  • San Diego, CA [VLOG] | Is it worth the drive from Phoenix?!
    In this video Danielle and I make the drive from Phoenix, AZ to San Diego, CA. We will take you on quick little VLOG tour and talk to you about some of the things you should be aware before you make the nearly six hour drive from Phoenix, AZ. San Diego, CA is one my favorite places to go VISIT as Phoenix resident, you just can't beat sitting on the beach with the cool ocean breeze in your face.

    I just stumbled onto your video and I always wonder why not just Arizonan’s but tourists from all over flock to the most crowded beaches in San Diego? North county between Carlsbad and Encinitas there’s tons of parking and between Carlsbad and Leucadia you’re likely to have a stretch of beach all to yourself or close to it. I love welcoming visitors to our beaches. The traffic can get intense but it’s all manageable. Anyways by now you’re both parents which is awesome! Congrats!

    From east valley, Take the 101 s to 202 w then 10 e to the 8, avoid the speed trap 85 through gila bend, avoid the traffic on 10 e through the entire metro area. Gas up at exit 3 yuma,good pit stop ammenities. Know your exits off the 8 approaching san San Diego, traffic moves fast and frequent lane changes. Take a boat ride, eat fish.

    i thought the same thing with going to north carolina. the driving and parking is insane there too and the streets are winding and confusing.

    4:49 She said the traffic and parking in San Diego is awful, lol! I lived in the Phoenix hell hole for twenty years and I can tell you first hand that traffic is 100 times better in San Diego. People actually know how to drive. Also, the people are 100x nicer in San Diego. And San Diego is a paradise, whereas Phoenix is a brown desert and a living hell. Sorry, no offense.

    • @ArizonaInsider
      @ArizonaInsider  ปีที่แล้ว

      The parking is terrible in San Diego, no way around it. Looks like a move to San Diego is in your future!

    • @dzim8822

      @@ArizonaInsider Actually, I moved to San Diego from AZ a year ago. And you are right about the cost of living being sky high here. Parking can me tough in certain areas here, especially on the weekends. But it's legal to park on the street in most of San Diego. In a lot of places in Phoenix street parking is not allowed. Thanks for the video and perspective from a fellow Arizonian. No offense. I just don't like Phoenix. I lived in the Cottonwood-Sedona area for a while and northern AZ isn't too bad.

    Not a fan of CA at all. They can keep their beach, weather, prices, taxes, traffic, and politics. I’ll take the 115 degrees...lol.
