I can't remember when I learned something that helped me forever: comparing yourself to others is pointless. Everyone has a package of things to live, including our looks, education, values, family, experiences, etc. It's up to each one to make the best of our package. Envy for others only reflects poor sight, as we see in other people's lives only what they choose to show us. It's much better to focus on becoming the best version of ourselves and helping others around us reach their best versions, if it's in our hands.
1. Compliment them, appreciate them 2. You are thinking about others just Focus on yourself These two things stuck into my head and makes alot of sense its something which i heard for the first Thank you so much i needed this😊
Thank you for sharing these two things, I believe that we really need to consider these as it helps us to have peace of mind and it really promotes self-care. ❤❤
I love my friends, and even people I don't know very well or anymore. When I see them getting engaged or getting a degree I always like the post and feel happy for them. But it's really bitter sweet when I'm struggling with my mental health. I can't help but think that they had it easier because of their parents financial situation that helped them. Or even just having parents that are emotionally there for you. I never had that from my parents, whatever I was doing was not seen or celebrated... I deleted my Instagram profile today. So this video came at the right time. Hopefully I'll stop feeling like I'm competing in a game where I'm already losing 😔 and I'll focus more on my journey
🧡What a beautiful message. Your point about thinking 'good for her' even if you still feel a bit jealous seems similar to the process of gratitude journaling. At first I was just writing things to be grateful for as a discipline, even if I wasn't FEELING particularly grateful. But just through habit I was able to cultivate a real sense of gratitude in my life. It seems like it might be the same thing with this idea of comparison/jealousy. I had never made that connection before. Lovely video, thank you🧡
Thanks Jillz. I agree everything depends on the mindset. I try not to take everything as a threaten and look at things as an opportunity to learn from others, admire the beauty that sorrounds me, get inspired by and appreciate other life paths different from mine. When I conquer that minset, I feel truly connected to my genuine feminine energy 💖
Memento mori is a very stoic quote and that philosophy has really helped me in life, I don't take the stoic advises nearly as much as I should. This video was super helpful for my mental health - compare less, compliment more, build yourself, and congratulate others for what they have that you want and realize they are living proof that it is possible. I want to find inspiration instead of jealousy in everything. Also, your style skin and hair are stunning always but especially in thus video, this color is so your color. You're always glowing! Thanks for sharing. Women supporting women (and humans supporting humans) is everything.
Thank you so much! Honestly, I absolutely lost my feminine energy and I put myself on disaster for the past 3 years. I'm here to heal myself, to learn to love myself and to grow my self-confidence. I've gone through some of your videos and they are really really helpful🤍
I subscribed because it said 111k subscribers. 111 is my sign from the universe so I feel I was meant to follow you. And 1.1k likes. Plus a picture of an angel came up in an advert at the side of my screen. I am being guided to heal my feminine energy wounds.
Hii, It's been 2 weeks since you posted this but I just want to say thank you so much! As a millenial, I think this is very common to us nowadays, we tend to compare ourselves on everything we see online and then feel bad about it. I am very happy I discovered your channel, you are like a big sister to me. Thank you againn! Love youu❤
I’m definitely not the jealous type and I’m genuinely happy when good things happen to my friends, but I do sometimes let it affect my self esteem negatively. Instagram is really bad for women’s confidence too because the photos we see are always filtered and edited, but then we compare them to our own real appearance.
My worst trap of comparison is comparison with my bf’s ex. Not only on social media but the way he treated her in comparison to me. Even knowing that our kind of relationships are completely different..
Thank you so much for this video! ♥ This is exactly what I needed... Been feeling a bit lost recently and couldn't put myself together to do work and enjoy the life and all I was doing was just checking everyone's social media and thinking how lucky they are that they've got there etc etc. I know there's so much more behind it and we only show the best moments / positive moments there yet I guess I needed one more reminder about it.
Omg!🎉 you are the only and I MEAN THE ONLY TH-camR that makes me feel so good about myself and my life, YOU are so relatable, everytime I see one of your videos I get motivated and comforted, you are medicine to my soul, I think my anxiety is slowly deflating...❤ Thank you so much, Im so glad I found your channel..🙏☺️
I've recently gone through a tough break up and have been struggling a lot with self esteem, your videos and channel have been helping me a lot thank you :)
We sometimes compare ourselves to others in a way that we get intimated by their milestones. But comparing should not always result in feeling jealous about other's achievements it should actually motivate us to do more. Loving this topic as it shows the different side of self-love. XX
Thank you so muchhhhhh 🥺 Honestly your videps helped me so much in my path of working on my mental health. I’m truly and completely into your channel ❤ You’re like an older sister of mine talking to me helping me become better 💋 Thanks againnnn
Tempus Fugit, Memento Mori. Literally Time flies, Remember Death. It's the concept that we have but a moment in this lifetime. To make the most of your life because before you know it you'll be facing death. Live every moment to the fullest because Death is always with you. The idea is to embrace it and take it with you as a loving friend so when your time comes, you can meet Death as a companion instead of spending life resisting and running. It's really deep and beautiful and I'm not even scratching the surface.
This was such helpful video at right moment today Instagram feed really put me in that comparison mood and made me feel so bad about myself I really needed to hear this to put me back into reality ❤️
Hi Jillz, thank you for your videos. I love your vibe an energy. You are so beautiful an I like to watch you an hear you talking. But where did you get the nice necklace? It’s georgeous.
I just found you today and I'm binging all your videos now!! Do you have a podcast? I know some other TH-camrs strip the audio of their videos so they have another format for their content
I don’t really compare myself with hardworking people I compare myself with rich dad’s kids who doesn’t had to anything to achieve or to have bare minimum I compare myself with people who are naturally beautiful not the ones who get work done on their body etc I don’t know if I make sense or not (English is not my first language so please be easy on me )
Hello there I have a question!! Are you explaining us the law of attraction specifically? Or just that having a good intention about your self and others you are most likely to find happiness and spot "open doors" ?
"My friend's husband is much more attractive than mine. She doesn't deserve that. I should leave my husband and steal hers." 10 years later: "Her husband wasn't as awesome as I thought. Now that I've destroyed both of our relationships and am alone I regret that I have to deal with the consequences." Women ☕
Thank you so much for this video Jillz. I really needed to hear this today. I loved the bit at the end with the inner dialogue of the tulip 🌷 that made me laugh but it's so true. Some of us are tulips, others are Lilies, some are roses but we are all beautiful because we are unique.

right video at the right time. not being jealous is a full-time mental job these days, even when you are a very lucky person. thank you Jillz
😘😘
" A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms."
I love this qoute, fits the tulip analogy😊

Comparing yourself to others can be pretty toxic. Thanks for the video, Jill. We hope you continue to do things you love most.

Utter bullshit. You don't need to shift your mindset to be happy for anyone. That's so fake. It's lying to yourself.
