Hey Craig, greetings from the UK. I'd be interested and wishing to know if you would do a video on the casts favorite cars and how people such as Paul walker took to them or even cars from the films, from what you seen on the set or even what they where like with the cars such as if they actually could drive them well or knew much about them?. This maybe interesting for some and maybe something you might want to do. Hope to hear from you soon. Ton
He's done a few videos on cars from the films. Plus, the casts favourite cars he would have to contact them all. Most probably wouldn't even reply etc. Think first. It's not like he's got vin diesels phone number 😂
In the 50s & 60s Customizer George Barris was also a Technical & Script Advisor on movies & TV shows. He knew how cars should look/portray & consulted in car part lingo in scripts at a time when Directors & Producers didn't know how. Love your Channel Craig "CHEERS"
My parents and grandparents absolutely detested my hobby, and now I get a step closer to live my dream every day! You're an inspiration... even though you didn't suggest a Miata as the hero car.
The Miata was considered a hair dresser's car in the tuner culture back in the early 2000s, people looked down upon them and had no respect for them like the Boxster. They only started to get the recognition they deserve these days.
I remember going to see 2 fast 2 furious opening night at age 15 at the mall with me and my 3 of my friends. One friend couldn't go because it was rated PG-13 and his parents wouldn't let him. Man what a time to be alive some of the best memories everyone was so excited before cell phones and really before internet got super popular. What I wouldn't give to go back.
Love watching your videos Craig, I grew up with F&F like a lot of other people it’s amazing to see and hear things first hand. I’m a set dresser for films in NYC and it’s always crazy to hear stories about other productions, especially ones that you’ve come to love so much
The franchise would’ve done better if the film makers would’ve been more accurate... It’s almost a joke going back to watch the movies after learning about how cars really work.
That's an impressive history you have with cars, I have to take my hat of for this man, respect and admiration to you Craig you're a legend in the car world, you're my inspiration and the guy I look up to since i love and have a passion for cars.
The Nissan EXA in Australia was a Turbo and came with the CA18DET…. It was a little weapon and quickly became a cult car known to beat V8’s at the time after a few common mods
Hector is going to be running 3 Honda civics with spoon engines and on top of that he just came into harrys and bought 3 T66 turbos with NOS and a motec system exhaust!!! lol couldn't help myself still love the first 3 movies!!
Any communication about Art n Motion U guys had the best cars... Being a lot like u my area was void of the import scene... When my vehicle pick as an extra for Fast and Furious 2..... WOW
Love your channel Craig, Waddy from NOS was a freind of mine, It was nice to hear him mentioned in thsi video. I still have his tunes for my Big shot plate on my Camaro. He was truly a nice guy. Last time i saw him was about 5 years ago at Nitrous Supply when him and Mike Thermos were in i believe Seal Beach... anyways i was very sad to hear he passed, As i'm sure you were as well. If you every spent any time with him, You loved him... Keep up the great content. -Mike
First! Hey Craig I haven't seen any pics of fast 4 240sx interior. Was it modified in the interior? Also which one of the 3 240sx's would you rather have? Blue 240sx 2f 2f? Lettys 240sx fast 1? Or fast 4 240sx?
Thanks Craig not only the usual informative gold mine of facts but how it all began as well. Funny that I saw a Peterson museum referenced earlier today. One of the cars on display there is Suki's pink S2000 from 2F2F. The paint had somewhat faded over the past 2 decades.
Greetings from Guyana, South America. Excellent post and information! Proud owner of an Integra Type R, Escort Cosworth and MR2 Turbo. Looking forward to your JDM car reviews.
Love your TH-cam channel Mr. Craig. Really appreciate you talking and sharing your life with us about the cars you use to drive and your work as a technical advisor on the Fast movies!
I remember Super Shops. Im fortunate because I live in Ohio and while we dont have the Southern California car scene...we do have Jegs and Summit racing. So thats good.
You are so awesome. Thanks for sharing all of this stuff with us including your journey. I am always fascinated about a cars journey especially picture cars. I think it would be a bit of comedy/informative/fun to see you do a video or two where you review viewers rides and give an opinion. You sir are a legend!
Hi Craig great video and I truly appreciate what you have done for all of us car fans and fast and furious fans. I’ve learnt a lot from your channel and enjoyed so much of your content. Also it’s still cool that you had a cameos at drag wars as the starter 😜 🚗 👍. R I P Paul too still sad 😢. Thank you again Craig.
Back when it was mostly about the cars. Haven't watched one of the recent ones after it changed so much. The first one was lightning in a bottle that can't be captured again.
It's so crazy that the Universal's ignorance/stupidity about tuner cars (useless body kits, over the top paint and graphics, cheap Chinese performance parts, and heavy stereo systems) ended up shaping an entire car culture that lasts to this day. Tokyo Drift was the most accurate representation of real tuner car culture that I've seen (aside from maybe Initial D.)
I was aware of some things you told in this video, by watching your other videos for quite some time now. Also learned some new stuff, so interesting to see how it all went down for you. Thnx so much for these videos! First 3 F&F are gold! 4 and 5 are then the 2nd best to me. After it, it became less for me but still decent/amusing-ish movies.
I wish they could do a full remake of the fast series and start all over again but this time stay with the Tuner culture. We need tuner culture to come back! We're sick of EV this and Cross that. We need a franchise that will make tuning cars popular again
Craig, I was on the south leg of super street tour the year you brought the maxima out and drove it on tour. I found some old vids I recorded of riding up 95 together, and you standing in the back of a Box truck at hot wheels in jaxs telling us about the hurricane we were going to be driving through. Since Nopi nationals and the Super Street Tour existed because of the movie, you ever thought about discussing the experience of the tour and nationals on the channel?
The Supra cost me $24,000 USD back then. Even mediocre new cars today are up over $40,000. I had a job as Executive Director for NIRA back then -- I mentioned that in this video.
The first F&F film got me into cars. It's a shame the script didn't take from more of your expertise, because those movies gave me some ill-advised impressions in my more impressionable years, and rewatching some of those scenes ("DANGER TO MANIFOLD") is laughable now. Still, I love the franchise and I love your channel.
Great video craig! Your editing skills have evolved greatly and they truly are like watching a time capsule. I never thought as a kid watching this movie that I would later get this far behind the scenes! Keep up the great work
“No that’s the turbooo”
Craig’s a legend.😂
Yeah lmao🤣🤣🤣
I paused it to come find this comment!!!
The highlights
So good 😂
The thumbnail is EVERYTHING

