I just watched this other video about "disturbing" horror movies, and the 2 they talked about that sounded interesting and their on tubi is Bedrest and The Untamed. I use my only free time today to watch Bed rest and it was only okay. Even if their wrong about Bed rest I still want to see The Untamed because the way they described it about some alien monster causing humans and animals to become horny sounds crazy but original, and she claims the alien monster actually looks really really scary. Also the movie you talked about The Collector, there is a sequel to it and it's even more entertaining then the first movie, called The Collection. If you like The Collector you might like it's sequel or be like me and like it more then the first movie.
Andrzej Zulawski's Possession. Not on Tubi though (I don't think). I believe it's on Internet Achive. Maybe even on yt. One of if not the most beautiful yet horrific movie about a toxic relationship. A must see. (just bringing it because of the name of you channel :))

So you're saying it's good? I keep coming across it but since it's a foreign film I tend to think it's cheesy garbage as they don't spend the kinda money American films spend to make movies. Plus reading subtitles take that immersion out of it.
@jonfreeman9682 If you're not watching anything foreign just because of that, you're doing a disservice to yourself, in my opinion. Like not eating another culture's food. I personally don't think subtitles take away from it, but depending on the platform you're watching it on, there are sometimes English dubbed versions available. Also, us Americans tend to remake many foreign horror movies. They are remaking it for a reason. Even IF they spend more money on it, that does not mean it's better - that applies to any remake, even Americans remaking an American film. That has been proven time and time again. All depends on what makes a movie good to you, of course. If someone only cares about special effects, what they consider a good movie will be very different from someone who mainly cares about the acting and plot.

Ok one more comment lol. Im an Iraq war veteran and i can't tell you how much I loved Possessor, I think if you've deployed before or have PTSD, you'll really relate to how she kind of "becomes the mission" and relates to her family. I think it might actually be therapeutic for some people, I know I cried like a baby afterward. Not because I was some sort of badass assassin or anything but just because I was so unprepared going in but then you get there and the stakes are real and you kind of become who you need to be and then you have to deal with all that once you come back. I felt so bad for her, like she was at the beginning of a journey that I knew too well. So anyway, I recommend that one for the vets if you haven't seen it yet.
I've seen Apollo 18, splinter, lovely dark and deep, the endless, and synchronic. Thanks for bringing attention to this list, I'll glad to have more films I need to check out😊
Thanks so much for the recommendation of the Tunnel (2011). It was really well done! It reminded me of a combination of Lake Mungo and the Descent. I also love the older Aussie film Next of Kin (1982), which I'm pretty sure is still on Tubi.
Thank you, Sarah! Been telling others how great Tubi is for months...and *still* the only place with the complete "Hell House LLC" trilogy, *including* the "Director's Cut" (with additional scenes and 'extras'). Can't recommend them highly enough...! 👏
First time viewer . Decided to give Lovely dark and deep a shot , amd Loved it. Absolutly lovely atmosphere and real liked the horror there. Thank you for the recomendatio n
One of my favorite hidden gem horror movies on Tubi has got to be 'Hell House LLC.' It's a documentary-style found footage film that documents a group of friends who set up a haunted house attraction in an abandoned hotel that's rumored to be haunted, as well as the alleged "accident" that took place on opening night that left several people dead (not a spoiler, they tell you this right from the beginning). It's got some really solid scares, especially the ones involving the creepy af clown dummies, and sets up a pretty intriguing mystery that they go more into in the movie's two sequels. The second and third movies aren't everyone's cuppa tea, although I personally liked them quite a bit and found the third movie's twist to be one of the more interesting ones I've seen in a horror film, but the first one is *absolutely* worth checking out if you're at all into found footage or documentary-style movies. Note, there are two versions of this film on Tubi, and I definitely recommend you watch the Director's Cut. It includes a few additional scenes, as well as one near the end that gives a lot more clarity as to what actually went down during Hell House's opening night. There's also a fourth film that's related to the first three called 'Hell House Origins: The Carmichael Manor,' but as far as I know it's not on Tubi, unfortunately, though it's also a highly recommended watch.
There’s a weird underrated gem 💎 called Kolobos on Tubi!! It’s super 90s and has a reality TV aspect, I really like the colors it uses, it is giallo inspired as well ❤
I'm surprised you didn't mention ANTRUM. If you go into it for the experience insread of just the movie, i think it ranks up there with Skinamarink or any Marian Dora film in terms of personal discomfort as to whether you should be watching it. Suspend your disbelief and ithink you'll love the ick.
This was awesome! I've seen almost all of these but I had to wade through plenty of muck to get there. Butterfly Kisses is amazing and probably my favorite found footage movie. I loved Meander and the director has another film on Tubi called Hostile, which is also good. Triangle is probably my most watched film on Tubi and The Endless is one of my all-timers, along with Resolution (which I recommend seeing first). I hadn't even heard of Synchronic, so now that's at the top of my watchlist!
