Thank god i bought a Ics Cxp uk1 and installed an maxx hop-up + piston head / cylender-head / nozle and maple leaf bucking pdi barrel shoots fantastic now also did a complete rewiring so i could fit my mosfet in my uksr stock i just love their split gearbox design so easy to work with

I’m sure everyone would be interested in seeing parts lists for every video you do. Lambda makes different grade barrels with different bores, tolerances, etc. so knowing which one you used here would serve as a consumer check to Lambda. Also, knowing what motor, gears, springs, mosfets, etc. would be useful for viewers looking to mimic aspects of your builds that they would want, and even avoid certain things that caused you issues, like this Lambda paired with the rest of the internals.
Ghostwalker Airsoft Tech only reason i ask, is because myself, and my girlfriend are running omega nubs with maple rubber, and both are having their barrels fully jammed, when i put it on just over half hop. Is that normal?? Like the results are great, but it still doesn’t seem quite right
@@liambrown4214 hard to say what's wrong without seeing it. But generally ml hop rubbers dont require much hop at all depending on what hardness aka degree you are using. Could also be your bbs. If you back off the hop 100% and just give it a little does it still jam? What gun are you running it in..what inner barrel are you using? There are a whole number of variables to check when it comes to troubleshooting hop problems.
I couldn't agree with you more about Lambda Barrels. I just unwittingly bought one for the first time and immediately began having problems. I discovered that the slots for the C-Clip are very slightly out of spec and the barrel was sitting too far back into the Hop unit, causing the bucking lip to protrude too far into the feed chute, thus blocking the smooth feeding of BB's from the magazine and bad cycling/FPS.
The stock.os easy the shoulder but I had to wrap those 2 metal bars completely with a valken scarf I cut. Then I was able to aim down my red dot sight. It is comfortable but it isn't at the same time. I am gonna get the tarran tactical ar buffer tube adapter so I can aim down my sights easily.
I feel like all VFC has to do to at least improve the feel on the right side selectors is add the little ball bearing and spring plus notches for the ball. Obviously, improved meshing of the cogs would be the true fix, but the ball and spring is already present on the left side..
I own a Cybergun/VFC MCX, the first one with a keymod rail. Funnily enough, it works fine with an M120. All I had to do was get the piston body replaced with something more reliable, get the front wiring fitted properly/reinforced that it doesn't interfere with the magwell, and it feeds almost anything except my PTS magazines.
I can guarantee you're getting tons of overspin with an 11.1 and the automatic active breaking was cooking the motor. Short stroking and a bigger spring would have made an 11.1 work just fine. I will always turn off active breaking and check for double cycling when installing a Titan. Hell all of my personal guns are just built with active breaking turned off entirely and have natural precocking from the light overspin. Much better for the motor.

@@Fernando-ry5qt usually yes. If you've done it enough times it shouldn't take very long. Each tooth is typically 10-15 fps so it's pretty easy to ballpark. Maybe 30-45 mins tops. I don't really do it much anymore I usually use 13:1 or 12:1 gears with a 22 TPA motor which seems to be pretty happy with most springs and super snappy response on semi.
I love love love the 2 tone MCX in .300blk. Integrated suppressor with an EoTech 👌😩 If I ever get a SigAir MCX... it's going to Luke before it leaves the box 😂😂😂😂😂
Considering your knowledge in AR15 platforms, would you like to extend some knowledge regarding magwells not being tight enough to properly feed every single bb from a mag? (Magazine seems a little bit wobbly, and it feeds fine when its held tight, nozzle lenght and hop-up is checked, nothing wrong there.) Was just wondering if you got some brilliant solution before i slap in some velcro tape in the magwell :P
I just watched this video for a third time just for some reference points but I was able to work on vfc mcx and put in a polarstar fusion engine with a maxx hopup unit and prometheus 6.03 inner barrel and replace the out barrel with a g&p tapered 3" with an adapter from 14+ to 14- then extended one more inch followed by a acetech light bt and finally a midwest industries 6inch rail so its now one of the first and few airsoft sig rattlers

