This past Monday I adopted one of the dogs in the video, the small dark faced one missing most of it's fur. (a quick splash on the screen) Peggy Adams rescue got 30 or so of them and I gave her a home (not a foster). She is doing great after a month of healing and vet care she is covered in new fur growth and is a very happy part of my family. I even posted a video here with her,Elle, and my previous rescue Kai who's the bigger dog in the video
And they're all such good dogs, so cute and friendly and playful. It's a damn shame they had to live like that for lord knows how long. I'm happy they're all safe and sound now.
Excellent. I pray that people will adopt a rescue dog, however ... PLEASE people, only adopt the number of dogs you can care for. I think some people have perhaps good intentions, but they end up doing these HORRIBLE disservices to these precious animals because they do not consider the responsibility of taking care of so many wonderful creatures. Please people think. And God bless you for rescuing these beautiful souls.
You are such wonderful and heart-felt people! Thank you so much for doing this for our amazing animals. You are so strong for them, where's if I attempted to do this I'd just being crying the whole time! Thank you for being a brave, strong voice for animals in desperate need.
@exquisite6 she really did love them enough, enough to know what is better for them. Hoarding is a mental illness where the a person accumulates things and hides them away for future use. Animal hoarding is when the person feels that if they dont take care of the animals, no one else will. So they take in all the animals they can find, and often can't take care of them. Leading to a rescue like this one. :) It might not have been her fault, but I still am very happy for these dogs.
The people who hoard animals often have a mental illness and believe they're doing the right thing. It's starts out with a couple of cats or dogs they can manage but it doesn't take long for it to get out of control and they collect animals thinking they're doing doing good not realising they're making the life of the animal far worse.
Tell me the point of contact to get help with taking the dogs from a person such as this. I would like to send the address where a guy had about 26 dogs but is now down to about 13 because they are eating each other. I have been sending food to the house but I think the dogs are so full of worms and lame it doesn't matter. Who can help. You can drive by the street and see them but you can't see the ones he has chained out back. The dogs are scared to death, I found out he beats them and had dogs removed from in another state. Please someone save these dogs.
My respect all the way from the Netherlands for the work you do. Hope these dogs find a new home... 2:52 to the man; ''please adopt this dog because you were made for eachother''
I work at a shelter in PGH, so I see first hand what these animals go through after they are rescued. People who are hoarders do not realize how much these animals suffer. Rescueing them is the first step...All of the rehap afterwards is the hard part. Some of these animals will never become "normal" dogs and it is so sad. People like this are disgusting.

i Want To Become A Part of this . helping animals have been my dreaam job since i was younger . i dont even care about the whole job thing i just really care for animals and want better life for them .
The right thing would have been: never to hoard like this. But it's a sickness, and now the animals are going to be all right. Is anyone legally forbidding this woman to ever keep animals again? That would be REALLY wise..
Are all these animals rehabbed or put down? That is my only concern. If considered "too sick" or unadoptable or not able to rehabilitate (all issues that can be RESOLVED), dogs will be euthanized....is this a no kill?

WHOA. When I first saw the dog at 2:50, I thought it was a bear!
Hording is a lame excuse for abuse that woman should be ashamed of herself, no excuses and no exceptions.for her when she has allowed this.to happen

THAT DOG! AT 2:50! Looks so much like mine 😭😭😭 it's got the white spot on the chest and omg!!!! But too old for my dog.
Man, it'd be more hygienic to pitch a tent and live in the woods than to live in that sh*thole...
That dog at 1:57 is adorbs!!! What type is it???
good job..
the owner wants locking away

Poor guys.
A lot of those dogs look fine they have shiny, fluffy coats which means they are healthy yes some of them are in bad condition but some of them aren't
save dogs
Well if you can't afford a vet, maybe you shouldn't have animals. Common sense.
Omg those poor dogs! Idk how people can even treat animals like that its terribel. :(
