If you have patience you can do everything on this car yourself. If u want to spend money for no reason the total cost for these repairs will be around 5k.

My Ghibli was leased through Ferrari-Maserati of Ft. Lauderdale. At the time of delivery, a service package was offered to me. The package included the first 3 annual services over a 3 year period for an astonishing $1200! I also opted for the road hazard warranty for an additional $1800. This one covered the tires and rims from any type of road damage. I replaced 2 rear tires and had all 4 rims resurfaced. All at no extra charge and w/no deductible whatsoever. There is a catch though. Both of these packages expire at 36 months. It sounds to me that the Maserati Gibhli is very expensive with respect to maintenance. Hey Alfred! The drivers seat had a really bad squeak! I put it in the video labeled "My Maserati Ghibli is Falling Apart" These things dont happen for every car. Some have few quality issues, others dont have any. But if you run into these problems they are covered under warranty so no worries!

Maserati is changing they way Ghibli sales are. They are going to make less, option them out fully so you cant possibly buy a brand new Ghibli with few to no options and then create a demand for them at a higher price. Thats the way you solve the depreciation problem.
I see. Sounds like a good way to prevent such depreciation on ghiblis. As far as there lease specials, do you think they will be as low and attractive. for example, I’ve witnessed ghiblis go for $650 a month including maintenance w tax w only about $6k down, 12k miles. Do you still this year will be like that, or high $900s?

Not everyone at all, just you probably notice the noise from the ones that do, coz the ones that keep and love them, like me, don’t need to make any noise.
So how much are you paying for your $130K Audi, Mercedes or BMW. I had a used Mercedes and went to check the sunroof. One hour later and a few 100s they did a 10sec repair and the problem came back next day. There’s no way around luxury brands other than lease and maintenance included.
if u r into a car like this, then it means u can afford maintenance period. Stop complaining, if u can not afford maintenance then stick to a honda
Shut the fuc k up and learn to do sh it urself
It sounds to me that the Maserati Gibhli is very expensive with respect to maintenance. I have had numerous Mercedes-Benz products and have never had any issues with the service nor with the vehicles themselves. It sounds like the Maserati has a lot of maintenance problems. Is that the correct interpretation?
All of these problems on a damn near new luxury car.
I'd be more concerned with the 75% depreciation in value after 3 years lol
HAD A MAS AND WHAT A BEAUTIFUL CAR .NOT A PROBLEM I NEVER HAD TO PAY FOR WORK
GREAT CAR
Ferrari/Maserati of Fort Lauderdale ………i paid $1100 for 3rd year service, no surprise here tho. Love my car STILL with ZERO issues. BTW Ron, is that the Champions League anthem at the end?😆😉
Yeah any dealership that has Ferrari is gonna cost you, which is expected because the Ferrari technician are worth their rate.
Oh and yes it is haha, like the outro? ;)
FCAforever yeah, for the 4* year service here in New Jersey they charge me $1.500
Never again
You ARE running a Maserati, you need to pay the exotic car tax...
I'm thinking this solidifies my leaning toward an E55 AMG instead. Thanks for the video!
I had to get my exhaust fixed too, it was the hanger that broke 🥵
The next owner will be lucky. They’ll essentially have a log of the ghibli’s previous ownership. Much better than a simple carfax.
Thanks for the insider look at the real world costs. I can’t imagine what would happen if you didn’t have that warranty.
I hope the next owner when that comes will love and appreciate the car as much as I did. And no warranty means no more money from Ron lol.
Slide that employee discount over here !
Lol wish I could!
Lease is up in 6 months 👍🏽
No other fluid changes? Belts, hoses? No inspections, eg, of suspension components or brake system?
I've heard horror stories on these cars from poorly made interior quality to engines locking up at 60,000 miles. Really! 30.00 per sparkplug NGK brand?
Why wouldn’t you do this yourself. I’m sure you could do an oil change and change spark plugs yourself. And you don’t need to change spark plugs that often.
LMFAO at these people talking about this price being decent.. for spark plugs and a filter. $800 bucks is rape. 500 bucks is assault.
This service should cost $200 tops. And even that's overpriced including labor because none of that should take very long.
I'm genuinely curious how anybody could justify this cost.
$1,000 per year isn't bad. Pocket change.
I'm looking at buying a 2015 Ghibli for $31,000 - first is this a decent price and do you suggest buying the extended warranty? It has 29,000 miles, blue with tan interior and in great condition
No warranty can save you from the cost of luxury cars. They may pay once. After that, they will look shoot every claim down.
Russell. I almost bought one for $26000. I watched some reviews on here, and I am so glad I didn't.
