This was surprisingly right. Rey's training was unfinished. Rey was seduced by Kylo Ren. And Kylo Ren did kill Luke in an epic lightsaber battle at the end of the movie. The Rey one does make a lot of sense. If it's not a big twist that Kylo was lying to Rey about her parents (or that he just didn't correct her when she was wrong), then props to MatPat for coming up with a good alternative story.
(Spoilers) Game theory: Rey's parents are nobodies who sold her at a young age because they're jerks! That's sure to bring in the views and entertain millions of people. Game theory: Luke returns to the force because he's at peace! Brilliant theory! The stuff that works in the movies wouldn't make good theories. They're unpredictable and can't be done. I personally think MatPat's theories are actually the most logical explanation to what's genna happen, especially the Rey's parents one. The movies weren't bad for not doing it, just took a different route which was so unexpected that nobody could predict it.
If you guys are wrong, you must spend an entire day in public pretending to be a Jedi/Sith. The stuff that works in the movies wouldn't make good theories. They're unpredictable and can't be done. I personally think MatPat's theories are actually the most logical explanation to what's genna happen, especially the Rey's parents one. The movies weren't bad for not doing it, just took a different route which was so unexpected that nobody could predict it.
