I love how you kept your volume as low to the point of actually sounding like a low-brass. The bari in my band is always blasting, so it's definetley refreshing to hear this.

From a current bassoon player, and former tenor player, half of band couldn't even get this tone! Your tone is really warm and all around. Very surprised. We have a Bari Sax but I don't think he as good as this!

Really love this! I played on bari sax from September 2022 to now. Sadly, I have to stop playing it to join the tubas (only 2 girls are in the tubas, and they don't play out). The band director needed me on tuba because of my air support being so aggressive that I can make the tuba section as loud as it should be. It will be neat to learn a new instrument though!
It's been a couple months since I've been playing the tuba. I'm pretty OK, still made it to top band despite having to teach myself how to play the tuba over the summer.
I’m a french horn but my friend plays bari sax! we sit right next to eachother in band class cuz im first chair horn and he’s the only bari sax! i actually rly love the look and sound of the instrument. you sounded great!
every bari part be like: seriously though. in the two songs im doing for quartet (the entertainer and strange humors) i only have two parts where i play a solo or completely by myself (the entertainer being E, C, B, A, G# and strange humors where i growl a low C#) and the rest is the bassline. the entertainer has a boring bassline, ya know the standard bum bum bum bum stuff. strange humors is at least fun to play because i get to play low B a lot (yay).
i'm playing impressions by richard nash for my solo & ensemble sextet, and bari part is so cool!! such a cool piece i recommend giving it a listen some time
im a bari player and were playing Sleigh Ride this year. I believe I play a different piece or the baris are playing a different part but your tone is amazing and this is very good.
i actually started on alto, and went straight to bari lol. back in middle school i remember the adjustment being so hard, but i eventually got used to it even tho it took a really long time. me being a smaller person, that big of an instrument is a struggle at times haha
Lil hard to hear with the percussion, but it was good. I've played the bari before, although its not my primary. That being said, its not the easiest instrument to play. Again, very nice
i just started playing bari about 4 months ago and were playing sleigh ride (its a different arrangement tho but still very similar) and I wanted to say you have a great sound, its a sound ive been trying to get where its good at bridging the woodwind and lower-brass sound. Just a question what arrangement is this because its sound cool.
