Harvesting Emerging Queens

We came across a hive we were letting requeen itself and found queens emerging from capped cells as we were doing our inspection. This is a video showing how we harvested the nearly emerging virgin queens.

Great video! Unless they start out picking older larvae, I would think that there could be up to a 4 or 5 day spread in the age of the queen cells if the old queen were still laying eggs the day she got squished or balled. Am I off base?