The performance doesn't seem to be worth the money...
@@dallaswyatt880What did you end up buying instead? Also you are not buying performance 😂
fun fact: jaguar xf s costs half the price with the same mileage USED, jags last longer and they are cheap to maintain, around 300 to 500 euros a year
Can you get your car Certified at your dealership before you trade it in to boost the value?
Thats a good question. To be honest the dealership (aka me) would have to pay $2k for it to be certified. Not sure if it will be worth the selling/trade in price when it comes down to it.
I was low key confused on the oil canisters because I thought it was 5w-40 lol but then I realized you just went along with it
Lol yeah thats my bad. I should have never picked them up. I was just talking about oil and then said "Oh look oil canisters, guess i'll pick those up!" lol
what are those seats called? I've only seen them on either time and they are beautiful!
I don't see Maserati and Alfa Romeo staying in the US market for very long
Dude are you serious? 😂😂😂 the been in the US market before you probably even been born. Alfa just came back to the U.S. market since 2017 but they been in the U.S. since the 80's. And Maserati been around in the U.S. since the 1960's.
So total is closer to 400 for labor and all parts! Not including headrest! As the little plastic piece for headrest is 9$ bucks Dum-Dum! You could fix it Yourself 🥰🍷💋
My 3rd year was 935. But I have a Quattroporte GTS
Hey where did u go for your Maintenance
I have ghibli gran lusso with 11k miles my warranty will expire in few months should I extend warranty, the dealer wants $4k for warranty
Thanks for the Massi Ghibli vids Ron - all have been very helpful. Quick question, what was your residual purchase price if you should have decided to purchase your vehicle after your 3 year lease?
Such an awesome car 😍🔥💪🏻
My ghibli is making suspension noises when I drive through a little rough patch, and when I make full lock turn . Does anybody know the solution to this?
So why did you sell it? Be honest I want one. Should I get one or no
did you hear that exhaust tho like daaang
I'm trying to purchase Maserati Ghibli 2017 sq4 from one friend of my other friend. May I know what do you recommend me to check if it's not pre-certified?It‘s a 8000 miles car.
i bought a jag x type 8 years ago and put over 200k miles on it and i changed oil 2wice....lol car still starts up never stalled.... but want a ghibli.... found a 2016 with 37000 miles 1 owner for 28k...... what should i ask the dealer regards to finding out what they did to the car before i buy it...... any feedback would be appreciated....cant you bring the masarati to a jiffy lube?
Holy crap $260 labor for a 1 hour job...
My brother n law just changed his breaks and rotors because u cant just do the brakes for 8,000$. But he aint bitchin 🤔.
Airfilters look like cheap material. I’m sure the price tag wasn’t
Hey Ron. I’m looking to get this 2014 ghibli for $27,000 with 57,000 miles to put on turo. Should I go with it ?
Check cad fax. I bought 2015 one 50k km for $45k clean total
lmao ..bmw dealership charges more sparkplug change +labor for inline 6 engine
Hi Ron I have a 2017 SQ4. Surprised that yours has so many rattles. Mine was bought in Dec 2017 and only has 5,000 km on it. What is the seat rattle you talked about? Not the headrest but the seat rattle? I’m worried about what is in store for me! I love the car more and more as I drive it. Only wish the body was Pininfarina.
Hey Alfred! The drivers seat had a really bad squeak! I put it in the video labeled "My Maserati Ghibli is Falling Apart" These things dont happen for every car. Some have few quality issues, others dont have any. But if you run into these problems they are covered under warranty so no worries!
Nice deal on your maintenance
It has a Chrysler 3.7 pentastar not an expensive engine
whats the tint percentage on your windows including the front windshield? it looks good
Thank you! Believe it or not, the windshield is not tinted, just the other 5 windows and that is at 20%
This is not a Kia. My E350 convertible cost over $500 for spark plugs at 50,000 miles and oil change is $200 and it wasn’t $75 k new. Oh and if your looking for an investment don’t buy a car.
Lmao. You must be insane to pay those prices for a trash e350. no car ever is an investment. My suggestion. Go find a local Indy shop who doesn’t scam you.
Do you have a custom exhaust? Muffler delete?
Can’t you do the oil your self
Yes you can lf you don't have a warranty on the car. I change my oil every 6000 miles or less because I believe in saving the life of the turbo's on my car. I think 12000 miles oil changes will only cause problems to the egine of a turbo car.
What if you use royal purple oil
@@robertbrown1933 you can change your own oil and maintain your warranty. Dealers will give you a hard time because they want to make the money from servicing your car but it is not required to have them do it. It's actually illegal for a manufacturer to make you go through them. I suggest you read up on the federal trade commission website before spreading false information.