I'm so happy that you started this TH-cam channel, love the real facts!
basically Craig was leaving a life of 99% of car enthusiasts could just dream about :D
Just glad he’s cool AF about it and willing to do these videos
2:17 .... rumour has it that Avril Lavinge song, SK8TR-boi is based on Craig ! 😸
Thank you Craig for your stories and experiences.
Thanks for listening
"you can't polish a turd" As a fellow former exa owner I concur 😂😂😂
Meanwhile, mythbuster polishes turd into a shiny brown sphere.
I jut found this channel randomly last year and I have been watching since

My parents and grandparents absolutely detested my hobby, and now I get a step closer to live my dream every day! You're an inspiration... even though you didn't suggest a Miata as the hero car.
at some point you dont listen to your parents
I think they detested the Miata 😂
The Miata was not a “cool” car back in the early 2000’s. It is now, but back then people were yet to appreciate its brilliance.
The Miata was considered a hair dresser's car in the tuner culture back in the early 2000s, people looked down upon them and had no respect for them like the Boxster. They only started to get the recognition they deserve these days.
Lmao Miatas are still a joke what are you talking about.
An old classmate of mine, Robert Boileau was a driving instructor (I think he was an instructor) at Bondurant.
That picture car warehouse website is insane! I've always wondered how shows set in different time periods made streets look so correct
Love watching your videos Craig, I grew up with F&F like a lot of other people it’s amazing to see and hear things first hand. I’m a set dresser for films in NYC and it’s always crazy to hear stories about other productions, especially ones that you’ve come to love so much
Thanks 👍
When i was smaller thought these logos are the best details to a good design , now i understand... they were just a trade of
The franchise would’ve done better if the film makers would’ve been more accurate...
It’s almost a joke going back to watch the movies after learning about how cars really work.
"T66 turbos and spoon engines"
I remember the last autocross event I was at there was at least 4 k swaps that blew out their billet floor pans after their manifold was in danger
@@Meekmillan its prolly cos they used the motech system exhaust
Nos fogger and direct port nitrous injection.
@@skrublordnord69 if they has Mashimoto treads then that's evidence they were speeding on the way to the show.
Fast and furious 1 and 2 were the best the rest could never top them!!! They needed you on the rest of them movies
That's an impressive history you have with cars, I have to take my hat of for this man, respect and admiration to you Craig you're a legend in the car world, you're my inspiration and the guy I look up to since i love and have a passion for cars.
Yeah man,to be honest I underestimated Craig before seeing this video
Now have a new found respect 👍
The Nissan EXA in Australia was a Turbo and came with the CA18DET…. It was a little weapon and quickly became a cult car known to beat V8’s at the time after a few common mods
You've lived an awesome life. Great video, so interesting.
Never heard your story before, great to hear
Success is when preparation meets opportunity.
Your life is incredibly interesting. It's cool you got to experience it. Enjoy your content
Australia had the same Ca18de Exa
We never officially had the gtir, they were grey imports that gradually came in from the late 90s
Craig I’m glad how consistently thorough you are and continue to correct the misnomers.
Love this Craig. A regular tuner just like us getting head hunted to create some of the most iconic cars still to this day.
Amazing content glad you got to be a part of that its amazing 👏
Hector is going to be running 3 Honda civics with spoon engines and on top of that he just came into harrys and bought 3 T66 turbos with NOS and a motec system exhaust!!!
lol couldn't help myself still love the first 3 movies!!
Let's not forget that the Fast and Furious also inspired the Need for Speed games at that time. And all that thanks to this Legend right here!
My first car was a N13 EXA!
Any communication about Art n Motion
U guys had the best cars...
Being a lot like u my area was void of the import scene...
When my vehicle pick as an extra for Fast and Furious 2..... WOW
Hell of a journey craig
Im amazed

Loved seeing that short clip of Adam Saruwatari's Rx7!
Adam's, first car e46 😎
Craig, its crazy how your stories never get old.
First! Hey Craig I haven't seen any pics of fast 4 240sx interior. Was it modified in the interior? Also which one of the 3 240sx's would you rather have? Blue 240sx 2f 2f? Lettys 240sx fast 1? Or fast 4 240sx?
I think I can guess what your favorite car might be
Thanks Craig not only the usual informative gold mine of facts but how it all began as well. Funny that I saw a Peterson museum referenced earlier today. One of the cars on display there is Suki's pink S2000 from 2F2F. The paint had somewhat faded over the past 2 decades.

