@@tojojr5616 Andy does a lot of on-the-fly effects and whatnot. Whether it being using effects on Ride's voice, the backing instrumental, or Zach's drums, its usually him doing all that. He's where all the music comes from in their performances. But yeah, MAINLY what he does in terms of the performance is the on-the-fly effects and everything related to the changes in the sound you usually only hear live. There's probably even more to what he does too... but of course, they'll never say what.
Came back a year later to rewatch this, and noticed that at 27:35 you can also see Andy playing the keys along to Anne Bonny.

@@zsebestien7050 have you been beside an acoustic drum kit? the first time i was near one it was so loud i thought the staff at there would get mad. I think Zach is playing on top of the drums of the songs so he's doubling the drums volume, making it even louder. Plus the synths and all kinda shit

He also probably plays Solitaire sometimes.

it’s so minimalist so it opens a lot of doors for fun fills
The inertia they generate is absolutely incredible…the fact that this plays like a DJ set with barely any downtime between songs, I can barely wrap my head around it.

While waiting for the show we even saw Ride walking past the venue (we weren't sure untill he walked back to the venue to the artist entrance). Only after he was too far away to even hear me did i get the courage to call his name. I'd like to think he maybe recognized me cos he was scanning the line in a nervous manner a bit and idk i was the only non-white person there except for some guy way at the stairs.

I saw DG live in Glasgow a few days before they were in Amsterdam, and I keep coming back here because this video is better than the one we got. I will never forget the feeling in my gut that I felt when they went from Big House to No Love. I'd been battered about and drained of all sweat for almost an hour before that, but I still remember having tears in my eyes and hugging a random shirtless stranger beside me when that bass hit. I can't wait to see them live again.

The floor area was one big mosh pit from front to back. I don't think filming from down there was an option for anyone, except for maybe the people at the very front. But I agree with what you are saying, it can be really annoying to be surrounded by filming phones. I myself always try to film from a position in which I least bother others, like from the back or from a balcony.
This is an incredibly intense show. Respect.
