@leonardo migot Leo, good point, what difficulties are the chores to removing and sharpening those blades? It must be an hours work with knowledge to do so and diligence to do so on a regular basis. Seems to me 4 to 5 hours a year just on the blades. Now, lets think about the hours and hours of tune-ups and cleanings of the hand power tools. To me, per job at least one hour per job in maintaining the tools. Another folks forget is the one hour plus dumping the debris. What do you think, leonardo migot

My Dad always was helping the neighbors with mowing and snow blowing and anything else they needed, including car engine repairs. Never asked for anything in return. With so much stuff being battery power now, it makes things very easy for everyone. Some trimmers you just replace the head with a pre filled cartridge so no winding string or anything. Good luck
That is a moral mushroom they are very delicious. But if it is not a true mushroom with the attached stem they can make u very sick. Other than that they are safe to eat. They go great with steaks.😊

Mushroom is edible and lucky to find in your yard! It's a morel mushroom looks to be yellow or gray great fried! I love them and many people do! Great job with the Yard work and sidewalk and the parking spot FYI a lot of older houses had that lil bit of grass left in-between I don't know why but they did many year's ago.
It so nice you help people in despair. It also makes it safer for the neighborhood with , ticks, snakes and other unknowns that could possibly lurking in high uncut grass.

It's obvious from all the work you have done that that outside area has been in a bad state for more than one winter. There's very few landlords out there that actually care about their tenants. This is a super effort to knock down and restore such an overgrown yard. It takes patience and dedication to help this home renter, and you knocked it out of the park. That string trimmer and gas mower are essential tools for this level of overgrowth and neglect. The good edging sure makes the yard stand out. Really well done 👏

Most everyone trims at the end but like you I do that first. I don't know why they want to leave long blades of grass everywhere. Keep going that extra mile man...it will come back to you.

Geez, that's an issue anytime you get involved in any kind of "charity." A real turn off. I used to volunteer with an organization that helped older people get to the store, etc. And some of the people were wonderful, but others were actually demanding! Blew my mind and turned me off of volunteering.
And to clarify, I didn't need anybody to be "grateful." I truly wanted to help. But the users just killed it for me. Probably a flaw in my personality. I just can't put up with that.
No, she's a new customer of ours and we had her first mow scheduled for Tuesday (which during the making of the video was the next day) that's why she asked :)

Suggestion.... Ride your mower over beside a tall bush or tree and stand on top of it to trim high branches or tree limbs!

This is a super effort to knock down and restore such an overgrown yard. It takes patience and dedication to help this home renter, and you knocked it out of the park. That string trimmer and gas mower are essential tools for this level of overgrowth and neglect. The good edging sure makes the yard stand out. Really well done 👏
And the most essential but overlooked tool is again the lowly shovel lol.

I watch many lawn transformation videos, most always on my TV so commenting isn't an option. So I came to my phone to let you know I think you do a great job. Most everyone trims at the end but like you I do that first. I don't know why they want to leave long blades of grass everywhere. Keep going that extra mile man...it will come back to you.

By the way, that mushroom you showed, looks like a Morel mushroom - they're very tasty when cooked w/butter, a pinch of salt & pepper.
Did that young lady walk over to ask if you would do her house free too?! I had a feeling that would start happening once word got around about what you guys were doing. I hope I heard her wrong. You really made a difference on this yard.
Geez, that's an issue anytime you get involved in any kind of "charity." A real turn off. I used to volunteer with an organization that helped older people get to the store, etc. And some of the people were wonderful, but others were actually demanding! Blew my mind and turned me off of volunteering.
And to clarify, I didn't need anybody to be "grateful." I truly wanted to help. But the users just killed it for me. Probably a flaw in my personality. I just can't put up with that.
