Repairing the ABS plastic and Fiber-glass on a friends VF1000R This is a pretty detailed repair video - not for the faint of heart Episode 2 will be the Paint process
I very rarely watch videos this long without skipping some of it. I watched this from start to finish….. very interesting work you are doing there. Nice work.
I am recently retired. I aquired one of these about 5 years ago. Have started to do an assessment of its condition. I will rely on this video heavily. Thanks so much for the technical Expertise 👌
Hi Jeff, I retired a few years ago too, it’s a wonderful thing. Enjoy your your VFR resto! glad you find the videos helpful. Thanks for watching and commenting. Unfortunately i wasn’t filming videos when I restored my 2 VF1000Rs. The VFRWorld forum is a good source, there are a few guys on there with lots of VF1000R experience. If you go to the 1st Gen section of the forum.
Hot stapling is good for this job. Pins the plastics together solid before running the hot iron across the joints. He'd great success with this method.

Where can I buy an equivalent Polyall 2000? Could you please show us the box labels so we can search for a similar product?
The Guild of Automotive Restorers in Bradford Ontario Canada . But I’m not sure they even make it anymore, you can look online for it and see
Would you be willing to paint my vf1000r if I bring it to you?
Where are you located?