Great Video Craig! Loved it. Oh and loved the Mercury Capri, lol... had several of those over the years... haha
I always enjoy your story. I haven't completely made it through your book but its very good as well.
Thank you, Craig Lieberman👍🏻

I can imagine Craig got pulled over often, nice list of cars minus the pulsar 😂
I love Knight Rider :)
Something about Craig’s videos that calms me down.

I actually had the same poster no joke, I remember those wheels very well, I even bought the same wheels for my maxima at the time. Racing harts

Lmao you need better taste. All these movies are trash.
here a bit of weird one why did the eclipse have the number five as it was never part of a team and how where number picked for doms team
This was the topic I was waiting on. Thanks, Craig.
Great story Craig.
sir you're a legend

Hope to see your magic in a different movie in the future. Love your channel.
Such an awesome experience! You are so lucky brother!
I was aware of some things you told in this video, by watching your other videos for quite some time now. Also learned some new stuff, so interesting to see how it all went down for you. Awesome video Craig!!!!! You have an awesome history. you are a car god!!!
I live my life 1 Craig Lieberman video at a time
OK I had to thumbs up for the 76 Ford Capri. Dang I miss mine.
You worked Richard Petty in there, I live down the street from him here in NC.
IS THAT THE NOS??? NO THATS THE TURBOOOOO 😂😂😂
Haynes Manuel best teacher ever!
@12.26 are those the actual seats for the Supra? I’ve never seen an up close picture like that
Wow that’s amazing I can’t imagine the feeling
I wish they could do a full remake of the fast series and start all over again but this time stay with the Tuner culture. We need tuner culture to come back! We're sick of EV this and Cross that. We need a franchise that will make tuning cars popular again
Yes no musle cars pure tuners and lots of races
Allow me to introduce myself.jpg
Someone need to hire Craig for another movie OTHER THAN the fast series 😂 I feel would be great a movie if he's involved
Craig, I was on the south leg of super street tour the year you brought the maxima out and drove it on tour. Craig…..you are just too cool…You really are the man.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Proud owner of Axis wheels here, not Se7en, but still :)
thank you for sharing
Great video! Can’t wait for the car reviews! The R34 vs R35 review was done very well
I wish F&F kept Cohen around for the 4th sequel because the first one was the best script. I think after F&F 4, the franchise took a radical direction
This was really good. Informative.
Great vid, looking forward to the JDM reviews too 😁👍
That was a 70d Carmaro! Mic'21
How did you get the money to buy a Supra or a GT-R when you were 30-35 years old? I mean, what jobs did you have back then?
Answer wouldn't help you to do the same.
The Supra cost me $24,000 USD back then. Even mediocre new cars today are up over $40,000. I had a job as Executive Director for NIRA back then -- I mentioned that in this video.
You should make a video of all the cars you owned
The Thumbnail is better then the last 50 Fast movies
The first F&F film got me into cars. It's a shame the script didn't take from more of your expertise, because those movies gave me some ill-advised impressions in my more impressionable years, and rewatching some of those scenes ("DANGER TO MANIFOLD") is laughable now. Still, I love the franchise and I love your channel.
is that the nos? noo its the turbo ! classic!
And what a job you did in the series! PS, you should've told him it was the V-tech kicking in! lol
Thank you so much for this channel!!
Great video craig! Your editing skills have evolved greatly and they truly are like watching a time capsule. I never thought as a kid watching this movie that I would later get this far behind the scenes! Keep up the great work
Awesome video thanks for the history man great work and keep it up
great video man, always enjoy em ...thanx & god bless dude
I hate the f@f franchise but I could listen to Craig talk about cars all day. Can't wait till your jdm reviews.
Thanks Craig for all the great vids.
Love his videos. Been here since he had very few Subs and not going anywhere.
that was back in craigs king of queens days lol.
idc, the troy lee graphics are friggin awesome.
12:19 never noticed the side mirrors on the Maxima before, they look quirky and interesting.
If there can be a FF offshoot (Hobbs and Shaw) they should do one going back to basics covering street racing
Jason Statham could fit in becuz how well he can drive but for Dwayne, i dunno, he seems preferbly smashing others off
what else was the rx7 that was used for Doms' stereo and trunk setup was it a stunt car or one of the hero cars
GREAT Stories as usual Craig! Thank you.
I like hearing your journey . It really interesting 👍🙌
Great story loved it👍🏾
