This game definitely hasn't aged well in a lot of respects but I still have a ton of nostalgia for it. I remember playing it on my first computer back in the day. Great run.
What about it hasnt aged well? The graphics? It runs well and controls well. Better than Before and After the Sequel at least. The level design isnt half bad either.
And so we end with the story of Sonic Time Twisted A good game with several references from other games and towards the end with the Best Hedgehog Speedrun Player I have ever seen (ツ)
I like how he collects almost everything he need in first zone and in the first act Kinda reminds me of that one achievement in sonic 2 mobile where you need to collect 7 emeralds before chemicals plant act 1
This is a fantastic fan game. The only two things that I think could use a bit of work are the the special stages & the cutscenes. They just seem a bit outdated compared to some of the art featured on the title screen & the stages
The special stages I think are perfectly fine though they definitely got the chance to refine them in TT16 bit, as for the cutscenes they absolutely feel like they were the earliest things made though they do have a unique charm to them.

One of my favourite features about this game is how the music doesn't get altered in anyway when you turn into super sonic sometimes we just wanna hear the stage's theme and most super sonic themes are repetitive

I beat this game quite recently, in one sitting and found it to be pretty great, what we do to Robotnik is very out of character for sonic to do but who’s to say? Maybe this sonic was done with eggheads crap and wanted him gone. I finally understand why we grab the chaos emeralds and time stones now. We need to chaos emeralds to properly defeat Robotnik, but we need the time stones to save little planet!

One thing I noticed is that the description of this video (which probably does borrow from somewhere else) states that you can play as tails and knuckles, but I don’t think that came to fruition?
