"After Tokyo Drift the franchise (de) evolved into super spy thrillers that would make even Micheal Bey say oh dear god". 10/10 on that perfect comment Craig !!!
Craig it really boggles my mind how much influence you had in a movie that influenced so much in my life. I probably never even would have been into cars if it wasnt for that movie and what you did for it. I dont care what anyone says, I really appreciate these videos and you shedding light on things we never would have known about in these movies.
Fomoco1320 I was just about to put the same damn thing as you pretty much word for word. Little does this guy know but he changed thousands of kids that are now in there 20s lives and I'm sure we all have a spot for what you've given us man especially to the kids that didnt have family then found the car community. I wana say thank you very much Craig and getting to see how it all came together from one of the main creatures of the movie as an adult is absolutely incredible and nostalgic. I'm going to watch and enjoy every second of any content you put out man once again thank you very much.
I wanted to thank you Mr. Lieberman for your involvement in FnF, when i saw the first one, i was 13 years old at the time, the movie made such a huge impact on me, made my car passion grows more, and introduced me to tuned cars. For years i wanted a 1995 black Civic with green neon to be my first car... Supra, RX-7, S2000 and Eclipse will always have a place in my heart... when i took my license (with 18 yrs old), my first car was a 1999 Civic Ex 4 door blue (stock), after a year, got totaled in a crash... my second one was a 2010 Subaru Impreza 2.0. Today i have my modified Bmw 328i F30, with Stage 3 (hybrid turbo, big intercooler, ecu flash, LSD, catless downpipe, diverter valve DV+, eibach springs, aftermarket exhaust, aluminum intake + charge pipe and turbo pipe, high flow air filter) producing 320whp and 490 nm. I'm loving your videos! waiting for the next one! Cheers
I got nostalgic the other day and decided to dust off my DVD of The Fast and the Furious. I decided to hit the internet to look up trivia cause anyone who knows me, knows I'll spend hours looking up trivia from movies. Fell down the youtube rabbit hole and found these videos. First and foremost, thank you Craig for clarification and awesome history about the vehicles and how everything came to be. Subscribed immediately and I'll be buying your book as soon as I have the money. This is the unknown information and trivia I've always wanted from the fast and furious franchise. Not really a big fan of anything past 4, but they are still good movies all the same. I just miss the 85% cars and 15% everything else, but that's Hollywood. Once again thank you so much for the videos, Craig.
Love the informative and entertaining history of the 1st Fast and Furious! A couple guys I know were extras in the first street race of the movie and they thought they were famous for a moment!
Because people like theatrics. It's why people are obessed with turbo noises, VTEC engagement, cars that shoot fire, the idea of hitting a button and injecting nitrous. *Stuff happens*
NO ONE called it "NOS". Spray, juice, nitrous etc but NEVER NOSSSS. NOS stands for Nitrous Oxide Systems. It's a brand name acronym not a term. Yes, I know, yes I race(d) on track and 'other' places. Actually used NOS brand n2o in the racing mustang in the 90s. I thought this was one of the most stupid things in the movie. I'm glad he knew this but I wish he had more influence.
No matter how many times I hear/watch your story it never gets old. Its always informative and very interesting every time. I always look forward to all of your videos, I'm so happy I found this channel shortly after you started. Thank you for all you did to help guide them in the right direction for the first movie. Without you it wouldn't be where it is today, their choices wouldn't have made even a sequel! (BUICK REGAL WTF) and of course regardless how stupid and crazy they have become. Thanks for the awesome content!
You are a blessing to this franchise, inspired a generation, brought awesome cars that everyone loves nowadays, and a lot of people want back in the next movies, absolutely enjoy your work, love the channel, love the irony and the little jokes about mustangs =))) i love the people who actually had some cars and can argue about, unless like other dudes, having a shitbox and arguing over cars they never had. keep up the good work, much love
Holy crap I’ve seen every video Craig has made on this series the day he uploaded it, no exaggeration and I subbed on the first video I think he had around 1,000 subscribers when i subbed, he’s came along way and his edits are improving every video, keep the vids coming I will watch, but seriously tho you don’t need to improve at all really keep doing exactly the way you’re doing it now
Paul didn’t know much at the start but he was a quick learner. It’s a shame that none of the rest of the principle cast doesn’t really care much about cars. And Vin is milking the Dom character for all it’s worth, even outside the franchise (see dodge commercials).
I remember you saying in your book that you didn’t have the heart to tell Rob that you didn’t need to use the nitrous to go that fast. Which one is it now? Are you lying to us?? No, but in all fairness, it’s always fun to hear your stories again, even when minor details are different. You’re really taking me back to that time, even tho I didn’t witness it personally haha
Greeting from UK, this is by far my favourite channel on TH-cam! So glad you had you input into the fast and furious! It’s been my favourite film since it first seen it. Keep the videos coming!
20:21 really sums up the franchise now. It makes me sad but as a loyal fan I'll keep watching until the end. I wish they would make another movie like the first three.
I appreciate the effort that you put into these Craig. Some constructive criticism with this one, I would say there were too many of the crazy transitions throughout the entire video. Having a few would be fine, but they were used way too much in this one. Doing a quick fade out/in of black or a straight cut to the next part would be a lot less distracting. You have great content, let the content/storytelling do the work. I could listen to your stories all day. (Enjoying that new intro) Other than that, keep up the awesome content, thanks again!
Don't let this distract you from the fact that Hector is gonna be running 3 Honda Civic's with spoon engines. On top of that he just came into Harry's and ordered 3 t66 turbo's with NOS's and a Motec System Exhaust.
aha, good story to hear again , Craig! I hear new things and i'm watching this cool vid for the 2nd time. Wish you a great day again wih them guys in Ahoy!

