Led Zeppelin - What Is And What Should Never Be (HD)

- And if I say to you tomorrow,
Take my hand, child, come with me,
It's to a castle I will take you,
Where what's to be, they say will be.
Catch the wind, see us spin, sail away,
Leave today, way up high in the sky and whoa,
But the wind won't blow,
You really shouldn't go, it only goes to show,
That you will be mine, by taking our time.
And if you say to me tomorrow,
Oh, what fun it all would be,
Then what's to stop us, pretty baby,
But what is and what should never be.
Catch the wind, see us spin, sail away,
Leave today, way up high in the sky and whoa,
But the wind won't blow,
You really shouldn't go, it only goes to show,
That you will be mine, by taking our time.
So if you wake up with the sunrise,
And all your dreams are still as new,
And happiness is what you need so bad,
Girl, the answer lies with you.
Catch the wind, see us spin, sail away,
Leave today, way up high in the sky and whoa,
But the wind won't blow,
You really shouldn't go, it only goes to show,
That you will be mine, by taking our time.
Oh, the wind won't blow and we really shouldn't go,
And it only goes to show,
Catch the wind, we're gonna see it spin,
We're gonna sail, little girl.
Everybody I know seems to know me well,
But they're never gonna know that I move like hell. - เพลง
Mid 70's at my best friends house smokin gold with his hot sister and listening to zep all the time it was as good as life can get❤
I hope you enjoyed lots of good poon while toking and listening to Zep or your whatever.
Are we talkin' Acapulco Gold ?
@@ctlt-pg4tm of course, what else 💨
I miss that Mexican weed.
@@wendycameron1552 right😀we drank whatever tasted good strawberry wine and someone always had a car weed was 30 a z and good ❤
I first heard this song in January 1970 during my first experience with acid. I was "getting off" and the familiar "Whole Lotta Love" was making my head explode. Then this song came on and I calmed down and watched the room melt. 300 mikes of Purple Haze (tab not barrel). They don't make it like that anymore, I guess. Now they "micro-dose". We used to call that getting "ripped off".
I used to point to the speaker when they split the balance to one speaker on the guitar break towards the end of the song. Zep classic.
Who didn’t!!
I'm a bit cheeky, so I like to point to the other speaker.
One of the best rock outros in all of music!
I just turn my head left and right.
Decades ahead of their time!!! Best there ever will be
To me, this is the greatest produced album of all time. You listen to this on a big stereo, and you will agree.
Kudos to Eddie Kramer, engineer extraordinare. Recorded on the fly, on the Stones mobile studio.
🔊🎸🎼🎹🎛️🎚️
@@udsmall7306 Is that true ? The man is brilliant !!
@@beatlemania54 I fact checked for ya (my aging memory lol)
Yep, it's true! I got the studio wrong tho- the RS mobile studio was used on Physical Graffiti. 🤦
Great read:

@@udsmall7306 Thanks man. Thats really cool history.
Try it with fresh vinyl on a 3D surround sound and you’ll really agree
If this isn't the best Led Zep song ever, well, it's gotta be right up there! I'm glad I have some awesome speakers that can play it and really capture it. Amazing still, after so many decades.
Recorded January 1969

