Jill, you are amazing. I go to psychotherapy and everything you say coincides with the work pattern that I do with a therapist. In fact, we have three characters in our selves - the sensitive child, the critical parent, and ourselves as a mature adult. This "higher authority" you were talking about is an adult, this six-year-old girl is a vulnerable child. The exercises they do with the therapist oscillate around working and communicating with these characters. Not only that, what you are talking about - bad thoughts or fears that need to be silenced and just let them flow - sometimes during a therapy session they are supposed to enter into a conversation with our "adult". Thus, last week in therapy, my "adult" told me to leave the "bad thought". These exercises and psychotherapy are amazing and have amazing results. I am writing about it because everything you say on the channel is actually good in terms of content and coincides with exercises from specialists. As you well know, each of us here loves you as a person and it would be nice to have such a friend :) but also thank you (or thank you?) for the fact that you prepare a great content!!! PS: Girls, everything Jill talks about works. To work!
PS: kisses from Poland, as usuall :)

Love this! Also, I wanted to add the importance of neutrality. I’m at a “neutral” state, meaning I can no longer stand saying terrible things to myself, being around negative people or watching/listening/consuming unhealthy things but I can’t fully say that I love myself yet. Going from self hate to a neutral state is already a huge step. Getting there!

As a person whose love language is giving and receiving gifts, another toxic trait I can guarantee we have, is not feeling good enough to receive any gifts... and this could be really anything, even food. The exact opposite of overspending.

I know I need to be compassionate and accepting towards myself. I push myself so hard and I feel so bad especially when I get this feeling that I'm about to cry because I've pushed myself so hard. But I feel like if I don't treat myself with this military mentality I'm never going to change and people are just going to walk all over me. Maybe that's just my inner child that had constantly felt disrespected and mistreated by others. But yeah it's just hard to love someone like me because I literally feel like the worst person to be alive.

I really love all of your videos, they have been very helpful. Your comment about loving yourself but staying at a job that makes you want to rip your eyes out really spoke to me. I have been in a service job for about 2 years now, I work 50 hours a week. It can be really draining and I just get so irritated all the time even though the job I do is simple. I would always get so upset with myself because of how angry I would get at work or how irritated I would be and that feeling wouldn't really go away throughout the week or even really on my days off because I'd just be thinking about work. That this was just really who I was, a angry person who wasn't soft or feminine. But I recently had a week off work due to a surgery and I finally was able to get back into my feminine energy, I felt so calm and soft, I wasn't upset with myself and I was really feeling great. I don't think I would have been able to identify that or even believe it wasn't anything other than me just being a bad person without watching your videos. I really appreciate your videos :)

Hi Jillz and all women that watch Jillz's videos! I'm going to share my story. More or less a year ago, I went through something that showed me that I had to take much more better care of myself. So, I started doing meditation and reflection exercices. My two favorite were exactly speaking to my 8 yr old version and also to my highest self version, and this helped me so much... Meanwhile, during all my life I've been struggling with extra weight, and each time I went on diet, I through to myself that once I got to my losing weight goal I would buy myself a bunch of nice clothes.
Meanwhile, in the beginning of the summer, I started watching your videos and you nspired me to start taking care of myself regardless of how much extra weight I have. I bought a bunch of beautiful clothes that fit my body the way it is now, and I think I've never felt this beautiful even when I was in my best weight. Recently, I've focusing in your videos related to cycle sync and I've been doing some extra research. And today is my first day after holidays, so no mote exvuses to have bad food 😂 so now, I think that I'll be probably start to lose weight but also focusing first of all in my health. And today, my language of love towards myself was watching this video and feeling very happy for myself from thinking how far I've come and imagining how further I will in a close future. Thank you so much Jillz for sharing such important knowlege and your love with all of us!❤❤❤

Just yesterday I was feeling like I was inadequate and not good enough because I kept comparing myself to other women, so much so that I had to ask my boyfriend if he found me pretty and to be a good person. He said he did and that I needed to get out of that self hatred cycle I had because it wasn't doing me any good. I need that constant validation of being "good enough" and I admit I get jealous of other girls, and that comes from my childhood because I felt like I "never fit in", specially because I was never stereotipically feminine. I have always asked him for constant validation as to who I am and he tells me I need to get out of that cycle of dreading, but it's hard to. I am sure this video will help me out a lot because you are a great content creator with a lot of insight. Thank you!

I can totally relate. And although I was always seen as pretty and feminine, I still feel the same way. Much better since I do therapy but I've been feeling like this my whole life, so you're not alone and it doesn't matter the way you look, the thing is people can tell us we're pretty, cool, etc but it actually does not make us feel full because only we can fill that "hole" within us, in fact we want us to validate ourselves, not other people. Since we don't do it, we seek outside.
Hope you're feeling better now and starting to look at you the way you are: a beautiful human being, no matter what you look and the mistakes you think you made.
And yes there are women that may look better than you and me but have you ever asked yourself if they love themselves?
Because doesn't matter if they look like models, that doesn't mean they have a healthy, loving and accepting relationship with them.
So don't compare, people look at me and think I'm pretty and must have a wonderful life and I don't. I'm not that perfect as I show. And it's not like I perform fake but I won't be open and vulnerable with anyone, so I won't show my not so good side if I don't trust them. So is every girl out there that seems to have a great life. And If you're talking about the body shape itself, maybe she looks perfectly fit but maybe she's on a diet constantly and doesn't love herself at all.
And those girls we think are pretty and actually have a great life and actually love themselves, well, we shouldn't compare, we can be inspired by them to take more care of ourselves coming from a place of love and self acceptance. 😊

