A classic-style Sonic fangame epic with time travel, accurate physics, custom pixel art, a fully original CD-quality soundtrack, and sprawling zones with loops, gizmos, alternate routes, and hidden secrets! Stop Metal Sonic from capturing the Time Stones and resurrecting his former master. A worthy sequel to be called the true Sonic 4.

▶ Frigid Fortress Zone - an icey castle in the past and toxic frozen wasteland in the future. Warp around the future on Sonic and Knuckles bonus stage orbs, or explore the castle in the past.
▶ Viridian Valley Zone - a lush green style zone, with a marina in the future and prehistoric jungle in the past.
▶ Drifting Dynamo - Flying Battery's style level
▶ Tidal Tubes Zone - a water-themed level with lots of pipes for Sonic to travel around in. Race past futuristic buildings in the future, or pillage the pirate ships in the past. Inspired by the the canceled stage Perplex Puzzle and Sonic Zero's Tidal Tubes.

This game definitely hasn't aged well in a lot of respects but I still have a ton of nostalgia for it. I remember playing it on my first computer back in the day. Great run.
It's a fan game made nearly a decade ago don't expect triple a quality from it
I like how he collects almost everything he need in first zone and in the first act
Kinda reminds me of that one achievement in sonic 2 mobile where you need to collect 7 emeralds before chemicals plant act 1
This is a fantastic fan game. The only two things that I think could use a bit of work are the the special stages & the cutscenes. They just seem a bit outdated compared to some of the art featured on the title screen & the stages
The special stages I think are perfectly fine though they definitely got the chance to refine them in TT16 bit, as for the cutscenes they absolutely feel like they were the earliest things made though they do have a unique charm to them.
@@PainfullyOrdinaryMagician It’s kinda like Sonic CD’s development in terms of cutscenes. Made early on in development, but they didn’t age well in time twisted lol

Time Twisted looks like a good game, but the cutscenes and story is a little confusing- actually no, too confusing.
And so we end with the story of Sonic Time Twisted A good game with several references from other games and towards the end with the Best Hedgehog Speedrun Player I have ever seen (ツ)
This sounds like this a good second game for sonic cd good soundtrack 👌
One of my favourite features about this game is how the music doesn't get altered in anyway when you turn into super sonic sometimes we just wanna hear the stage's theme and most super sonic themes are repetitive

This feels like one of those over the top fan animations lol. The speed of this is crazy! I beat this game quite recently, in one sitting and found it to be pretty great, what we do to Robotnik is very out of character for sonic to do but who’s to say? Maybe this sonic was done with eggheads crap and wanted him gone. I finally understand why we grab the chaos emeralds and time stones now. We need to chaos emeralds to properly defeat Robotnik, but we need the time stones to save little planet!

Which version of the game is this? IIRC they updated this game at some point to address some long overlooked bugs like a whole level getting skipped.
One thing I noticed is that the description of this video (which probably does borrow from somewhere else) states that you can play as tails and knuckles, but I don’t think that came to fruition?
As Tails and as Knuckles, I planned but they in future.
