Big Mac special sauce: mayo and yellow mustard (2:1) and a splash of dill pickle juice. Voila! You can add some sugar-free ketchup, but I stay away from tomatoes, and it still tastes close enough to Big Mac sauce for me!

If carnivore crisps are out of your budget range, which they certainly are for me as I am in Canada... you can get deli meats cut thin (as thin as you can before its "shaved") and dehydrate! They are amazing and I personally think they taste better than carnivore crisps. You can also season then as you like before dehydrating. Also prepackaged sliced salami/pepperoni etc dehydrates to a perfect chips texture and crunch! Try it out!

Great Idea, Thanks !! Reminds me when I accidently dehydrated fish ( cod, I think it was) on my grill. I was doing something and for got about the grill but that ended up being pretty good.

You are correct … I worked in surgery and for doctors for years. Things I saw have led to a deep distrust in our medical system. Doctors are just as guilty as big Pharma at perpetuating illness on our society. The few doctors like Dr Berry and the others are saving lives even though they have to fight the establishment constantly to do it !

Been eating burger bowls since we started, over 2 years ago. Started with well seasoned ground beef and the lettuce tomato and onion and pickles, cheese and the condiments including mayo, mustard, and ketchup. Now we are happy with onion, pickles, cheese and mustard and sometimes bacon. Love our burger bowls.

Omg this seems so good. I bake patties and just build it with bacon cheese and mustard and ketchup and sprinkle of pork skins and onion powder. Even though it cooks from frozen its still a lot at times so I may try your burger bowls God willing. I know I opened a can of home canned group pork sausage and mixed it with ground beef. It was so different and good but the beef stood out more solid and filling for sure. 👍

This video has helped our budget a lot! We didn't even think of just getting a ton of ground beef, cooking it all up, and then seasoning it how we wanted whenever we wanted to eat it. It also helped with making it easier. I have fibromyalgia and type 2 diabetes (among a whole list of other illnesses) and sometimes the energy to cook is just not there. I can just grab a bowl of the cooked ground beef, add whatever, and eat it. Thank you!!!

Guys if you like Big Macs and are on a low-carb diet, try this recipe! I LOVE IT!!!!! And guys, I know there's no 1000 island dressing? Mac sauce on this, but TRUST THE PROCESS!!! You will LOVE IT! This is my go-to when I'm craving Mcdonald's Big Mac (Which is quite often! LOL!)
    MEAT
    1lb Beef (cooked and drained)
    PRODUCE
    Lettuce (Shredded)
1.5 to 2 tbsp Minced/Dehydrated Onions (THESE ARE CRUCIAL FOR THAT BIC MAC TASTE!!!
    LIQUID
    1/2 cup of boiling water
    CONDIMENTS
2 tbsp Sugar-free Ketchup (I use G. Hughes, hands down the best!)
    2 tbsp Mustard
    1 Large Dill Pickle(Sliced thinly)
    2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
    DAIRY
1 8oz brick of Velveeta (Or any off-brand Velveeta like cheese)
    1 Cup of cheddar (Just enough to sprinkle on top}
    INSTRUCTIONS
Before you start: Put the 1/2 cup of water in microwave and bring it to a slight boil. Take out and pour the Minced/Dehydrated Onions into the water and let sit while you prepare the rest of the recipe. Between
    1. Brown beef (not too crispy) and drain off fat.
    2. While beef is cooking cube Velveeta and heat in a medium saucepan till melted.
    3. Add cooked beef to melted Velveeta, stir till well mixed and melted. Add ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce and stir until combined.
    4. Pour mixture into a 9X13 dish (I found this to be a little big for this recipe, I go with a smaller dish) and top with cheddar cheese.
    5. Drain Minced/Dehydrated Onions and squeeze out excess water with a paper towel. Set aside.
    6. Add a layer of shredded lettuce, sprinkle the onions you have set aside, and top with sliced dill pickle! THAT'S IT! IT'S SOOOOOO GOOD!!!
A friend gave me this recipe and its been a lifesaver for me. Its actually a dip for tortilla chips, but me and my low carb buddies eat it like a casserole or put it on low card buns or wraps, but it is greatt just in a bowl.

    • @LaraeO
      @LaraeO 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Oh, and one more thing, the hamburger mixture alone WILL NOT taste like a Big Mac, It's the combination of everything...it's some sort of Voodoo!! lol!