This is the first time I've seen someone recommend 'Splinter'. I really liked that one. It was one of those top notch indie horrors from that era, along with "The Signal" (from 2007; I notice there are a few other movies with the same name). I don't know if you've watched or reviewed that film but it's really great and I haven't seen many talk about it.
TRIGGER WARNING for Grave Encounters: the f-slur is used for laughs toward the end of the movie. It *really* affected me, especially since I watched and enjoyed almost the entire movie at that point. So… if you’re as triggered by homophobia as I am, then don’t watch it.
I think the order to watch the films in is Resolution, The Endless and then Synchronic. I think Something in the Dirt may take place in the same universe too.
So bad. How is this scary? And I’m getting tired of people who say give it half its running time then it gets good is ridiculous. I hate movies where it takes 43 minutes to get anywhere. But this movie is just laugh out funny lame. They did a better job on that subject as a subplot in house on Haunted Hill with Geoffrey Rush.
I'm a recent Tubi fan. I had always avoided them because I wrongfully assumed that because it was free, it would be crap. However, I've found a lot of gems from when I was younger that just aren't available on Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon.
Interesting to hear how much The Collector disturbed you. I'm not the most jaded person out there (Grave Encounters REALLY got under my skin), but I've seen The Collector like 10+ times and own it and The Collection, they're so much fun! Everyone has different triggers I suppose.
FYI - Tubi periodically states various titles will be leaving their library, but I’ve only seen maybe one title actually leave after such an announcement.
If you ever do another video like this and have movies that didn't make the list because they were being taken down please mention what they were anyways because now I'm curious and would've liked to know just in case they could be found anywhere else! Love watching your channel grow, keep it up girl 🎉
Tubi has a bunch of movies (and tv shows) people wouldn't expect, tbh. I mean, not horror, but the show Merlin is on there as well. Also, the movie Frailty, starring Bill Paxton, Matthew McConaughey, etc. And the movie Marrow Bone is also on there. Also, lol. Don't Worry Darling is ALSO on there.
We've relied on em for many yrs now. They recycle periodically. So if they're streaming some gem you're fond of, and then they disappear it, chances are it'll show up again a few months later.
Clive Barker’s nightbreed, May, The devil’s carnival (if you like musicals and enjoyed reapo: the genetic opera), The taking of deborah logan, David Cronenberg’s Shivers
I can’t believe I didn’t know most of these !! Thank you for this list and I actually started last night with “the tunnel” and I loved loved and throughly enjoyed that movie!
Housebound is so good! Housebound is a New Zealand movie so if you like Kiwi humour (like The Frighteners, Black Sheep and Brain Dead) then definitely recommended. Splinter I came across by accident and was completely blown away by it - such a smart, claustrophic movie.
I freaking love Butterfly Kisses so much. I remember watching it randomly and I was like??? Why have I never seen anyone talk about this??? Just absolutely one of my favorite movies ever.
great list. if yall want there is evil dead trap 1 and 2, wacky japanese horror combo. Dark Waters 1993 is also a good horror time. Cant wait to dig into some of these though.
I just recently started using Tubi but I’m a big horror movie fan so I quickly fell in love! Thank you so much for the recommendation. I’m so excited ❤
I remember watching Possum a few years ago and was definitely disturbed by it. It was a unique psychological horror about trauma and the inability to grow up in certain ways, I highly recommend it to anyone.
"The Endless", "Syncronic", and "Resolution" are written by the hot film duo of Benson and Morehouse. These three films are excellent. Now, with that being said, I just finished "Something in the Dirt", which isn't up to the standards of the other three. I don't know what standard it falls under.
I'm surprised you didn't include Final Prayer in the found footage picks! I just checked and it doesn't seem to be leaving soon. I watched it on your rec and I was completely blown away. Complete different direction than you think it's going to go, and the ending...omg. Perfect example of cosmic horror. And I concur, Incident in a Ghostland is super disturbing, but it's from the director of the original French Martyrs, so that's to be expected.
"XYZ is just terrible. I like it, I own it, I watch it." I've never related so hard. I collect VHS tapes, dvds, and CDs and most of my collection raises some brows as to why a collector would even want it. The secret?: I'm actually collecting nostalgia while preserving a media format precious to me
I am so happy that people are starting to talk more about Butterfly Kisses. It is SUCH a good piece of, not even just horror, film in general. I watched it after seeing a found footage iceberg and it just sounded appealing to me, but this movie consistently blew me away. The horror is great, it's a fairly fresh take on found footage, and, don't get me wrong, you can enjoy it passively, but the underlying message in the writing is stellar. Such a clever film, def recommend. I was so sad when I discovered the director/creator passed away. Rest in peace.
