You're right on the intake, even if the tune says it needs it 99% of stock german intakes would make the same power on the same tune, and the filters are cheaper, filter better and dont need to be cleaned. ALSO the reason the intake sounds arent what youre expecting is because the "throttle body" on modern BMW engines with valvetronic are only there to be completely shut or open, the actual change in airflow to the cylinder is handled by valvetronic, so instead that throttle body giving you nice acustic feedback through a hot air intake you have valves opening a bit more to let air in and a permanently open throttle body, which gives much less feedback acustically.
The rear tires rub sometimes but not too bad. And the front wheels do hit the inside wheel well sometimes when I go over hard sudden dips in the road but that also doesn’t happen often.
@@InlineSixAuto They do have LCI euro lights! However the only difference is that the turn signals are amber so its only a sutle touch but looks great when they are on

hey man, i love your build and it’s exactly what i want to do to mine eventually. how much money would you say you spent total on this car so far in mods?
@@jamesneto7321 They offer M-Sport bumpers for both Pre-LCI (2006-2008) and LCI (2009-2011) since they are two different styles. Yours would be Pre-LCI. 100% agree with just enjoying your car and not worrying about if it's the "right" car to mod in anybody else's eyes. I love the look of yours! What's the paint / wrap called? Looks so good. Thinking about painting my japan red E90 :)
I dropped them off at my closest certified installer and had them do the retrofit. But I think I could've installed myself. Its not as complicated as I thought it was
Pretty sure I talk about them in the video ? They're my factory headlights with aftermarket LED angel eye rings from bavgruppe designs. I have them linked in the description if you want to check them out. They would require you or a professional to take a part your headlights for them to be installed.
hey i know the video was posted a while ago so might not get the chance to see this but was wondering if you know if the coilovers you have would fit a 325xi by anychance
They all could be be used on that model, except for the angel eye rings (only compatible with LCI Xenon headlights). The BC Coilovers are avaible for both AWD and RWD. And the front M sport bumper can fit but it would require you to alter the front grills since the Pre-LCI grills are different.
@@BrimstoneBrigadier Yeah but that's nothing compared to newer cars now. And it wouldn't be worth it for what it costs imo. I actually did the stage 3 intake manifold swap + AA tune but it didn't yield any gains according to the dyno and that costs me almost 2k lol. After that I decided I wasn't going to waste any more money one performance. I spent 2k in bolts for my N55 and gained 100hp and 180 torque. I still love this car though.
@InlineSixAuto man. I was thinking of getting another 328xi and rebuilding the motor but I'm thinking a 335i is probably a better choice long term. Or possible a 2012 m3 could be fun.
@@BrimstoneBrigadier If you're looking for a lot of power potential, I would say just get a E90/E92 335i. E90/E92 M3 is a good choice also but it doesn't have as much potential from what I've seen. That V8 though.
For a sedan, there is a street fighter kit for around 3 grand I think. For individual stuff you could use Carid. For any non cosmetic I would use FCP Euro

The rear tires rub sometimes but not too bad. And the front wheels do hit the inside wheel well sometimes when I go over hard sudden dips in the road but that also doesn’t happen often.
so for your coilovers it was $995 for all 4 or is it separate for front and back for a total of $2k?
It was $995 for the full kit