@@stevedrawdy2532 I hear you Steve but most people with warrantys will just take their car back to the dealership to have the work done. i work on my own car because i can. An oil change is a simple process for most cars including the Ghilbli.
Nice car Ron
need coils with plugs? really?
LMAO!
It’s always best replace coils while changing spark plugs :)
NOT, just de spark plugs, Coils change just when fails!!!
Agreed. No need to do coils just spark plugs.
What city and country?
The akward moment, you realise that your 4 twinspark plugs cost double than 6 of Maserati's (undercover Ferrari) 😂😂
BUT
At least, NGKs for AR last for ~90.000km. (60.000miles)
Love the Chamions league anthem at the end! ⚽🏆💚
Yeah right? Lol yeah NGK makes some amazing plugs for Ferrari/Masi and thank you! Glad you noticed the outro music!
Champions League !! Love it !!
Thanks Paolo!
Really 27 thousand miles spark plugs change that is not common but it say 31 thousand miles
So Ron, what do you think about the current sales for Ghiblis? Do you think they want to get more of these out on the streets with their lease specials or they want to keep the prices high to be more selective? What’s your opinion? Inform us! Super thanks Ron.
My 2015 Ghibli SQ4 is approaching the 37K service. How much does that usually run? My warranty is coming to an end in April 2019. I am getting the Steering Wheel and CD Player replaced. Back ordered from Italy. Thanks to you and your videos I also got the leather center console doors replaced. Had it for almost a year now and did have some issues that got fixed under warranty like a battery issue and also the 4 Wheel Drive module got replaced. Runs like a beast!
What your opinion on the BMW I8
Why not just go to a Chrysler dealer for the service... pretty much the same car as the 300C!🤣😂
Simple, because a Chrysler does NOT have a Ferrari engine 🙂
@@CinDy-hw7fg
It has Chrysler Pentastar v6 with heads designed by Ferrari and assembled in Detroit...
Ron did you checked the Kia Stinger?
If you do,what you think of it ?
I actually did haha. We have a local dealer here and I decided to stop in. They had a pearl white with red interior so you already know I loved the spec. That may be the next move in a few months to be real. I didnt have time to drive it but was impressed by that I saw. Looked at a GT1.
@@RonsRides
Yes I know it
Red interior, white exterior, and black wheels lol.
It's great car,you know being a KIA some people might be bias .
excellent video
Hi where is the mass air flow sensor ?
I learn a lot. thanks
Nothing worse than some annoying streamer hovering over you when you're just trying to do your job.
You better talk to Maserati and offer a male and have them to lower their their roof repair costs nobody's going to deal with paying $1,000 to change spark plugs
lets wake up the neighbors? i say that everyday 😀😀😀😀
Great info thanks
Thanks!
anyone has the problem about the front window up and down noice?
Low key that's cheap. My Jeep cost me an arm and a leg.
Why so much taking just told us what u dojng now the price?
How to reseat maintenance light manual ??
So I seen a 2014 q4 with 135k mikes on it and they want 18k for it!!?? Is that too much or should I keep searching!
Way too much, I see them go for 20-25k in Florida with under 35k miles on them.
Masarati are very bad investments cars. Get rid of that thing ASAP. 2015 masarati msrp was 70k that year and we in 2020 now and you get can these cars for 25k....wow...pos cars.
Yet you’re driving a Subaru
@@fxxckallyall6010 at least my sti will have resale value and they still make Subarus till this day. Do your research on masarati 🤦🏽♂️. Oh and by the way I can buy a masarati anytime I want to but knowing facts about how unreliable they are and no resale value then I won’t get one. It’s okay that you can’t afford one and thought that I couldn’t ether lmaooo.

@@dunbar1105 you’re easy to manipulate. You watches some guy “Doug” complain about nonsense, he knows nothing about cars and so do you. You drives a Subaru. Don’t talk to me 😂
Why u change the spark plug? Its too low millage and you put tow diferent types of oil!! 0w20 and 0w40 thats wrong
On the third service changing the spark plugs is recommended so I was playing by the book. The first oil canister i picked up is what went in. I just picked up the other canister by instinct but we didnt use both lol.
Spark plugs could run up to 50k miles. As long as your not loosing power I feel you don't tamper with them.
My plugs needed changing at 38,000 miles due to no 3 misfire. Changed the entire set and rechecked them at 17,000 and had a lot of carbon build up. I use 93 octane but at different gas stations. I cleaned up the carbon and now only use Shell 93 octane. I have not checked again to see the condition of the spark plugs... I will in a month and will let you know...
Me ontenz That was a year ago, please let us know
