So glad I found your channel!! I’ve been full timing with my dog Finley for over 2 years now and we almost exclusively boondock. I can pull our little teardrop even on 4 or 5 rated jeep roads. It’s awesome. We are actually just outside Parker right now, wish we had run into you guys 😊. There is good camping out here, we back onto the Gibraltar mountain wilderness so we have great hiking right outside our door. Look forward to your future adventures!!

Some beautiful images and landscapes! Really appreciate the info you give us about all the places you travel to. Safe travels. I wouldn’t want you to do this for everywhere you go but for some spots (like where you said it could be difficult to spot the turnoff) gps coordinates would be a great help.
Am like you folks, just cant hang with the heat...This is one of the reasons we love to RV the Oregon and N. Calif. coastal areas...Plus the fact we have relatives from Portland , Tillamook , down to Cresent City all makes this easy and convenient....If you want to see all the Donkeys, Oatman seems to be the place to go to...Great way to just spend a day messin around there...You can also stay at a designed camp spot at Bluewater Casino down by the river but it costs more...Travel safe, be well....
Love all those west coast destinations! Can you believe we still haven't visited Oatman!! we almost stayed the night to take advantage of the pool incentives, but I had too much work to get done! Its not like me to pass up a shower and hot tub.
@@oneadVANtureatatime With your van, Oatman would be easily to navigate....Not so much in an RV...When we do that Oregon thing, we are really big on the state parks and casino camping...We can leave the bay area, go to Portland, over to the coast, and all the way back down to the Bay Area and Casino camp almost every night if we want except in Portland...

Hola👋from southern New Mexico 🌶️🌵...Carrie and Dave Im in my 70's and came to New Meixco late 79 camping in a pup tent and got a Ford Eco van in 80 which we took out the roof and did a rebuild so we could stand up and lived in it for years. I love your videos and the music. Angels all around you, Roolf and your home on wheels. 🤗🙏💖....love the information also.

Loved all the cloud and rainbow photography in this one, very zen. My friends and I left your EXACT camp spot 10 days ago. I remember that embankment with the bees, the big packrat nest, and the old road bed angling up to the camp site. Did you find the cool rock compass rose someone did about 300 yards further down the gravel bar from your site? It was a real work of art. One of these days, I'm going to actually run into you and get the chance to scratch Roodle's ears.
Hi there! I love each weeks video! My friend and I are in Quartzsite … we live in our vans. My friend has a jeep that we use to go to town and we have been to Parker several times to see the Burrows! They are amazing ! We will be working our way toward Banff in the spring and then on to Alaska! 😊

They wouldn’t let us stay at that Bluewater Casino. They said no to all class B’s. I tried my best to find out why but they weren’t having it. Absolutely no vans allowed. It was bizarre so off we went never to return, ever.
I love that area, it's what I imagine the bottom of the Grand Canyon would look like. Since I'm not able to make that hike, I enjoy the Parker damn! There is a small BLM campgrounds with bathrooms and right on the river just south of that day-use area. Thanks for sharing your images!

You are both standing in a pool and Carrie says.... my wife thinks she says..."I'm going for it." I hear..."We get wet." Whose is correct? Also, our new puupy (rescue dog, 10 months old now and we think is a Labradoodle) loves Roodle and the moment we start your videos, she is jumping to get closer to Roodle.

Love that area. Stayed many times at some BLM land on the river. Every night the Donkeys would come in and drink at the river. People would pet them. If I remember correctly doesn't the dam say no trucks, campers or RV's allowed.? I have parked there and walked around but would have taken the dam road if I could. Maybe they changed it since the last tine I stopped there a few years ago. Excellent rainbow!! Thanks for the video.
With all the dirt, gravel, rocky roads you go on, I don't see a spare tire. How do you fair with that? We are headed westward to southern Utah in September and questioning whether to get a spare. We have a promaster 3500 chasis. BTW your videos aremost enjoyable and have been very informative for us. Thanks for sharing.
+@deangraboskey2564 it’s been working GREAT! We have even been testing a onboard chest style freezer. Our 200 amp battery seems to be doing just fine with the addition! We are upgrading to a 2nd battery for 2 reasons….1) ALASKA! The sun won’t be as high in the sky. 2) a patron has sponsored us with Starlink for the duration of our Alaska stay. Everyone we’ve talked too says that Starlink is awesome but draws ALOT of energy. This will be a real time test to see how a added freezer and Starlink impacts our life…. Could be life changing.

We have spent the last Four winters at Buckskin Mountain State Park just north of Parker. It is a beautiful area. Great rainbow.

LA...never!!! After 5 years we are still finding incredible places! So many more areas that we still haven't visited. Keep that list growing

+@mikefarrell5996 we have a spare tire the lives under the rig… it comes stock in the 2017’s. We have a tool that raises and lowers it.

I've used copyright free youtube channels only to have the artist sell their song years later. Then I get a copyright claim.... I have one now. So I'm stuck with stupid, stupid, shallow lyric songs that I have to pay for monthly. I try to minimize the stupid, stupid, shallow lyrics but sometimes they get included. 🤷♀️ open to suggestions

A while back I made a comment about one of your videos with lyrics that included things like "this is the end" or something that implied that you were quitting or your marriage was breaking up.
I know this may sound stupid, but in a movie that has lyrics it directly corresponds to what's going on.
