Il disegno è molto preciso, nella fase di unione dei pezzi coincide tutto perfettamente. Unica cosa che non mi sembra molto sicura è il fissaggio dell'annello a D. il fatto che la pelle viene tagliata in mezzo rende il fissaggio poco sicuro, visto che ho un cane che tira molto ho fatto una modifica al pezzo di fissaggio. Per il resto, complimenti, fate una cosa molto buona rendendo i vostri modelli pubblici.

Hi. Thank you for sharing this project. Harness looks great. Just thinking is leather a good fabric for harness, how it will behave after heavy rains ?
I don’t do leatherwork, but I do have a large, 81lb. dog that’s a puller, and he has escaped his harnesses before. He’s figured out how to wear down nylon straps on otherwise sturdy, “escape proof” harnesses. Especially those adjustable clip style straps.
That’s a very sturdy, well planned out harness! If instructions are followed to a t and stitches are tight and secure like how you demonstrate in the tutorial, I don’t see how a dog could pull out of it. Those sturdy buckle straps are perfect for pullers!
I also love the addition of a poop bag! That’s one less accessory to carry around! Though I would be tempted to add a large hole grommet in the design for threading poop bags through.
Any plans for making a leash tutorial? Maybe a leash with a padded traffic handle built in, or a leash set with two sizes? And a treat pouch?
This harness makes me sad I don't have a dog, but I am working through my checklist to qualify and get pre-approved for a veteran's home-buyer mortgage.... then look out! In my foreseeable future, meaning by June 2022, I will, however be the proud owner of a Maine Coon kitten, who I already plan to leash and harness train to be an adventure kitty. That cat, which breed averages over 20 pounds up to about 35 pounds, will surely look gallant and snazzy in this harness. As will future dog.

I have just one question for now, if you can answer.... Wenn Do you use one piece of thread for such long stitches, or do you join several of them to continue the row. Because it is difficult to work with two or three meters of thread in your hands. It seems to me that in the video you did not cut enough thread to finish the entire seam. Or is it just for convenience in the video. Thank you for your answer. And I wish you much success..

Tried using 4 oz veg tan for this. It's looking like it might still work, but the poop bag attachment is way too stiff and I can barely get the strap under the holder. It might be fine to use veg tan on the top piece and maybe back it with something more pliable, like the leather Tony is using in the video. I used veg tan so I could tool and dye it.
i think you said to use Latigo veg tan , its pretty costly, other suggestion?

Thinking of making one of these for my sister's dog. Would tooling the main part of the harness weaken the overall strength of the harness (strong and large doggie). If so, should I move up to a heavier weight of leather? B TW ... love the videos and patterns.

My poodle has a 29 in chest so I chose the medium pattern.
I need to set my printer to 103% to make the test pattern measure correctly.
Now the pattern runs off the printed page!! The outside edge of the pattern and the sewing holes are missing.
Can I take the large pattern and shrink it (don't think so!). A
