Thanks for all the comments and questions! I've noticed a lot of people asking what I meant in regards to not keeping the second setup - just wanted to clarify that I’ll be consolidating these two desks into one as I don't really have room for both. As a result, I'll be returning some products that aren't fitting my current needs (mainly the M3 Pro Macbook which isn’t enough of an upgrade over my M1 Pro to justify the cost). Sorry this wasn't more clear in the video!
Things you realise after watching a $10K desk setup video. 1) What sounds like a lot of money doesn’t go as far as you’d think when you buy quality. 2) The little things really make a difference. That clock 🤌🏻 Great video mate. 🙌🏻
I actually love the old set up. Swap the not so stable electric desk for a more stable one and I'd be happy. The Studio display is beautiful, but I just couldn't justify that price point for simply just looks, when there are cheaper alternatives which perform just as well. Great video man, can see the level of detail you put in! Can see this video performing really well!
Jordge, I gotta say! The Shutterstock reaction shots made this video 🤣 and I'm actually really happy you were honest that you were not keeping the setup!
For anyone here that likes the Keychron, but also values security against keyloggers, the Logitech MX Mechanical Keys is nice as well and is FIPS 2.0 compliant. For the monitor, if you don't need all the features of the Studio Display, the M8 Monitor or S9 ViewFinity is a nice alternative.
What a beautiful workspace you've created, looks great. Two simple things I noticed which I would do differently: The MacBook cooling exhaust is designed to exit hot air out the back and up. You have it placed to blow hot air down into the table top, which creates unnecessary air flow resistance and also hinders the natural motion of hot air rising upwards and out of the chassis, not passing over any internal components for a second time. Secondly, I would recommend a laptop stand/cradle that will allow the laptop to stand totally vertical and not slanted like you have - because It creates unnecessary pressure on the lid or the bottom from the weight of the laptop.
My wife got the same wood desk for her home office. Looks amazing on oak flooring with lots of plants around. I got with Herman Miller Jarvis standing desk (oak) as I have a more industrial look for my home office.
Please don't spend $10,000 on a desk setup. Unless you have LOTS of money. My work bought my base M2 Air and, other than that, I spent about $600 on my setup. This does NOT look $9000 better than mine.
@@ReviewswBryzI’m not angry. Why are you assuming? I know he didn’t ask. But while he demonstrated that you can, I’m telling people not to. Obviously, you can do what you want. But you can get a desk that looks GREAT for WAY less.
I think you should have gone for the Samsung M8 since u were coming from that LG. that would've been way cheaper than the studio display and allowed you to buy a herman miller chair
I did consider the M8 but ultimately decided the studio monitor would be better suited for my creative needs, I’m currently looking at the M8 for another video though so it might make an appearance soon 👀
Clean setup and amazing video. It's given me some ideas. I though $10,000 was insane until I added up everything that was on my desk setup which was sessionally half of your budget lol
I like the simple set-up and I’ve always been one to value quality over quantity, so the premium desk you have is right up my street.. The only thing I really don’t like is the stand you have for your MacBook, I think I would have went with something like BookArc by Twelve South or an under desk laptop bracket to further reduce visual clutter on your desk.
hi hi!! Loved this video- could you link the in-ear's you mentioned?? I've been looking for a pair when im not in the mood for my chonky bluetooth headphones!! Thank you so much :)
My setup is almost identical to yours with a few differences, my Magsafe charger is closer to my desk pad. I have a USB C charging hub and one USB C 12" cable for charging peripherals on my desk. I have a BENQ monitor light. I also have a Google Home for photos like you do. And I drilled on my desk in order to hide all of the wires and my monitor is wall-mounted.
You should try out the ergonomic mouse by Logitech and the Magic Trackpad combo. I’ve been loving it and for me it’s solved my issue with my right wrist getting strained within 15 minutes of using a regular mouse.
Really enjoyed watching, you work your way from product to product. As for myself, I would replace the Apple laptop and Studio Display for a 27-inch Intel iMac Pro with its matching "space gray" accessories (i.e. keyboard, track pad, and mouse). Now, what happens to all the items you purchased?
Your setup looks amazing BUT I'd urge you to reconsider the monitor choice. The Dell U3223QE is a 4k, 32 inch monitor with 98% DCI-P3 coverage. It has IPS Black technology which bumps the contrast ration from 1:1000 to 1:2000. I got one for around £700 and IMO it beats the studio display in every dept. Also, if using with a MBP, it has 95w charging through USB-C, and it has an INSANE port selection, which IMO negates the need for an external USB Hub. Yes, you'll need a webcam and speakers. But you can get a nice, cheap sound bar which will match the studio displays output, and a nice webcam for a fraction of the difference in price (not considering the money you' *might* save if you also return the ugreen hub.
Well coming from an everything Apple owner… the budget goes… $50 for desk from FaceBook Marketplace, $9,500 Apple monitor, oh and $1,000 for a stand and over budget $40 for power adapter 😂
TH-cam keeps showing me these setup videos and I have one big comment about them. What are you actually doing? The vast majority of people out there seem to waste a lot of money to look good while in reality they aren't doing anything of value.
Different people value different things. Some people value having a desk setup with a particular aesthetic. Desk setup videos are helpful in giving such people ideas for how to create thier own desks. Working in the right environment can be energizing and inspiring.