Great list but you gotta add nobody's fault but mine in there somewhere
Like your list .
There's no band anywhere that are equal to Led Zeppelin. Nobody makes this kind of music . They're mellow and sometimes they can bust loose with the hard stuff ! They're the forever best !
maybe Herman's Hermits?
Was there any songs that all 4 members sang in?
This song just fucking gets better with age!
Another masterpiece by the greatest rock band of all time.
Amen
proper British Rock in roll band. No doubt
One of the greatest.....The Who are the greatest, and I love Led zeppelin
This takes me back to a better time…
Second album, both released in 69. Bad ass.
You know I bought the album when it 1st came out ( just blew my Bose speakers out ) then I saw them live in Tucson or Albuquerque back in the 70’s but but that feeling hit me hard again when I took my family to see the movie silver linings playbook with my adult children. The kids could see me rocking out in that scene. Great great song
11 people didn’t like this song.Mind blowing.Such a classic.
I can't believe there isn't more likes on this song ,i love it😍
There will never be a band like Led Zeppelin again !!!! I don't know how they did it but I like or love every single song off of every album they wrote. I mean really !?!?! Every song is great !!!! I'm a musician and I'm completely boggled by the way they achieved this !!!! How ??? I'm 55 and to this day when I listen to Zeppelin it's like listening to something I just discovered. As we all do I'll kind of get away from it for a little while then I go through this binging phase, in and out my whole life, and every time it's like a new discovery. I don't know maybe I'm goofy, but that's my experience with this band. Just an incredible mark that they have left on music. It's nuts really !!!
Tons of details in the songs are part of it.
What can you say about a song like this? It's definitely stood the test of time and there isn't a band in this world or ever will be that could play this!!! The mighty Zep will live on forever!!! We should all thank God for the 4 geniuses that made up the band
Awesome song by Led Zeppelin
Love that bass line.
Yes! Thank you. This song is ALL about the bass!
MR. JOHN PAUL JONES !!!!!!!!!!
I don't always listen to Led Zeppelin... Wait, yes I do.
Jimmy really displayed his production skill in stereo techniques on this one
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBERT HAVE A GREAT WEEK AND BLESSED BE
LED Zeppelin pauleira total total 🇧🇷🔥🤘🏾🎸🥁🎹🎤☮️👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I wanna be on the himalaya at the fair, going backwards, slightly medicated, while there blasting this from PA system, in surround sound :-P
1st time I heard this song... some other band was playing it. Junior High 1976. Was hooked ever since
perfection. Played with Jimmy and sang with Robert
#1 band in the world for me. Love this song.
These days is there anyone able to compose anything comparable to this? John Paul Jones is amazing on this song! bar nun the best... Jimmy Page and Jon Bo take a back seat to him on this one...
Have heard this song 100 times, knew of course it was Led Zeppelin, and I didn't know its title.
Played this track on Planet Rock recently, not heard it for a while ,one of their best
This song gets me man
Man, what a fucking great song.
Their best track i think , it has everything .
Jun 2024 🎸 🎶 🎼 🎵. ROCK Gods, Get The LED out!
Oooh,that bass
I can feel it in my feet.
How could anyone not like this song? I think that the energy coming out of this is not what some are liking. But why?
This never gets old!
Even after all the excellent music that followed, this has to be one of their best tracks
Listen on a hifi stereo. Blew me away when I was a kid and heard it for the first time on my dad’s 4 speaker 8 track stereo 🎉
Page plays guitar like he knows what it is made for.
Ahhhhhh yes the memories, my dad had Led Zeppelin II on cassette tape, sadly I got rid of it due to the tape being worn out and the audio was very choppy!
2023. Still phenomenal
Heavy and soft! great Zeppelin!!
I think this my favourite led zep song
THANK YOU !
Who cares who disliked this, they obviously have no clue about true talent and real music, their immediate and enteral loss 🤬
I'm rocking age 70. Zep was playing loudly in my buddy's large attic bedroom, at his folks house, when we tripped, in 1971. The room was decked out with a billowy army surplus parachute, hanging down from the rafters. We had a very primitive electric light-show, color strobe, that pulsed along with the music. The floor was covered with several mattresses, that we laid upon, and they were covered in Tie-dyed bedsheets, and faux eastern Indian patterned fabrics. Patchouli & sandalwood , incense sticks steadily burned, giving off hypnotic curls of smoke, that filled the air. Good times.
Sounds like fun.............
@@LoneLee2022 Back then, friends knew how to create a mellow and safe place to "trip". LSD had already been on the scene, since the early 1960s, so by 1970, hip publications, were printing, "How To" manuals.
@@Davett53 I miss those days. I never had a bad trip.
@@LoneLee2022 Me neither. In fact they were amazing visual explorations. I felt I experienced a lot of the things, other people had tried to describe to me. Like intense colors, swirling unfolding imagery, things that resembled fractals,...unwinding coils, that were dimensional, like spiral staircases. I remember staring at a patterned fabric, that turned into to a whole 3 dimensional world. I remember laughing non-stop,...everything was novel. I recall repeating the words, "far out", over and over. I dreamt or hallucinated that a talking squirrel and I were communicating, he turned into my spiritual guide. We walked past towering buildings that were glowing, and pulsating in intense colors. There were trails and tracers, following everything I looked at,...everything was all melty looking. Or I thought at another point, my whole body was made of crystals, or fragmented like broken safety glass chips. My trip lasted 3 whole days, we began it on Friday night, and I was worried that I wouldn't be straight enough, come Monday. It took an extra day to fully recover.
@@Davett53 I realized I could solve all the worlds problems. I just didn't write it down. The Burn-Out was the worst. Felt like shit for 3 days.
By far their greatest album.
Keep Rocking
Great tune
I think the 59 Gibson was born for Jimmy Page.
Jimmy Page was born for the guitar my friend.
I DIDN'T WANT THE VIDEO REMOVED! I PRESSED LIKE AND IT SAID..." Video Removed", sorry 😟
greatness
So good
had nightmares after hearing this for the first time
Zep is without question the best hard rock band of all time..
I been coming back to them and I think you're right, they really defy all genres and are their own complete universe. Rush too I'm my opinion, but Rush should have stopped with Signals, maybe Grace under Pressure, but they went to long.
Magic
Yes!
Off thee best zep album
I usta listen to this with headphones & shift the right to left for fun.
Well ; Took Led Zeppelin to knock the Beatles Last album out of First place on Radio .and Radio was IT ,in 1969 , (by way ,was some Very good stations by End of 60's : Not ,Everything about money ,like Today ) Yep , direct from 60's ,Best to 70's Best ! Americans were Smart back Then !
Victory song!

EXACTLY!!! That always takes me back to those days of high school in 1969 and of being very laid back, righteously high and just experiencing every single note!!!
How bout that Electric Bass Geetar....delicious!

Pete Townshend
I just read that this is one of John Paul Jones’ favorite Zeppelin songs.

A "Loser".
Lock em a room with Zep on forever.
I watched "Breaking the Band"-Led Zepplin tonight on REELZ and I learned that Page and Plant REALLY did not get along in the last few years of Zep's existence. A lot of it seems to have come from Page's rampant heroin usage. Toward the end the band was barraged by one tragedy after another. Plant's son Darac died suddenly while the band was touring in the U.S. Finally, John Bonham's death "broke the band."
His son's name was karac

Page was zeppelin
Bonham was Zeppelin that's why they disbanded after his death.