Firstly, you are looking good Neisha... and, as they say, clearly blooming with your pregnancy :) I'm so grateful for this vlog because I've been desperate to find some super tasty ground beef (we call it 'mince' in the UK) recipes and these have hit the spot. After a good 2 years off Keto (life stresses.. no excuse really, but....), I really want to get back on the Keto wagon this year and I get bored with the plain meat and veg options. My OH is also joining me this time around and he loves his chilli - so its a win win. BTW, love that you don't edit out when your fur babies join.. it's refreshing to see vlogs that are 'real life', if that makes sense.

Great recipes Neisha, I will be trying some of these. Another one I like to make is a hamburger soup or stew, basically substitute the beef tips for ground hamburger.
    -Beef bone broth
    -chopped onion
-chopped red potato (I find these cook faster and easier then regular Idaho potatoes and I only add only 1 small potato to keep the carb count down)
    -chopped carrots
-Add salt and seasoning to your taste preference
Chop up the ground beef to bite size pieces in a frying pan cook until lightly browned, then add it to the stew pot.
Simmer on med heat for about 20 to 30 minutes and serve.
This is a great hot meal for these cold winter days

Eggroll in a bowl I used shredded coleslaw mix to cut down on the work of shredding or cutting it up. I use coconut amino instead of soy sauce and some garlic and onion powder and black pepper. Cool the meat make sure to season it once cooked add the slaw mix and cook the veggies down to your crisp liking
Oh and I love the Siete brand of taco shells and almond flour tortillas. The tortillas are expensive so if you have a Costco card get them there it’s a major deal

We had some fabulous Thai food in Seattle. It was the best Thai food I have ever had, and I spent two months in Thailand. It was super fresh and light. It was not the heavy sauce and noodles I remember.
They used slivers of ginger in my husbands dish. Now I use this when I make my Asian dishes. They also had lettuce so one could make it into a lettuce “taco”. I think it was small Romaine heart leaves like one can get at Costco. It was a crunchy sausage mixture. Now I think I want to try and make a keto version of this week.
My order was chicken skews soaked in coconut milk. It had a small portion of a cucumber and sweet pepper salad pared with it. It was in a sweet brine, so could easily be made with a sweetener to taste.

      What about tostones?!?
My mother-in-law made a Puerto Rican dish with pork feet, tomatoes, green olives, capers, and stewed it until it was gelatinous. She served it over rice...but I started craving it a couple of winters ago and ate it by the bowl full sans rice!!!

I make a ground beef hash with liver minced into ground beef fried with bacon and topped with a couple of eggs. Seasoned with cajun seasoning, black pepper, garlic and of course salt. You never taste the liver. Yum!

Sounds so good! Neisha, you've got to check out Indigo's recent recipe for Egg White Crêpes! Savory or sweet-I was blown away and remembered how much you liked those eggife wraps. These are 100% better! And it's only egg whites and beef gelatin powder. Blew my mind it was so good. Perhaps the easiest and tastiest keto recipe I've ever found in 4 years on keto. Made a BTL yesterday and with one of these and it was divine. You can make with egg white powder, too, but fresh egg whites are just so much fresher tasting.😊

My favourite lately with ground beef. Just fry the ground beef in a pan and then add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of bone broth the add 2 eggs. Put lid on pan till eggs looked cooked. Just yummy! Can add cheese!

Which brand do you use and why do you like it? Also the grease that is caught can that be reused as fat for scrambled eggs? Thank you. I've been using a cast iron skillet for my burgers and I'm really tired of the grease mess.

I wanted a Whopper one day. I actually was sitting in my car, thinking of going through the drive through and ruining my diet, but I realized that I wouldn’t just buy a Whopper, I would need fries along with it. Then, it dawned on me that I could go home and just make myself a Whopper salad by putting hamburger patties in a bowl with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle, with mayonnaise and a touch of ketchup. It tasted great. I did the same, another day, by making a Big Mac salad, with slightly different ingredients.

The last time I ate at McD's I had a double quarter pounder and fries. After I ate this calorically dense meal I felt like I hadn't eaten at all. My stomach was full but I was getting a sense of satisfaction, or being energized. Done with their burgers.
