Thanks, I have been in a creative doldrum lately and not getting much done, this pattern helped get me back to working on the leather again.

That is a slick project, Tony. I'd love to see a "briefcase" or "messenger bag" version of this.

TONY!!! Awesome, Awesome build!!! Imagine this, and why not, whats one or two more holes, Mini Accordion on the front pocket!! Woah, i think my hand just cramped at the thought :) I like that you are showing the permanent marker for your edges. I use colored Sharpies (permanent markers) myself. never had any problems or complaints. Thanks Tony, this will make an amazing gift for Christmas.

You (and the other Romanian pattern designers that I see on youtube) are all very talented. It is a very underrated skill to design a bag that makes sense and works both functionally and structurally, is not too complicated to build, AND looks good. I am against round holes in bags, because technically you are removing leather and this makes the bag a little weaker at the seams. But I understand why you have to do it, because if you used stitching chisels sooner or later you'd have to deal with reversed angles and reverse prongs and it just gets too difficult to explain to the customer. Also how much structural strength does someone really need? these are really fashion bags, not safety equipment. Anyway, well done again, I really enjoy your work!

What is a good Dremel burnishing tip? I have a couple and they are horrible. Any suggestions? Both for thin and thick leather.

Tony I'm not sure if the hardware for this alpha bag is listed in the Etsy shop - unless it is the same kit as for the backpack .

What are the things called that you hold the leather pieces together while hand stitching? I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Is the main pocket large enough to hold A4 and/or U.S. Letter size sheets of paper? Can't tell the dimensions of the pocket; the Etsy shop dimensions look like they are for the outer edges.

I think I’ll just use a big gusset to replace all the accordion pieces. The rest of the bag is pretty simple. I don’t want to spend the rest of my life stitching!!!!!

suit yourself but the accordion gusset is what's special about this bag