Had an absolute ball ache with the shit warranty process. Now have a replacement fitted with exactly the same parts as before working fine, so maybe just a lemon??? I still don't think they are worth costing as much as they do. So next time I'll just get a warfet (if there's ever any stock).
Lambda barrels can be temperamental and mostly they are best used in sniper builds. Barrels for aegs you can't go wrong with Edgi, PDI, prometheus. However a lot of folk don't size their barrels to the cylinder volume so they don't reap the benefits of a good quality barrel.
Hey Negative, What would you say say are good alternatives to VFC for the price. I've heard some good (and bad) things about E&L and G&G has, as you and Reddit have pointed out, parts that are made of cheese and need to be changed from the get go.
The two companies believe are good alternatives are G&P and ICS, G&P are known to have some of the best externals like vfc but without the bells and whistles inside their gearboxes (still really strong as umbrella armories posted a video of them doing continuous full auto a stock g&p under a high powered battery). ICS on the other hand people I know had good experiences with them, and even if something breaks their split gearbox makes working on them a breeze
AR, but to be honest good QA and parts are platform independent. AKs seem to be easier to build (tooling up for even a real AK is relatively simple) but a lot of airsoft manufacturers seem to always fall short when it comes to QC. I also have heard good things about ICS and people in the field I play at do use them a lot but G&P is virtually unobtainable in Eastern Europe. Also, I have some ideas on either a BREN or ASAR-15 to represent slavness (the Airsoft Systems factory/office is in Sofia where I live)
Hey Negative just want to let you know their is only one way to get rid of the Gate Titans beeping when you put the battery in. You need to either pay for the advanced settings or you buy the advanced titan version. That is what I did for mine and it gave me a option for that. Though I would share some knowledge with you and everyone else who watches your videos.
Bought a longer inner barrel from lambda and mine works absolutely fine too. I’ve had a maple leaf on it and opened the gun up a fair amount for almost a year with no issues yet. Maybe it’s a qc issue, idk.
My stock split in half and the Pic rail on the stock chipd. And this s after i used it for 1 game!? I’m am royally pissed off. And asking for a full refund!
those lambda barrels or for super nich builds and garbage for the rest. their really for 1j mid weight bb hpa builds and even then theres much better option, but with an amplifyer they sound dope. with an aeg with a ported cylinder your gonna have a bad time. the hop windows are dum tho
@Dark Code Nah, I've had severe issues with Prometheus barrels, I like Madbull steel barrels these days. They have at least as good bore quality and the hop-up window isn't machined by a half blind toddler.
My labmda worked fine for my striker (I got the 6.08) but it's not a huge difference from my crazy jet, so I'll end up going back to the crazy jet just because it'll be more efficient as I'm swapping the the bolt m from spring Also, I fitted a Titan for a friend's mcx, so I feel your pain 😂

They're not wank at all. They're a bugger to take apart and put back together and the ambi selector is wobbly but the gun itself is solid and very responsive
Not really, it’s way to small. Edit: yeah no way that is a rc car battery. That amp output is way way to small... Plus, there is no such thing as a battery made for brushless motors...
@@opairsoft8100 how is it too small I use a smaller battery on a 230 size helicopter. The C rating allows for less resistance on battery pack allowing a more consistant voltage under load. For motor. The motor then works hardrr than recomended and increasing heat and thereforre increasing resistance. The reason high C rated batteries are used for brusless motors is due to the fact they dont have brushes thus allowing for a higher rpm and create less heat within motor. A DC motor by its design will produce heat through friction and resistance etc. I am an electrical engineer I would not recomend a 20c battery on a airsoft DC motor.
@@rodneytrotter2643 How come I don't have issues with batteries that can supply nearly 100 amps continously in my AEG's then? The motor only pulls as much as it needs, limiting motor performance by deliberately using an under powered battery will just shorten the life span of the battery and can potentially cause it to over heat. The statement "I would not recomend a 20c battery" amkes me doubt that you're actually an electrical engineer, because if you were you'd know that that statement has zero meaning.
Buy a set of ball headed Allen screws. Less chance of stripping them when you got your drill all cockeyed in there. I get why you like torx, but there’s nothing wrong with Allen heads if you’ve got a good wrench.
MCX I don’t think looks terrible... thought it was a downgrade from the SIG 550 series though and the look doesn’t fit as well as it does on the MPX either which is a shame because there isn’t an Airsoft MPX :c
I know exactly how you feel with the tech problems I get mad at guns because the makers of the guns just suck! and sometimes you can be that gentle to get certain things off

