Niiiiiiice I don’t know how I missed this video til now …? Brilliant map with some very cool tricks on display! The bouncy wall bit is so awesome. 😊 gg!
Thanks :D The bouncy wall is great, and according to the comments the iidea comes from the Ribbiks wad frog_and_toad o: Might be worth looking into sometime!
Architectural style, inspired by Ribbiks. Music, composed by Ribbiks. Elastic projectile wall, from Wormwood Expanded Universe, partly by Ribbiks. I think this map has an MVP! As expected from a map that takes so much after Zach Stephens, I'm not surprised by how spicy it is. Special shout-out to the second elastic wall fight, too: combining Arachnotrons and partial invisibility is already insidious, but when missed shots bounce and reflect everywhere? That is *evil.* 🤣 It also punishes you for using too many rockets for the first part with the Archies, which Wormwood never did.
2:49 only one, a backpack fits only one rocket, so it's always easy to check number on those. It also makes sense, I've never fit more than one rocket in any backpack I had in my life 😅
Hahaha, that Dev capybara is the cutest one yet! Loved it! How do they do the elastic projectile hallway? Is that a Boom thing? Also, how do BFG shots behave? Do the tracers still come out in the initial direction of fire, or do they reverse when the ball rebounds? Also that broken teleporter was very aesthetically pleasing. Good detail. Congrats on the first run!
It was explained somewhere in an earlier comment; I believe it has to do with wind tunnels (which is surely Boom). I've never used them though, so that's pretty much all I know 😅
Very good a nice played the map, and first try for this map, is really good. Some fights are really not easy and you handle it very good. I dont know the next map but i wish you luck and fun, thats most important 👍👍🍀🍀
If you look at my intro, some of the BFG projectiles do end up going VERY slowly, so I guess it does mess with the speed sometimes? In any case: I had no idea how it worked, so thanks DFT :D
@Vytaan for what it's worth, my favorite part of these hard maps is how happy and surprised you are to have finished them. You're always like 'wow! It actually happened!' :)
Masterful playthrough, very thoughtful. Well done beating this from first try)
Thanks for leaving a comment and for the fun map!

18:50 Nah, the teleporter was already broken before you picked up the armor bonus on it...
And congrats on nailing it the first time... :)
Good to know, thanks :D
Wow!!! That was amazing! 😻 very cleanly executed ❤😮
Vytaan slaughtering huge amounts of demons effortlessly yet fails to use elevator twice. xD
Elevators are confusing ok :(

But there were two backpacks :P
@@Vytaan damn, they're placing defected backpack everywhere nowadays 😅
@@proosee It's even worse when the backpack was supposed to contain a parachute... D:

So... MAP32 when? ;p

(after the regular set)
How did they make the bouncy walls?
Extremely speedy "wind" sectors that are fast enough to reverse the trajectory of projectiles in just 2 or 3 frames.
@@DinnerForkTongue but that would mess up with projectile speed - either you would get them too slow or too fast, right?

@@proosee What do you mean, "mess up"?
@@Vytaan NP, always happy to help c:
lol what exactly happened at 11:23? ⛈
Cat was doing something in the hallway, so I had to make sure everything was okay :p
waiting for capy maps is capy-unbearable :)
They're probably going to take a bit longer from now on with how difficult they're getting 😆

@@Vytaan So you're saying they're beyond your capy-ability? :/
😆 my hair’s over three feet long🤪
That's very long!
I had hair that long once. Each shower took me 40 minutes just because of it.
