Awesome product recommendations! However while I do agree that spending more will get you higher quality products, and many others would, reccomending those products then calling the video budget kind of doesn’t make sense. I wouldn’t call a 1200 dollar macbook, 120 dollar keyboard, 500 dollar projector, etc budget, high quality indeed, but not budget
A fair point, but this is always going to be subjective. Tech is inherently expensive, and I think it’s worth investing in long term value rather than buying the cheap option that offers a sub-par experience.
Great video and very informative. I have to agree that budget is subjective, but I do feel that it is unlikely that most students would be able to afford a lot of these products. More budget alternatives could be great. Of course, an argument could be made that if you try to buy a lot of these products in year 1 they will last you your college degree, but some more budget alternative (that are still good quality could be helpful). Again, great video and informative content!
It’s definitely a matter of perspective. This video isn’t called. “ budget college EDC” he is just mentioning it easy to go for the exact cheapest option when on a budget. But just as the $1200 MacBook as an example…. If you buy a MacBook 80% of their line up is significantly over $1200. It’s the difference between being on a budget vs being a budget video. My budget can be $500 or it can be $5000. It’s just a set amount you can spend for the intended purpose.
.... These are very expensive items. Before making a back to school video, maybe consider interviewing some real students that are on a real budget in order to make a video that doesn't rely solely on your experience.
I love watching things I cannot afford at all
