- Ronnie Fieg hit me up and sent me a pair of the upcoming Kith x Asics Gel-Lyte III "Blush". The first in his "By Invitation Only" style of releases, these are supposedly not going to be available in store nor online - but only to those who have a special QR code invitation to purchase via the Kith mobile app. Check out my review to get a closer look at one of the most beautiful colourways I've seen in a while! Does anyone else want to scoop these up for their collections too?

Just got the invite !!! Appreciate KITH for giving me an opportunity. Absolutely Love the Peach, Lavender, Cream, and Blush hits with the Burgundy/Wine tones; plus we get 3 lacing options. ASICS x KITH dropping gems in 2023 !!!

I dig the rope laces. As if sneakers weren’t already hard enough to obtain, these almost seem untouchable. What a beautiful pair. Congrats on getting this invitation, Sean!!

Loved these since I saw them when he was on the complex sneakers podcast. I like that there is no details behind them (price/date/availability) keeps everyone guessing. Even though I wasn't a fan of the Marvel collection, the release method was very refreshing.
In all honesty, I am super heartbroken that these are invite only. I have been waiting for these ever since he posted them on his story back in March of this year. IMO he should’ve done a F&F pair and have these as regular release. I’m still going to have hope to have these one day 😅

I got my invitation through a purchase from kith Hawaii. It’s a one time scan QR code
I just copped these. Kith app notified me of my invitation and it was a smooth checkout. I’m not an influencer, I probably only received an invite because I’ve purchased Kith ASICS going back to 2010 😂

Being a GL3 Homer, I would have loved the chance to get them... especially now that Kith opened in Toronto, but zero chance that I get an invite. Good to see you getting a pair. At least they are going to the people who love them.
Great pair, I’d buy for sure. Will be interested to see how these get released. I hope it’s for people who actually wear GL3s, one of my favourite shoes.
Never owned a pair of Asics. But I have always wondered what they would feel like underfoot, I have started looking at his previous designs, and I would love to own one, they are gorgeous sneakers. Your Asic reviews are always really good, it's easy to see that you really enjoy them. Which is why this year,I have started entering the Ronnie/Kith Asic raffles. No luck yet, but will continue to try. These right here tho, joining the list of legendary colorway.

The underfoot comfort feels half way between old Nike flyknits and Air Max Ones

I appreciate your attention to detail and thoroughness with specs. Beautiful colorway, but I'm not sure about the white outsoles, the subtle color probably looks better in person.
I told myself not to buy these as even though the colourway is super pretty, I have no idea what outfit to wear them with. Long story short, I caved as soon as I got the early access, and i've got them in my lap right now 😆

@@SeanGo I'm liking them far more than I thought I would. The quality of the suede feels top and the colours are great. Usually sneakers with so many different colours, are poorly executed, but the choice of colour tones blend so nicely together. I forgot my lesson from the x-men gel lyte 3 remastered drop in that I should have sized up by half as I also can't fully close the split tongue. Overall i'm very happy I got access to buy these!

Remastered is opposite of what they released in the 25th Anniversary series, where most pairs of mine have overlapping tongue.

I got the invitation today and love the colorway. But my budget was hurting from a weeklong vacation last week and a few pairs recently purchased so I carted, thought hard, and passed. It might be a long-term regret but I had to close the wallet at some point. Any other month, I would have completed the purchase. Oh well.

So what size did you wind up going with?? 10? GL3's are tricky for me for the exact same reason you mentioned with the top of the split tongue
Hey Sean, I managed to get this pair in my TTS and it feels really snug. How long do you reckon it’ll take to break them in to get comfortable? I don’t mind needing to close the split tongue but the toe box /forefoot area feels snug width wise
maybe try a shoe stretcher? Mine are snug across the midfoot where laces are, not the toebox…

as much as i loved my pair, had to sell them away for retail as somehow these fit tighter that usual gel lyte 3. I couldnt close the tongue due to my high instep and it really bothered me 😂
