The whole swarm redirected after the second bunch was dropped into the box!! It's amazing how much they gaurd the queen and even more amazing is she control's all by feramone!!! Bee's and ant's are brilliant to watch/study ....
Awesome! None of my swarms have been ths big yet.😮 We caught our first 2 swarms this year😊 we are new to the beekeeping world, also sharing our experiences on TH-cam ✌🏽
That was the 2nd biggest swarm I've seen and I have watched well over 100. 628DirtRooster still holds the biggest I found. You guys had me in knots not putting boxes on immediately, I was sure they were going to take off once they measured and spread the word. Nice catch...
@@astrothsknot I have never personally experienced this. I have however heard of beekeepers having mother and daughter queens run with no issue. We have found multiple virgin queens in swarms, often bees will be balling the “extra” queens they don’t want.

do hives ever run with more than one queen with no aggression between them?

Amazing brother ❤❤
@@TAEUSEA-g1o thanks
Find a good stiff feather to brush with. The bee's hate the brush.
