying for the World Cup in Brazil, to not qualifying for a single tournament since, yet managing to win their uefa nation leagues group, but genuinely hitting our lowest point with a 2-0 defeat to Luxembourg. Aging players, players who represent other national teams that are eligible to play for Bosnia but aren't seeming interested, just the genuine geopolitical mess that Bosnia is with how the Dayton agreement was meant to simply end the Bosnian war yet became the country's de facto constitution. I think it would make for a very interesting video, and could even span additional videos like how Velez Mostar are forced to play away from their original stadium in Mostar as it is on the Croatian side of the river, with their old stadium being taken over by Zrinjski Mostar. A club that was actually banned in Yugoslavia because of their nationalistic origin

This video really gives some credence to the argument of fergie being a check book a manager, tho I disagree with that statement
And the Kepa hate doesn't stop!
King Henry 👑
Liverpool gonna buy mbappe for sure and shatter the record
Remember guys, Heskey cost the same as Henry. Yeah I know ...
Heskey was a up and coming striker, why Henry was a massive flop at juventus
@@petesmart1983 the funny thing is that when henry first arrived arsenal fans didn't think he would be able to shoot on target even if the goal was twice as wide. Lol
And they accuse City of buying success...United so hypocritical
All top clubs buy success apart from the odd win of Leicester
The difference is united didn't break the law.
Gracias De Gea
Day 54 Dream OFC XI all the OFC teams played as one nation in international Football not giving up on this
shoulda made a dogging joke about collymore
Roy Keane isn’t British
"British record" as in record signing by a British club, not record signing for a British player
@@ethandalton6480 No that’s just stupid. Say “English club”
I keep saying Maguire definitely has Alfie's nudes somewhere. He's been horrible for Man United
