It's Binky Time! That means stop whatever insignificant thing you're doing and bask in the glory for the next 28 minutes and 56 seconds! Thank you as always gentlemen!
Tom's Turbo Garage I was thinking about recommending this to you while watching this episode, good thing i looked at the comment section before embarrassing myself!
Hi from Nurburg. Cool. Already looking forward to it. Having some idea of the hours that go into a good project I appreciate what you guys have achieved. Having some idea of what goes into a really challenging litre into a pint pot nuisance its remarkable progress is measured in months. Top stuff as always.
I don't care much for dragon balls, but I've got a great deal of respect for Batman, Robin, and the Haberdasher! From the steering boot, to the extra leg and boot [LOL]... to the hub adapters. Just wow! You guys nail every detail of creative engineering, and of what a TH-cam video should be. Thank you for letting it interfere with your personal lives, because it's a gift! I mean that! Which one of you had to put a boot on the wrong foot?
My wife took the dog and said she not coming home until I stop watching replays of PROJECT BINKY...............Going to miss that dog. When episode 11?
This whole series is just engineering porn and I love it! I've just ran through the past 10 episodes this week and loved every moment. +10 brownie points for The Thick of It quote! Keep up the good work chaps.
I think you blokes have unwittingly - or possibly wittingly - created a cult movie, I personally await each episode with more fervour than the Game of Thrones... and that's saying something. The humour is sublime, delivered so straitly-faced, that it often delivers projectile tea droplets onto my screen... "dirty ring piece"... "might turn up", classic. But underlying the great and funny story is the flawless and innovative engineering, and that is the great strength of this amazing series.
Sorry gang, episode 11 has been delayed due to a number of issues. We're working on it right now and will have it out just as soon as we can. Please bear with us.
+Bad Obsession Motorsport It's all right guys I'm sure It's all Nicks fault, but he's not always in his right mind so we will let him have a pass. You guys ROCK, and BINKY will be the most marvelous machine seen by man since Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Project Binky, a half hour of mayhem, and goodly bit of skill, that passes before you know it. They may not sell cheesy comestibles on the BOM site but they manage to get enough cheesy jokes into 30 minutes to keep any cheese lover happy. This is the only channel I watch first on the PC and then watch again on the big screen TV. Good stuff!
Gentlemen, thank you so much for presenting your projects to the world. It's an absolute treat! I'd like to ask about steering column. Why wouldn't it have worked, if you had installed it without bushings? Couldn't find the answer. Hope you'll read this comment one day. 😄 Cheers from Russia.
Jonathan Watmough Yeah, unless the high pressure outlet is vertically above the piston, on the end of the cylinder surely it'll be impossible to get the air out
The ONLY good thing about the long wait between episodes is you completely forget about the series and be so much more excited when a new episode pops up unexpectedly.
I'm a very late entrant to these series, and I've only got as far as this episode. I am absolutely loving these! I work in a similar setup (albeit not as polished), and I can tell everybody watching, with certainty, that these guys are good. Very good! Nothing they've done here is easy, and building something rattly and lairy that flies on tracks and in forests - though difficult in itself - is much, much easier than getting a road car built to be servicable, reliable, fun, comfortable, capable and all the while being road legal. It's no easy task. I feel the pain on every single one of those folds and plug welds! I wish I had your patience! Keep it up chaps.
This is one of the greatest examples of custom fabrication and engineering I have seen done involving a vehicle. Keep up the great work. I cant wait to see the next video.
Thanks guys, I watched 1 to 9 in one sit, and just finished this one. It's taken a long time since you started, but it's really starting to pay off now! Subscribed!
***** Between working on the new shop and house, it's getting a little work done about once a week. I'm looking forward to doing some Cosmo work tomorrow after being delayed for several weeks due to promised parts not showing up at the local electronics store. However in the mean time, it's nice being able to see an update on Binkey.
+Bad Obsession Motorsport nah mate , thanks for the great series , no potential customer , could have any doubts about your work , so hopefully itll pay dividends in the future !
After watching all episodes in one sitting, I listen to them in the background while working on the computer. Nearly three weeks later, I am still listening and looking forward to episode 11.
Wow,I finally made it through all ten episodes!! Amazing job,you lost me on a few of those creations, but impressed me anyway. I've enjoyed all ten episodes, now I can't wait for the next one. Don
This is one series that I wish I'd have found years after production. Another month to wait. Arse! Monty Python, Police squad and a bit of Top gear all mixed in with some class engineering. You really know how to spoil a guy.
Dont Give up !!!! hang in there with your 'all consuming project' . Binky will become legendary and i think with all of us watching her build will all feel an infinity towards her ....(um ..or him). Fantastic show and i wait eagerly for each episode . Well done guys. Told everyone who will listen to subscribe and watch.
Just wanted you guys to know I've been watching since episode 8 and I've rewatched the whole series each time a new episode comes out. I must say, this is my favorite thing on the internet.
Salutations from San Francisco Ca. By chance, I stumbled upon this gem of a car program a few weeks ago, and wound up binge watching the entire series (to date) in one night. Something deeply comforting about watching the fine art of project creep being performed at such a high level. I also appreciate the painstaking effort that goes into rationalizing this kind of madness. Viva la insanity brothers. Living in the Pacific North West, suffice to say, I'm a coffee man. I am willing to admit however, this program has made me consider taking up tea. In a word... Brilliant!!!
You guys are a perfect example of ultimate function while respecting form. If the auto manufacturers had half of your problem solving skills, I bet .... lost my train of thought. Point is, there should be more folks like you. You're amazing and I love your program!
Eagerly awaiting more Project Binky goodness, just watched all the episodes again, amazing seeing the elite level of craftsmanship, tea and engineering going into this project!

was honestly counting down the hours t watch this. just gets better. suspensions setup was fantastic. "dirty ring piece" & "fricking laser beams" jokes get better!!!
Bad Obsession Motorsport I think you get extra points for not having too many tattoos, unusual facial hair, shouting things like "lets do this" or "hell yeah" and high fiveing. Indeed, neither of you could be mistaken for a member of Limp Bizkit. The only limp biscuits we see are the tea sodden hobnobs present during the brain storming sessions. More points for Britishness. However, what makes this show so brilliant is the combination of dead pan humour, really tight editing and the ability to show and explain the tricky technical stuff without being boring. Oh yes, and the fact that you've taken on something that everyone says can't be done. This isn't just tidying up a car and removing the wing mirrors, this is engineering alchemy.
Binge watching during the corona virus. But it is my second time through. A different experience watching several in the same day instead of waiting a month or two...

I was watching this when my girlfriend sat down with me. Now I've had to watch the whole series again from the beginning. I think she's a keeper.

@@lewisbarlow3293 I guess we will never know.