The reason I followed your channel is because we love a lot of the same movies particularly the found footage subgenre! I loved Gonjiam and Grave Encounters! I’ve been watching Tubi a lot recently and they have lots of found footage movies. Have you seen They’re Watching yet? It’s found footage and a little campy and has its funny moments but was a fun watch. I also wondered if you’ve ever seen The Company of Wolves? It’s a werewolf movie but done in such a beautiful fairytale like style. The practical effects are quite good (I believe this movie was made back in the 80’s?) I really enjoy your channel and have watched many of your recommendations! Thank you! 😊

Don’t take the leaving Tubi section seriously, the movies usually never leave. (This happened with edan lake)
they’ll surprise you when you least expect it! been waiting for idle hands to get back on there for months but no luck
They do. If you have a Tubi list to saved they give you a heads up that it’s leaving in a few days. But they come back. I always check for my ultimate fav THE THING 1982
They remove movies every month. If it says 1 DAY, it means 1 Day. They have to make room for different films.
Or they leave and are back in three weeks, like Dagon.
I love how much you love found footage movies. They're my favorite sub-genre of horror movies as well.
I watched The Tunnel after viewing this video; it did not disappoint. It's a ton of fun.
They also have a silly vampire slayers with drag queens called Slay and it was so stupid and funny and I highly suggest it!
love your channel!!!...I also appreciate how great Tubi is... i just love the film called Vampire Clay!!!...I"m a serious fan of Soichi Umezawa!!!...please check it out if you haven"t!!!...thanks very much!!!...\m/
i didn't like butterfly kisses that much, but gonjiam and grave encounters are both in my fav horror movies ever list.
Want to say thanks for your service.
I've seen Apollo 18, splinter, lovely dark and deep, the endless, and synchronic. Thanks for bringing attention to this list, I'll glad to have more films I need to check out😊
I hope Tubi never changes. I'd hate to see them move to a paid subscription
Yesss👏
I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT MOVIE PULSE WAS FOR YEARS. First video I've ever seen on your channel and you already saved me lol.
Love Train to Busan. I am fully over Zombies, but I still love this one.
A couple found footage I would add were the Dinosaur Project & Sorgoi Prakov. The second one was also pretty disturbing.
I think you should make a video about the weirdest horror movies you've ever watched. I'd really like to see it
Ooh love that idea
As always, fantastic recommendations! Thank you for including Butterfly Kisses in this because not many talk about it sadly.
There’s a weird underrated gem 💎 called Kolobos on Tubi!! It’s super 90s and has a reality TV aspect, I really like the colors it uses, it is giallo inspired as well ❤
Lowlifes on tubi, watch it. It was a super fun horror movie it was different.
Longlegs will be in theaters in just a few days!
I LOVE the films of Benson and Moorhead, and I'm so happy to see The Endless on here. If you haven't seen "Something in the Dirt" yet, you should.
We watched triangle...it was good but very odd, a mind F
Housebound is incredibly underrated, love that film.
TRIGGER WARNING for Grave Encounters: the f-slur is used for laughs toward the end of the movie. It *really* affected me, especially since I watched and enjoyed almost the entire movie at that point. So… if you’re as triggered by homophobia as I am, then don’t watch it.
Hahahahahaha how you offended by fiction
There's a new horror out of South Korea called Exhuma that I watched and loved.
I think the order to watch the films in is Resolution, The Endless and then Synchronic. I think Something in the Dirt may take place in the same universe too.
Have you seen SOMETHING IN THE DIRT by the directors of THE ENDLESS? A great mockumentary sci fi horror
Gonjiam so over rated , did not find it scary at all , copy of so many others .
I tried twice. I thought I was the only one. 👍🏿
Agreed. Watched it yesterday and thought it was really boring
Watched Triangle today because of this video. What a fantastic movie! Thank you for the recommendation :D
🙌🙌🙌
The "warnings" are pretty annoying. If people can't handle horror movies they should stick to their Kardashians.
You must be new here
FYI - Tubi periodically states various titles will be leaving their library, but I’ve only seen maybe one title actually leave after such an announcement.
I believe Pandorum is on there and it's one of my favorite underrated sci fi horrors of all time. Not sure why it performed so poorly.
Tubi has my favorite ads. Quick and sparse
Deathgasm is pretty cool, too. I love New Zealand horror
I freaking love Butterfly Kisses so much. I remember watching it randomly and I was like??? Why have I never seen anyone talk about this??? Just absolutely one of my favorite movies ever.
Also, thanks for the list, now I know what i'm gonna watch over the 4 day weekend lol.
great list. if yall want there is evil dead trap 1 and 2, wacky japanese horror combo. Dark Waters 1993 is also a good horror time. Cant wait to dig into some of these though.
I just recently started using Tubi but I’m a big horror movie fan so I quickly fell in love! Thank you so much for the recommendation. I’m so excited ❤
I was so happy that I got to watch Jeepers Creepers again but I’m sad it’s off.
Yes! Tubi is a horror treasure trove.
Possessed by horror I love Tubi so much I gave them a shout out
"XYZ is just terrible.
Housebound is one of my all time favorite films
I really like The Endless!
The practical effects are quite good (I believe this movie was made back in the 80’s?)
I really enjoy your channel and have watched many of your recommendations! Thank you! 😊
Starry Eyes is on Tubi now, which is a pretty good movie
Um yes I’m obsessed with that movie!
