As an Ethiopian, I aim to present evidence that Orthodox Christianity existed in Africa long before Europe. The Ethiopian Bible, the world's oldest and most comprehensive, was written on goat skin in the early Ge'ez language, making it the first illustrated Christian Bible globally. Approximately 800 years older than the King James Version, it contains 81-88 books compared to the KJV's 66, incorporating texts omitted by the KJV, such as Enoch, Esdras, Buruch, and three Books of Maccabee.
Another piece of evidence is King Ezana, who ruled the kingdom of Aksum from AD 330 to 356. He commemorated victories on stone tablets, with many standing obelisks in Aksum serving as enduring witnesses to Ethiopia's early embrace of Orthodox Christianity.
A third piece of evidence lies in Ethiopia's mention 40 times throughout the Bible, as well as references in the Quran and Homer's Odyssey. Aksum claims to be the final resting place of the Ark of the Covenant, holding the 10 commandments God gave to Moses. Numerous other pieces of evidence exist for those seeking the truth.
Gratitude is extended to the insightful Nigerian brother and all truth-seekers worldwide.
    God bless all.

What I've always questioned is Europe's version of "Christianity" (in quotation marks because that's probably not what it was called). Colonialism sure did push their version of "Christianity" on the continents. One black man stating this religion was already on the continent, CANNOT distract me from the FACT that COLONIALISM, and the CREATURES that run it, took what already existed and turned it into something UGLY. This is what they do with EVERYTHING!

Christianity was present in Africa, long before colonization; gospel of Thomas & gospel of Mary and many other gospels were found nearby nag Hammadi, Egypt, possibly written in 70 to 90 AD to the latest 140 AD; and African nation was a strong nation back in time during Rome including Egypt, was not the subject for colonization by Western countries; also, Jesus is a first messiah, delivering a teaching of having one God for all, from slave to King, women to men, the poor and ill to the rich and well, all equally can go to Heaven, Kingdom of God if you believe in Jesus and God, He never taught a teaching of racism, but I do agree that certain individual, including a Pastor and Priest who used Christanity for wrong reasons and for oppression and abuse of power to commit sins but that is not the teachings of what Jesus taught us and these men are a product of evil sprits; in the Bible, blasphemy is an unforgettable sin, and no matter if he is a King, or a Priest, if he used the name of God for wrong reasons, his sins will not get forgiven according to Bible; also, the early Christanity is all about showing forgiveness, mercy, and love for one another, just like how Jesus lived his life to save others and he died in the cross for saving all of us, and how he spent all of his power and life to show love and mercy to the most vulnerable people; today's Bible is not really purely representing the early Christanity since religions have been used for abuse of power and authority; but Christanity itself is the one; regardless our color of skin, our background, God and Jesus chose us to be the one; you are powerful, you are beautiful, and you are brave and stronger than anyone because God is within us, that is the true teaching of Jesus, and he does not see any difference between a white man and a black man. You are all children of God.

LISTEN: To say Christianity originated in Africa is Debatable . Before the Ethiopian bible or any books or emerald tablets. brings this QUESTION. WHAT was here before Christianity in AFRICA? or Any Country? Before Religion? Does anyone know! clue? This was Before Religion or Any written scriptures or books! Its more important than any written scriptures , because it was here before Religion. And it Did not Originate in Any Country! Does anyone know?? if you know this? this will lead you to The Creator God, And not religion. Again it was Here before religion.

Christianity started in Armenia, you are wrong!!! Ethiopia was the second country to adopt Christianity in 325 A.D. But it was Emperor Constantine who made a decree at the Council of Nicaea in 325 A.D. and also making Christianity legal in 313 A.D. with the Edict of Milan. Constantine was converted to Christianity in 312 A.D. long before Ethiopia adopted Christianity. Also, the kingdom of Aksum was at war with the kingdom of Kush during this time, and Kush was also at war with the Persian empire which was expanding in the east

The bible talks of mizraim (kemet, Egypt), Abyssinia (Ethiopia), kush, punt, Canaan (Palestine), all of which are in Africa. Judaism was started by the Egyptian high priest Moses, a black Hebrew. We can't convert to our own religion. It is true that Christianity was likely in Ethiopia before Europe, see Acts chapter 8. However, this in no way supports the orthodox belief system as being the truth! If it goes against the word of God, it's false. Mary does not hear prayers, nor does She Answer prayers PERIOD Jesus Christ is The Only way. PERIOD. There's no praying to dead saints, angels or veneration of saints in scripture. To pray to Mary and to believe she hears and pleads on your behalf, is to commit the sin of idolatry. And no idolater has any inheritance in the kingdom of God.

I know he said no fact checking but:
The Spanish word dios comes from the Latin word deus, which is derived from the Old Latin word deivos, and then from the Proto-Italic word deiwos, and finally from the Proto-Indo-European word deywós, which comes from the word dyew- meaning "sky, heaven". Deus is a singular word, but its plural is deii.
In latin words that end in us for singular have a plural that ends in I.
Thats why the plural for octopus is octopi.
