I have seen SO MANY of these rescues. The Humane Society is So Compassionate and caring. I admire them tremendously. The owners should be arrested and upon conviction put them in an inescapeable room, No Water, No Food, No Bathroom, NO COMFORT of any kind & leave them there!!!

Rescues are the best. My barn got a rescue a year ago and she is the most clingy horse me and the trainers have ever met. She canters right up to anyone and lays her head in their lap. Even after she was abused.
I can´t even begin to tell Scotlund Haisley and Rowdy Shaw the respect, admiration and gratitude I feel. Theese two are just unbelieveable guys, two of the most human, compassionate and tender souls in theese rescue operations. To me they have become the spirits, the fighters for animal rights in the southern states....theese guys have really given us the true perspective of animal abuse, neglect and torture....
One thing that f****** owner looked pretty well fed but he could stand there and argue with you while he's animals are starving I would starve that son of a b**** so he couldn't stand up people like that don't deserve to have any kind of animals. I live in Tennessee and I have a beautiful rocky mountain mare. When we got her she was so skinny and so hungry and didn't trust anyone. She now isn't obese but she is a little fat and tall. Needless to say she rides well and is an amazing horse.

God bless you people. I hate to see someones property taken without their consent but in the case of obvious animal cruelty it needs to be done. The number of people you were able to get to help was amazing. I recently offered my services to a local humane society that is a no kill, and I was amazed at the number of good samaritans that wanted to help. I lost my beloved horse to a broken shoulder 15 years ago. What I wouldn't give to have one of those beautiful babies. Please take care of them all.

My friend got a rescue horse when we were younger (heavily mistreated barrel competition horse), he was a bit aloof and uncooperative but nice. We would go see him and ride him gently where he could scarf down on clover xDD He had to be put down because of old age two years ago, I'm really happy she gave him a good "retirement".

This is just so tragically sad. How is it that someone can treat animals this way. This made me cry. Thank goodness for the angels that rescue and care for them. I live in Australia and this sort of thing goes on here as well and as an animal lover it is just too hard to comprehend.
I watch a lot of animal welfare videos, and it's VERY refreshing to actually see the "people" (barely) who do this to animals arrested, and named, on camera. More of that, please!!! Let them be publicly humiliated every time they do this to these creatures, who do nothing but give us their company, love, service, and trust.