Until recent technology, "Coyote generation and up" they were slower unless you were in a very tight niche of people running highly modded and turbo'd fox bodies. Ford just wasn't producing cars that could keep up with what was coming out of Japan

The tuner food chain sounds like every Need For Speed game since Underground.
You misspelled Car Bible
Could you imagine Vin Diesel walking around a 1990 Buick saying it scares the shit out of me.

Then Dom could go into how he beat up the city official responsible for not repairing the road.

So Craig is basically responsible for every kid, even kids today knowing what Nitrous is. Neat.

It would be great to see most of the original cars of FF1 return to Fast 10 in some shape or form.
the comment about johnny’s mustang LOL shit man I love craig’s channel. I can hear this dude tell stories all day
Craig, at around 6 minutes you state Letty is Doms sister. I wasnt aware Dom was from Alabama
Cameron GSX thought I was the only one
I thought he was saying letty was Brian’s love interest and doms sister in the original script
DeltaLimaDelta that is what he was saying.
i think we can all agree craig saved this movie, i could not imagine jesse in a riced up beetle LMAO
🤣
craig was the backbone of the car side of the series
Fast and Furious: let's make a car-movie without knowing anything about cars (except craig or maybe paul)

Craig this is absolutely brilliant. Thank you. We definitely need more 90s jdm car in next installment. Back to roots.

i really like the style of these videos. also love you how use swear in the video. whenever you drop an f bomb it’s always in the perfect moment

It's always makes me laugh when the bottle pressure climbs when they hit the button
For me its the boost gauge, they have a overboost of 15 pound, but nitrous would just had oxygen the turbo push the same static pressure.
fast 10, dom drives to the moon after installing a giant bottle of NOS
Ejecto Charjo cuz
Very fast and very furious intro you got there, Craig.
I've always wondered why the Supra was green in the original poster...
It's insane how much you've done and how little credit you were given.
Imagine what would happen if Edwin was screaming "Monicaaaaaa" from a Chevelle
The audience probably wouldn’t have been able to hear it if the engine sounds remained unedited.
That would be hilarious
Man I want to thank you for bringing some realism to the series your knowledge really made the movie feel right
it would be hella sick to see tran driving a termanitor cobra or saleen s281 like in 2f2f
aha, good story to hear again , Craig! I hear new things and i'm watching this cool vid for the 2nd time. Wish you a great day again wih them guys in Ahoy!
