I hear these are very safe cars. I love how they use the V6 instead of a turbo 4. The only thing I don't like is that they still use timing belt, but I hear that makes it smoother.
Yea very safe and honestly the belt is fine chains have their own set of issues and in most cases more expensive to replace. I think Honda owners are used to swapping the belt every 7 years or 100k miles now

4 months into owning my 2023 honda pilot and absolutely love it. In my opinion, I'm disappointed that it doesn't have the bose stereo system, the heads-up display, and the full digital dash display. Everything else is perfect.

Love the system, just a little distortion on the top end. The bose system helps with that.

Trying to decide between this and the Subaru Ascent for cross-country road trip and camping.
How is the Pilot's real world highway mpg in eco mode?
Also, are the all-terrain tires on the Pilot good for long road trips at 70+ mph, or can they overheat and cause problems?
I'm getting like 22-23 with this trailsport but a regular Pilot will do much better
@@MeynMotorGroup Is the AWD system on the Touring the exact same as that on the Trailsport? That is my main concern, as I will be driving around snow country.
@@sansin6250 no trail sport gets specially tuned AWD its better off road than standard pilot. Its the same AWD system but tuned much better for off road with the Trailsport

I was interested in the Ascent too before I got my 2022 honda pilot, I followed the Ascebt group on facebook and saw that way too many people were having transmission problems with Ascents that were only 2-3 years old and some were brand new, that made me decide to go with the pilit
Is this true? AWD vehicles need to replace all 4 tires if one is replaced? You can't replace Just One but need all four for this? Subaru said so. I've nixed them off my list. My other concern is that Honda's first year of a new-gen vehicle isn't as reliable as Years 2, 3 and so on.
