Love the videos. New to airsoft. Bought an “evil” Krytac for my first gun. Figured I wanted something that just worked. Been happy with it but now wish I would have bought a CYMA or Specna E. Picked up an A&K ACR CQB for my first “project” gun. Infinity 30k (warhead was OOS). Lonex compression (type 2 cyl). 13:1 EMG gears. Perun V2 hybrid (front wired). M120 variable wound spring. Running a Titan 11.1 3000mah 16C. Couple questions for the comments crowd if anyone has time for it: Worried about the Lonex piston on these gears (blue with 10 steel teeth) the pickup is plastic. What do you guys think? It’s short stroked to 12 teeth on the sector so wondering if I should have gotten the type 3 cylinder? Is it a big deal? How in the unholy Rob Zombie hell do you shim the bevel to pinion (motor height) without a removable grip motor housing? Shim the box for gear to gear then just adjust the motor by sound and hope it’s got “good enough” pinion to bevel engagement?? If anyone reads all this dribble, thanks for any suggestions!! Hey bro, for motor height, there should be a screw that stands out from the others you can loosen or tighten until you find the sweet spot (I would recommend reading up a bit because I’m not 100% sure)
I'm sorry to say the pickup tooth of that piston is gonna break sooner rather than later. You´re running a pretty fast setup, and since it´s short stroked the amount of force each indiviadual tooth has to stand is a bit more than what's standard.

Hello theree, That 16C on that motor with that Mah of 3000 has decent chance to burn your battery. Since the motor is good by itself, you'd rather want to change one of two things. Either take a lower Mah battery or even better. Take a higher C raing one. 30C should be safe even if you decide to break your finger on semi
@@ruslandramchev3126 not really true. Mah has no effect on the gun. It's just the gas tank. It can be 6000 mah and it will perform the exact same as an 1100 mah. The C rating should stay 15-25 on stock AEGs or risks harming the MOSFET or fuse way too soon.
Their High Speed line is essentially the same gearbox minus the mosfet. I might pick up an AK74u myself so I can sell the cyma standard one I have already
I'm pretty happy with my Cyma SR47. In Germany you get a retailer specific ETU(not as fancy as a Gate Titan, but totally fine) instead of the Cyma one and all I had to do was changing the hop rubber. Rest ist perfect for 300,- €.
Awesome video, I just took apart my platinum v2 and the piston head is scratching the cylinder. It is only on the bottom and is scratched the entire travel of the piston. I was hoping for some insight.

Is the nozzle you replaced with just standard v2 M4? I have a platinum MP5 with some mods to it snd I wasn’t sure putting in a 22.25 nozzle would do the trick.
KRYTAC I’m fuckin proud of ya, don’t lose the spring and bearing under the selector gear like my dumbass did twice. I found her sweet spot for shims, threw in (you can hate me) a gate Titan, and tienly 35k, and she been good to me
Krytac has done me nothing but good, but I don't upgrade. Mine has been stock for almost a year with 0 problems on the field or plinking. Love mine. It's so fun to see Neg bash them though, I enjoy his shit talking 😅
Hey neg, since you've been inside and outside pretty much every gun on the planet so you know a compatible upper with a golden eagle mcr lmg lower? I've tried looking for metal uppers but can only find plastic ones that won't work.
When it comes to the nub, barrel, bucking and chamber, what are the characteristics that you think lead to the tightest groups/best accuracy? I've experimented with a ton of different buckings and R-hop styles as well as barrels and barrel improvements in a few different guns, and I'm still not quite happy with my results overall.
Don't forget that its a airgun firing a plastic projectile. BB weight must be taken in consideration too, 0.28 and up is you best bet of having consistency
@@SiliconeSword Round projectiles or BBs are inherently inaccurate. That's why you never see them in real guns or competition airguns. Unless airsoft moves away from BBs to pellets, which is highly unlikely, good accuracy at range isn't going to be easy to get sadly. Accuracy is based on consistency so to build an accurate airsoft gun you'd need to make sure the BB moves the same way through the system every time. This would be really hard to do and pretty much impossible since the BB can engage in different places in the hopup every time for example. If you want to get decent accuracy in an AEG for cheap I'd recommend maple leaf barrels and buckings, especially the diamond bucking with an omega nub. That one is doing wonders for me. Just don't have too high expectations of accuracy when it comes to airsoft.
@@MrMister_ Besides, building the gun to be ''accurate'' is a fools errand if you are nonstop fingerfucking the trigger that making sure not a single shot is properly aimed. God forbid additional 1m/s blow of wind if playing outdoors, or a blade of grass in the way, or not having a rock steady stance..... Hitting human torso sized targets is plenty enough at least IMO, especially for AEG's.
That mk47 is lacking in semi and full and its brand new :/ ? My mk18 krtac build is old as fuck bevel gear was the only thing i replaced and the old ass motor still running used 9.6 on it and 7.4 lion i dont meed a stupid fast semi or full auto but my krytac hasent had issues with both lvoa front on and mk18 barrle and rail installed 9.6 or 14 to 16 it shots about the same range wise but iv seen shit krytacs out the box broken or not working so i know at times every krytac can lack alot of things andmother times like in my case never jad to do shit but replace a gear and tryed a max that dosent work in krytac yet it works perfectly fine
Like I always say - a v2 gearbox, needlessly re-engineered to be fussy with parts that doesn't break but is adaquate at best for £200 more than most aeg's that are better out of the box.

Well here in the philippines we got plenty of spare E&C parts for sale, particularly the XM177 slim clam shell hand guard. When it comes to metal recievers and classic “bakelite”/polymer handguards E&C are pretty good for the price
I got a Cyma 041G (mp5 platinum) and it came with the exact same gearbox (excep for the "windows" in the piston rail). Safe shitty safe lever with the screw trough the gearbox, the same screwhole for the trigger overextended (i didnt drill it, i make bigger the hole in my new trigger), the same blue plastic nozzle, same piston... all the same. The trigger unit, hold 2 months until the plastic switch broke, thats why i change it for an jefftron with active break. The cutoff lever didnt work until i figure the screwhole of the gearbox is overextended. Even with the shitty trigger, 230€ for the replica worth it every penny. And a good training for the first gearbox i opened XD. (sorry in advance for my english, isnt my native)
Dammit now i want to put that fixed stock on mine! I agree Krytacs sound terrible in stock form, but overall they are great guns as far as fit and finish goes.....performance is meh

There are only 2 SR25s that have v2 long and that's Classic Army and A&K. Both are basically the same since A&K copied CA.
