I'd give it a 9. This is such a profound moment in the movie, and a heck of a stand-alone scene. Wilson was such an important anchor for Tom's sanity.

Funny story. The stars in the background at 1:00 made me go to my porch and look at the stars. The brightest star I could see was Altair. I looked it up and found its 17 light years away. The light entering my eyes just now left that star in 2007, when I was 14 years old. When I was 14, I had a life changing experience, for the better.
What a nice coincidence.