Show your Pokémon setup in video
Wow, that's pretty tacky to buy a computer from Apple for a tech review only to return it after.
did you get more than 10k profit from this vid tho?
The production quality of your videos are *chef's kiss*

It's easy to see how much effort you put into these videos, the quality is top

lol, shade. if you don't wash your hands get the black mouse 🤣
That really made me chuckle. Commenting as someone with a suspiciously grubby MX Master 3S in the white/cream option.
I need a super capable desk set up as I am a guy who does lots of things in my free time.this is a slightly helpful video
The Studio Display is a no brainer

10,000..!!!! Christ on a bike..😮
Oakywood❤ finally someone
What will you do with the new setup then? Just return it all?
Books and storage caddy under the monitor riser 👌🏾👌🏾
So what happens to all that stuff if you’re not keeping it? Was it all returnable?
Oh lord. The love hate relationship I have with the Studio Display is unlike anything else 🫠
Studio display way overpriced.
My wife got the same wood desk for her home office. Looks amazing on oak flooring with lots of plants around. I got with Herman Miller Jarvis standing desk (oak) as I have a more industrial look for my home office.
Will I be keeping the set up? No of course not? What the heck? So you’re going to return everything? What does this mean?
love how you describe your reasonings and are real about pros and cons. great vid
I’ll always try my best to keep it real - thanks dude 👌🏼
Imagine feeding the never-ending consumer consumption machine.

He didn’t ask anyone to spend same, he’s just showing his setup, why are you angry? 😂

I think he has lots of money 😂
i dont think people are running out to spend 10k on their desk setup because of this video lmfao
Apparently @@tom_foolery93 🤣
What paint did you use for the wall, man? Love the undertone 🌿
You spent most of your budget within the first minute 😂😂
Budget go brrrr 📉
Hi, what are your speakers and speakers stands?
Those bigger legs coming from the good ol' Squats. What a flex! But in all seriousness - nicely put together! Great job on that setup

Thick thigh problems 😂 Love it mate

It adds up quicker than you’d think!

Yo love your style. Where did you get those hangers for your bag?
What's the size of your desk?
Length and width?
I have the white MS Master 3. I wash my hands regularly. It still discolored. I ended up going with the dark gray instead.
That shot of the Apple Store looks waaaaaay too familiar! St. Davids 2, Cardiff?
hi hi!! Loved this video- could you link the in-ear's you mentioned?? I've been looking for a pair when im not in the mood for my chonky bluetooth headphones!! Thank you so much :)
I missed the details about the clock, what brand?

Such a beautiful video, wish I had the money
Love the insights you had in this video man! Makes me wanna rearrange again. And i’m definitely getting that ikea lamp! ✨
Looks amazing, great setup! What is that standing floor light you have next to your other desk setup?
Loved that video! Love the space, white and woody... amazing inspiration comes to me to build my 10K setup too!
You should try out the ergonomic mouse by Logitech and the Magic Trackpad combo. I’ve been loving it and for me it’s solved my issue with my right wrist getting strained within 15 minutes of using a regular mouse.
Any links for that analog clock 😮
Can the uGreen HUb be used with a pc if you don't have a laptop? how would you connect it to the PC to us it as a usb hub?
for that kind of money I would create a personal gym set in my place but hey since we spend a lot of time behind our desk I get it.
Love the set up!

This guy just called me poor in 10 min video
7:40…what is the tablet u use for the clock on your desk?
May i ask what pad he using in 6:54, many thanks
Love your video.
What is the laptop stand?
kilmat inside the q1, something tells me you watch hippyo tech
What speakers/stands are those?

Witch Keyboard is this
was weird when i saw the city centre apple store, was in there yesterday haha.
What is the white screen you use for clock and background watching??
It’s a chrome plugin from Work Hard Anywhere!
Question? Why have a laptop and a desktop?
It’s a monitor not a desktop 😊 Using a laptop allows me to work on the go and plug in to a larger screen when needed
@@JorgePowell ohhhh I see! Damn I didn’t know it was that simple 😂 thanks homie!
Wait, you spent 10,000 quid to build a second desk setup that you have no use for, and you won't keep, for fun? What an absolute waste of resources.
Time for you to chase that bag and stop whining about how people spend their money
btw I hate all the docks available it's such a cable mess
Well coming from an everything Apple owner… the budget goes… $50 for desk from FaceBook Marketplace, $9,500 Apple monitor, oh and $1,000 for a stand and over budget $40 for power adapter 😂
If the price is factoring hardware that seems reasonable.
Wild that you can buy $10,000 worth of stuff, record a video. and just return it all. Wild.
Dang this video made me realize just how much I have spent on my desk setup...Niot far off from yours...yikjes!
I love to watch people trying to justify the mediocre studio display. It is always funny.
What do you mean you aren’t going to keep the setup? You’re going to send it back to the store?
Title should be “how I overspend my desk set up”
Just knew you drove a Tesla, your'e sucha consumer. The Jews rizzing you would give you a honorary badge
bro forgot to link the clcok
BS1363 mains plugs, "pain in the arse", yet US$ budget? :-)
Global audience mate, has to be done 🤷🏻♂️
RIP to his wallet.
Pretty much 🥲
He said he was going to return a bunch of stuff, so his wallet might recover.
inb4 lol lantec 10 desk
70 days on a single charge... right :)))) In real life it last 15 days maximum.
TH-cam keeps showing me these setup videos and I have one big comment about them. What are you actually doing? The vast majority of people out there seem to waste a lot of money to look good while in reality they aren't doing anything of value.

Noice
All good except that the webcam is expensive crap then and now. Design for dummies.
Please don’t spend this amount of money people . This is just for clicks
And what are you trying to tell us by spending $10,000? Better make videos for the general public... that would make sense!!
rly bad audio ngl
10k? my 50bucks set up look better then this
Then show it
waste of money