Now that's a perfect video for me! I've been struggling with loving myself for the most of my life. I mean, I do express love to myself in some ways or at least imagine how a proper self-love should feel like, but these tips are reminders of how to love myself even more.
I can especially relate with the tip of imagining your younger self deserving love or older self giving love that you need. Earlier in my life I had this little RPG in my head where I imagined how my "better" or "higher" self would take care of my "younger" self. That was the only way of realizing what kind of love I really need.

this video is so accurate! At rock bottom I somehow changed my perspective, it just clicked... and so far in this journey the most important thing has been to be patient, to understand that it's not linear, it takes time and sometimes you will slip or it will be an active effort... but slowly, it will start to flow in your life ❤and it makes all the difference on your day to day, so keep going, one step at a time 🌼

I love your video as usual. However i have a dilemma. I am compassionate by nature, but i often wonder if it is a good things when people are bad to me. Just to give a recent example: my neighbour come to fix a leak in my apartment. One hour later the leak was worse, he never came back to fix it and had to call someone else and also found out that my neighbour overcharged me in the first place. This is just one of the many ..... So how can we be compassionate with so many dishonest people in the world ?

    • @ConspicuousCreation
      @ConspicuousCreation ปีที่แล้ว

I have a similar issue. I try to be compassionate with the world, and it’s easy to build up that feeling when I have my bubble of trusted people and interact with random people relatively infrequently. However, I’ve found that it hits me so hard because I’m ultimately hoping people will treat me how I treat them (or, if I’m being honest with myself, hopefully even better than what I can do 😂). It’s finding that separation that all these people in world are in different places in life, hold different values, and just are having different days and circumstances than myself. When I look at it more as just trying to put forward an example of what I view as my highest good, and practice that as something that - when I look back on the day - I can feel good about, then it makes the response feel less personal. If I accidentally hurt someone in that pursuit (which is usually because I’m not putting my energy in the right place anyway), then I feel incredibly sad that I affected someone else’s day like that. But, it’s then again finding that self love and being like, “Well, I was tired/ got bad news / was hungry / ect when I spoke or acted shortly. What can I do to better regulate myself next time in that circumstance?” And it gets better and less hurtful to that other person in each future fumble with that active effort.
With that mindset, someone else doing something hurtful is more of a “Oh man, well that sucks that they’re in that place rn. Hopefully they can also do better next time in a new situation.” Most people are just trying their best, and it sometimes just doesn’t work out they way they or you hope.

    Some key notes 🌷
    - Self hate is unsustainable, Self love creates healty, lasting results
    - Hate your habits, not the essence of yourself
    1. Connect with the feeling of love by giving it to other beings
    2. Practice your love languages towards yourself
    3. How would your kind 80-year old self talk to your current self?
    4. What would your highiest self do now?
    5. Do not react to negative self talk to eliminate it
    6. Physical health for mental wellbeing
-Love yourself through all of the stages of the process
Still watch the video, very explanatory, calming and healing 🩷

Do you ever guys struggle with that feeling or voice in your head that tells you that you're too old for something ? Like I'm trying to get over my personal disorder in some way (therapy, YT coaching etc) and sometimes when I think that I finally found my personal style of dressing the voice says I'm too old for it, and that people will tell me that, etc. and I'm happy I've found something I truly like but I don't know what to do about the feeling of being "too old" for something. And I know that maybe it is a bit "too childish" (not literally kids clothes, but I don't really see any girls my age dressing with many colours, wearing hair pins etc) but also it makes me happy to dress that way. Any advices on how to stop this voice telling me to "act my age" (28) . I'd love a video about it I there's any 🙏🏻🥹

I'm currently doing a 75 day detox disciplinary plan. Every single day for 75 days I've to eat up to 3 pieces of fruit, do 1 hour of exercise outdoors, 30 mins of exercise indoors (yoga, dance workout, pilates, swimming pool), 1 productive activity such as mop floors, deep clean, reorganise shelves etc, 1 creative activity i.e painting, sketching, journaling, read 15 pages of a book, write 3 things I'm grateful for before I go to bed, and drink 3 litres of water. Every single day. And if I break any of these, I need to start back at day 1 again. I only started last week and so far I've had to restart to day 1 twice, but I am determined to do my 75 days and prove to myself that I can be disciplined and nourish my body, mind and soul. 💗

But none of them are about just simply maintaining the body we have right now and feeling active.
    Btw, great video❤️

I already do most of what you mention ❤ the love language and granny tips were a wow thing, it made so much sense.
When I was skinny, normally fit, I was so sick and unhappy, I hated myself then. I can't say I fully love myself because I'm still learning to, to eat well, to exercise, to take care of myself. But now I know that all is coming from a place of love, self acceptance and validation.
Thank you Jillz, you're amazing ❤

Its incredible you are so smart you know about the Higher Self. Yes I met her and she speaks to me. That teaching about old version of my self looking at me with love was so useful!! ❤

As someone who eats healthy and exercises a lot, this is so true. I love myself and only want the best for my body + brain. Getting here is a lil hard, but once you do there’s no turning back! It’s worth it. I hope the girlies reading this find it too 😊
