ABSOLUTELY. There's NOTHING less satisfying and inspiring than a spot-on perfect, flawless album. Any asshole can do that these days. The artistry, IMO, comes in when the artist is so committed to the sincerity and authenticity of his/her art form that they're willing to let the whole world see all their warts and imperfections, which somehow always turn out to be the most beautiful parts.
I'm a 45 year old dude. Failed musician failed a lot of things. I bought this album when it came out. And I shit you not, I've cried every single time I've listened to it all the way through, which is every time. Dozens of times per year for 25 years. Cried every time. And I don't know why, exactly. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that it says a lot about your rendition, to me ❤ the place. Thank you...❤

while it is technically a mistake, I love how when you go off pitch slightly, you can hear the absolute passion in your voice. like it doesn't even matter if the note is right, the emotion is so strong that it reverses the mistake

P.s. very interesting way of taking those open A maj-shaped chords. Never seen anyone do it like that, but it makes so much sense. I've secretly always wanted to take them like that, but was afraid I will accidentally fret a minor chord instead. I lived in the dark
I’m amazed by how much you sound like the actual songs! Little mannerisms and vocal qualities that most people don’t usually have in covers are totally nailed here. I especially noticed it on Holland, 1945 when you did the little count off at the beginning. Nice work!! Impressive stuff.
When I was 16 there was a phase where I'd play Louder Now by Taking Back Sunday from start to finish on electric guitar in single takes along to the CD on low, once a week. This takes me back, big respect for being that dedicated to an album!

Damn, I'm not even the biggest fan of this album, but I can feel this, and appreciate the commitment, and courage (because you didn't have to post this) it takes to do something like this. Like this feels real, unpretentious, and unassuming, except maybe when you apologized for your voice being infuriating. You know on some level you're talented, so keep having fun with it! When I was 16 I taught myself how to play the album The New Reign by Born of Osiris by ear from start to finish, and watching this brought me back to that, although I certainly wasn't singing while playing, this still inspires me to play!
