Welcome to The Gel Lyfe - I started this channel as I've been a "sneakerhead" most of my life and built a solid sneaker collection of around 200 pairs.. BUT feel the "scene" has lost any REAL sense of community and sick and tired of seeing the same kicks online or on feet. Namely Jordan 1 (fukin Mids!), Nike Dunk Lows and Adidas Yeezy Peezy's!
So I started a mission to sell my entire shoe collection and just focus on the best sneakers of all time... the Asics Gel Lyte 3!

I like the Birch / Green, very nice, love the ACG vibes of the Light Brown from the Outdoor Pack, shows how adaptable the shoe silhouette is, much like the Outdoor Pack too. However, I think my favourites are the Denim Kimono and the Japanese Textiles! Interesting use of the different sections on the Japanese Textiles, normally it's a different toebox to the rest of the shoe, but just using the top works really well on them. They remind me of a whale shark... Nice video once again!

Nice list, that japanese textile denim and Kimono are beautiful. Gotta love shoes that also come with rope laces. Still need to get my first gl 3 and it might be the Afew B.O.I that is going to get released in the U.S. I want to get it (Or at least try if there are bots and stuff) to support AFEW and show asics we like collabs and then maybe we can get another release of the red kois 👀

@@thegellyfe just out of curiosity, I realised that there are many of the GR release for the GL iii some of them just got no special name or story at all.
Is there a place that compile the list of these General release?
Cause some of them are dope but it seems so hard to find any detail for it as it is not a Collab release

@@Paul_FRSmk1 You right, you right, just copped a grail for me, the misty pines from the 2020 release, debating between going for the plum blossoms from the same pack or the Tokyo subways from the atmos map pack, also lookin at the ivory/cream all leather gr, strawberries and cream on a local marketplace, and the patchwork GRs. GL3 the only silhouette I get excited on ever since the first one, the salmon joints, in grade school
Salvage denim are dope white kicks , birch dope earth tones, kith stinger are vicious they should move up number! Strawberries and cream would be good for those Cali summertime!! Japanese textile Fire and number one on your list full bloom are vicious your list is fire🌋

The #1 Lilac actually slaps like Will Smith🧨 I started collecting in 2016 when I first saw the GL3 Scorpion Pack. Hard to find them in good condition and correct size. How do you like those (not much I assume as it's not in the top 20 😁) ?
