Top tip. Don’t take the front nozzle off to clean it while the front is still connected to the motor . It will leak back into the motor. I found this out the hard way today. Will try to open and clear the paint from the windings but I don’t Iike my chances.
Hey Carina thank you for a great demo. I really enjoyed the set up tips. I have the Flexio 585 and I always enjoy using it. I have sprayed a garage door, fence, guttering and I recently painted a new timber door. I used the brilliant attachment. I found it a challenge getting an even gloss finish because I used high gloss water base paint in the summer. It dries really fast. I had to pay more attention to the viscosity and volume. I have not sprayed gloss paint before so I found it is less forgiving than a low sheen. It took about 4 coats and I am very happy with the finish. This spring I will paint the exterior of our rendered house. I am looking forward to it.
Nothing works better then rolling brushing on paint, spraying paint gives very thin paper thick coating when using roller & or brush leaves thicker paint on the wood much better.
I've just bought one and my question is why does fence paint come in such massive amounts compared to paint trays or the tank on the sprayers?!. Couldn't Wagner produce a ready filled, disposable, tank?. They're only cheap plastic, same as the container Ronseal, etc comes in.
Hi Jack, that is an interesting idea however at Wagner we pride ourselves on producing high-quality products that can be used again and again. Having a single-use pot would go against this ethos. It most economical to purchase only the amount of material you need, but generally speaking when it comes to fences this can be a lot of material - hence the large pot sizes. We hope that helps.

In my instructions it says nozzle horizontal for a vertical spray etc

To keep the nozzle clean when I take a break, I put a wet rag on it and seal it with a medical glove.
