Thanks :D This is a case where the platforming is implemented really well IMO. Sure, it's pretty easy to fall, but there's always teleporters to get back and the platforming sections are relatively short.
@1:08 While watching you Chaingun the Barons, I remembered that they're one of my pet peeves. They're just a little too-tanky imao. They should have more HP than the Hell Knights, but not as much as they currently do. And, I think, if they are going to have the same HP as they currently do, then they should be slightly larger than the Hell Knights, as well. Sorry for ranting!
Yeah, I think they could easily be Hell Knights in this specific case to speed things up. I don't mind Barons themselves as an enemy though, it all depends on their usage.
I think this is an example where 'forcing' myself to single segment for content makes it a bit more of a slog. When playing with saves I'd suggest to skip the infighting before the final fight and just go wild, you might die a lot more but it'll go way quicker at least!
Would it have been possible to shoot from the ledge at the entrance to the final fight to wake things up and then leave stuff to infight while hiding somewhere?
I just tested it and it's not possible - the enemies can't hear you due to invisible walls, and the walls only come down after dropping into the arena. Great idea though!
I guess combat puzzle is the best word (though technically every fight is a puzzle in some way?) yeah, since you get a lot of time to think about your approach.

Why can't the Sigil Eye be destroyed??
Because it has no health values, no collision to take damage, no death state, and all in all lacks most of the attributes of a proper monster.
