    I got lost a bit on the second lot of blocks, I created a template though as the words are still text - I have this as an editable template. Ready to rock & upscale.

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah... I probably rushed through the second part sorry... but basically you are blocking out the parts you don't want to see with the erase filter.

    Very complicated, it seems. But it looks like something worth trying to learn how to do this. Thanks for the step-by-step.

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You can do it! If you don't want to move the text and just want the solid and outline then you could stop half way.

    • @emjay3212
      @emjay3212 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not complicated at all. You obviously just don't have much practice with this sort of thing. Just use these sorts of functions a few times and then you will think it's easy peasy.

    Hello Juna, as I was trying to move the dad text which you have moved a little as well, I am still getting the outline of the dad layer which is behind the first dad text layer while moving it, but in the video while you move it, the dad layer behind doesn't show any outline. I hope I could make you understand. I have already watched the tutorial a number of times. Could you tell me where I can be going wrong?
    Edited :
    After taking some time I finally understood how to do it . Actually my placement of all the outline based layers were below the other layers. 😇😇 Thank you for the tutorial again. I have already made 3 designs now. Keep teaching us more.

      Printailor is a Chinese company paying the grifter "design gurus" to make videos on how it's the best new platform to use and so cheap. First, it's Chinese and you're supporting the CCP by using it. Secondly, did you look at their shipping costs and times yet? Expensive and slow.

    Detour, why do you like Affinity better than Illustrator? I haven't used it before so don't know what benefit it has. Great video. And yeah, Jan 2022 is better because the narrative is finally starting to fall apart.

    • @DetourShirts

      It's mainly price and subscription.... I like that Affinity is a one time price and I don't have the pay a subscription every month.... Trying to keep costs down.

      @@DetourShirts Excellent. So nothing we're missing out on in Illy. But something to keep in mind if Adobe keeps pushing communist propaganda in their advertizing and doing stupid things like renaming Master Pages to Parent Pages in InDesign because Master Pages might hurt someone's feelings and is supposed to refer to pages owning slaves in a cotton field now. Thanks :)
