    That's not a pillion seat. Thats a seatcowl.

      Yes, very true. It is sold with a pillion seat that can replace said seat cowl.

    I recently got one my2023 and it is a beast. Coming from a cross plane crank on the MT-10, I love the v4 sound of the Aprilia more. The QS only works on higher than 3k rpm - it even turns orange to tell you it is not working below that.

      I did the same and I would have to say that the Tuono is in a different league to the MT-10 (I had the SP model as well). I'll be buying another Tuono not another Yamaha.

    Side to side varies with your stabilizer setting. I dial mine to near off to limit its effect. Remember on the Ractory it is ALSO controlled by computer. You are best to set thing up in "user" to you and your weight.
    M1 dial that in for rebound / compressoin F/R, then add a smidgeon for accel/decel and turning. Now that I'm typng this I can't recall if you have them in M1, but A1 you do. I have dialed in mine and use A1 95% of the time. If I doubt the settings are working for me. I selected M1 and see how those proper settings feel for the road and speed I am going on. My M1 is slightly stiffer but it has to be more all around than the computer with gyro's to adj on the fly.
    I never use Tour most and only played with Sport, then felt it to limiting as weel.
    REMEMBER when dialing in your M1-3 if you use them all. the NUMBERS are turns OUT. The higher the number the more you in standard forks gone CCW to turn out (As Dave Moss would day) "open the tap)
    People review bikes but never take the time to learn them, before opinion. Anything under a 1000 miles and you haven't learned the bike, the computer, nothing. Then give 'thoughts' on it.
    Gears 1, 2 are down-throttled, aka, de-tuned or less HP to keep the HP from looping the bike and to manage AWC to somethign that can be managed.

    That is not the rear seat. Its a cowel. The rear seat it comes with is very big actually. It replaces that cowel if u desire.

    It *is* the best sounding engine, always has been since the original 1000cc version.
    Also, the not being able to cruise in 6th at 30mph is a V4 thing in my experience. Ride a Honda VFR platform bike and its exactly the same, will chug like hell if you go above 3rd at that kind of speed.

      @@newbieriderreviews yeah I found the throttle a bit choppier and hunts a little, at a constant opening. Gearbox not quite as nice either. But that noise!! I'd have one as a second bike, just for that noise!!

    Smiles for miles, Mike! Great ride and edit! Let me ask, if you could trade your Hockenheim S1000R, straight up for this, would you???? The sound alone is incredible, let alone the styling and characteristics of a V4

    • @newbieriderreviews
      @newbieriderreviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your comment, however given the chance, I dont think I would you know! The sound of this is amazing for sure but I just love how the S1000R rides and feels. Once I got comfortable on the Tuono I was OK with it being smaller but I definitely felt at home instantly on the BMW.

    IMU screens don't really matter......once you set them up your done.....if you go to track you have a setting for that but yeah, you don't really have to mess with them much......

    • @newbieriderreviews
      @newbieriderreviews  ปีที่แล้ว

      Very true of course. Once you know what you like they're set for the most part. But it's always a big bonus when they're more user friendly. It doesn't matter to all but to some its a big buying point being able to understand and interpret the IMU's easily.

    Excellent motorcycle and great video! Have the exact same bike myself and have been looking for some sweet bar-end mirrors to go with it. Really liking the ones on this bike! Could you please ask your friend what brand and model they are? Would appreciate it!