500 bucks for the rear to crack like a krytac? No thank you. I've had both the cyber gun (same oem just cheaper and its 1st gen) And the vfc mcx (exact same crap, just the rail is mlok)
fyi....I put a half inch riser between the stock and the gun body. This basically removes the weak point. I have two of the original Cyber gun variant, and both have cracked where the stock meets the body. fyi 2.0....the second gun is a parts gun. You'll need one when you bend your outer barrel 😤. Proprietary has major drawbacks.

I'm kinda shocked to hear you say this about Lambda barrels. I have a 6.01 Lambda in my TK45c. I've changed the hop when I put it in, and I changed it again with a Prometheus hop a little later and never had the problem you have. Gun shoots like a dream. Not saying you're wrong, I just don't get whats goin on.

The MCX is one of the most visually appealing rifles Sig has ever made. That thing is damn gorgeous especially in 300 blackout and a short barrel.

When you fit your maple leaf rubbers, do you use a standard nub, or an omega nub??
Omega nub..the maple leaf is a system to be used with the omega nubs or you can make your own.

What barrel should I go for if not Lambda? Guys over on reddit told me that the Lambda would be good. Should I go PDI or maybe something else?

@@opairsoft8100 how is it too small I use a smaller battery on a 230 size helicopter. The C rating allows for less resistance on battery pack allowing a more consistant voltage under load. For motor. The motor then works hardrr than recomended and increasing heat and thereforre increasing resistance. The reason high C rated batteries are used for brusless motors is due to the fact they dont have brushes thus allowing for a higher rpm and create less heat within motor. A DC motor by its design will produce heat through friction and resistance etc. I am an electrical engineer I would not recomend a 20c battery on a airsoft DC motor.
@@rodneytrotter2643 How come I don't have issues with batteries that can supply nearly 100 amps continously in my AEG's then? The motor only pulls as much as it needs, limiting motor performance by deliberately using an under powered battery will just shorten the life span of the battery and can potentially cause it to over heat.
The statement "I would not recomend a 20c battery" amkes me doubt that you're actually an electrical engineer, because if you were you'd know that that statement has zero meaning.
Buy a set of ball headed Allen screws. Less chance of stripping them when you got your drill all cockeyed in there.
I get why you like torx, but there’s nothing wrong with Allen heads if you’ve got a good wrench.

How do you shim the "auto shimming" gears that comes with VFC? Do you just leave the springs in the shafts?
Replace them. Get modify ones and shim it yourself

MCX I don’t think looks terrible... thought it was a downgrade from the SIG 550 series though and the look doesn’t fit as well as it does on the MPX either which is a shame because there isn’t an Airsoft MPX :c

The MCX is actually an intensely functional rifle in actuality. I own one and it's fantastic.

fyi....I put a half inch riser between the stock and the gun body. This basically removes the weak point. I have two of the original Cyber gun variant, and both have cracked where the stock meets the body.
fyi 2.0....the second gun is a parts gun. You'll need one when you bend your outer barrel 😤. Proprietary has major drawbacks.

I'm kinda shocked to hear you say this about Lambda barrels. I have a 6.01 Lambda in my TK45c. I've changed the hop when I put it in, and I changed it again with a Prometheus hop a little later and never had the problem you have. Gun shoots like a dream. Not saying you're wrong, I just don't get whats goin on.
